Just picked this up at my local microcenter for a whopping $99. Good buy?

The only reason I bought this is because I have Philips Hue, and a Razer mouse and keyboard. The chroma on the Hanbo and Kunai fans really sets the mood not only for my PC, but my whole bedroom

tbh the price is just ridiculous. Even if this was the best cooler with all the features i ever wanted I would never ever even think of buying an AIO in this price range.

I have a lot of razer gear btw. Razer Lian Li 011, Razer huntsman elite, Razer Naga Hex V2, Razer Firefly, Razer RGB hub inside my case.
As you can see I am a razer fan and I would forgive small faults but the products have to be competetive. 180€ keyboard is a lot, but its at least comparable to corsairs offering in terms of price and features.

It's just an Asetek AIO with a razer logo slapped onto it. Asetek is actually a very good manufacturer, so the Hanbo AIO itself isn't bad or anything, it just has a (steep) razer tax on it. If you got the money to blow, it's not an objectively sub-par AIO pump... but you could buy the same one for half the price (with a screen on it).

Did you have C stated disabled? That will revert to base clock until you override manually.

I bought one on clearance for $160. My 1st AIO and I will probably take your advice and go all Razer. Thumbs up for self-sponsorship!

How does it compare to other top 360s?

So I do love the razer brand. HOWEVER, I cannot justify any of their products other than their headphones, mice, keyboards, or chairs. Their computer components are just bad compared to the competition for the price points they slap on there. 800 dollars for a monitor that performs equal to a 200-300 dollar monitor, 45 dollars for a fan that performs worse than a 20 dollar fan, or 360 dollars for an AIO that performs worse than the Elite Capellix (which is 180)is just ridiculous. I expect high quality from Razer due to their high quality keyboards, mice, chairs and headphones at competitive pricing. I can’t help but feel that Razer is trying to take advantage of the people loyal to their brand

Definitely feel Razer is way in over their head. Almost like Apple of the gaming PC world. This thing is STILL $300 for the 240mm version. I wanted to build an all Razer build but when I found out I'd be spending $1,000 on a case, cooler, fans, and PSU, I built an all Corsair build and never looked back. What's worse, is the Razer case didn't even have dust filters.

all corsair is not much better, fanboying to any brand is a great way to get your money scammed out of you
