NICE!!!! I am doing a Ls3/6L80eE in a 03'Crown Vic Police Interceptor. First swap but not my first engine lol. It's a project with my grandkids. Nice build brother!!!
Nicely done man. I'm in Tampa and just got done with my 2000 Sonoma swap. I went the donor vehicle route and you're correct, it worked out nicely. Definitely looking for an OBS S10 to do next.
Your power steering pulley. Did you use the donor trucks ? Alot of S10 swaps have trouble with the stock truck power steering pulley hitting the gear box . Did you use a different pulley ?
Thanks man. I just have a 20 gallon tank, with a walbro 255 pump, and a corvette fuel filter/regulator with AN fittings and hose. I could do a short on my fuel system. Maybe soon.
Nice build. Where did you get cold air intake kit from. I have a 1st gen ls swapped and having hard time finding one that fits with keeping original hood.
Yea I didn't want to buy a cowl hood, but it's near impossible to fit the factory hood with a tbss intake. The CAI is from ebay, it's for a v6 silverado, 3.5" pipe and comes with everything you need.
Ahhh ok. Yea im not sure about that but they know more than me lol. The transdapt is cheap but needs to be modified slightly to fit my pickup. Not sure on the blazers.
@@CharmleysChopShop You don't have to know about it, that's what I was told in response to the email I sent to them. S10 blazer frames have perches that the motor mounts bolt to and raise the engine about an inch higher.

Do you remember what year of Astro van you got the steering shaft from?

Would the stock S10 hood clear?
What is the fuel set up? Nice video

@CharmleysChopShop cool appreciate info will have to check out. Yea I don't want to put a cowl hood on. Lol. Whats your IAT run with that set up.
It usually levels out around 125 degrees. That's in like 90 degree florida heat.
How far does the oil pan hang down past the crossmember and did you have to notch the cross member?
It's almost flush, with those mounts and that oil pan you're golden.
@@CharmleysChopShop almost like just below or just above?
It's totally even with the crossmember, but where the oil plug is, it's about a 1/4" below the crossmember.
@@CharmleysChopShop and no notching needed?
No notch here. Forget all that lol.
What trans crossmember did you use?
The transdapt to save money, but id save your pennies and get the holley crossmember
Ahhh ok. Yea im not sure about that but they know more than me lol. The transdapt is cheap but needs to be modified slightly to fit my pickup. Not sure on the blazers.

Right! Yea, the blazers are different for sure.
What steering shaft did you use?
I think I explain it in the video. Jeep/astro van shaft.
@@CharmleysChopShop and you said it's a bolt in deal...no reclocking of the shaft?
Yea I just bolted mine right in. You'll have to Google I can't remember what years work.
