I grew up in Canada but I was born in Romania… i am currently 14 years old and I am planning to go back to Canada since I moved back to Romani a last year before Covid my dad applied for a citizenship for him and I but it got cancelled and we needed to go to Canada. Do I need to have a citizenship to be a flight attendant? English is my first language but I’m starting to forget it since I’m now learning Romanian. I’m from Vancouver btw ! Any tips?
For airlines in Canada, it depends on the airline. Some will only hire Canadian citizens with a Canadian passport (Air Canada, for example). Others will hire permanent residents as well (Jazz Aviation, for example). You'll need to check with each airline and read each one's flight attendant job posting to see.

Probably. You'll have to check with the schools themselves. Canadian airlines (by and large) don't care if you've done flight attendant schooling and won't give you any preference. Among other qualifications, they do care if you speak French or not.
Hi I am currently doing diploma in Canada and then I M thinking about doing a flight attendant training I have the same question as everyone do I need to be a permanent resident to get hired or not??
Depends on the airline, but not completely necessary. But most Canadian airlines will favour French-speaking candidates and will likely hire them over someone who only speaks English.
Depends on how far you got. Did you get an interview? If so, they should tell you if you didn't make it past the interview. If you only sent in an application, then they'll likely only contact those whom they choose to interview. Check directly with each airline to confirm their hiring procedures.
