I dont know if you've tested both but how does this one compare to the GTRacer? GTRacer is within my budget but since this one came out, I'm wondering if the extra cost is worth it. Hopefully you shall see this comment and ease my worries :)

Thanks for the video! Sadly I need a foldable rig as I don't have space (using the Playseat Challenge at the moment, which is good but I cannot adjust the wheelbase height). This rig would be perfect for me if the wheelbase white "pillars" could be folded onto the pedals or something like that. If it was foldable I could just fold the seat, fold the steering support and then have it vertical and stored somewhere.

What I would like to know is if by not liking the chair it can be switched for another model?

What is the total length of this cockpit?

i have limited space in my room but really like this cockpit, would it be possible to partially disassemble it each time i want to put it away or would that cause the bolts to wear on the metal of the cockpit to much?

I've seen many helpful videos on getting everything set up; however, yours is by far the BEST as it is more in-depth as, for my case, held the key to the most important lock, so to speak....information about SteamVR. Of course, because of age of video and the updates of Steam, once I went through the steps downloading (and yes, some confusing frustration along the way), I was able to go from 11fps to a whoping 43fps!!! Hello,just got a z790 tuf pro, with 2 x16 gb at 6000mhz ( cpu i7 14700k) with xmp profile on,the ram are at 6000mhz and i get the boot loop and blue screen all the time when i open the pc, with 1 stick works fine! but when both are togheter pc freeze/crash and put me into bios,or repair mode thingy, ill try do to what you done in this video to see if its working somehow,or if anyone has a ideea ,been hours im trying to make it work! Thanks !

Followed your video to a T and was not able to get nothing more than 6600 from my ram im running Asus z790 e gaming wifi 2 with i9 13900k with 96 gb of ddr5 g skill ram rated at 8000 mhz 4x24gb also my bios is up to date

I have 6000mhz ddr5 ram that cant run at 1.4 vdd voltage. I tried 1.5 and still the ram stress test gets errors or it struggles to load up. If i lower my RAM to 5200mhz and keep it at 1.4 vdd voltage which is what its set to automatically by ASUS it runs fine. My question is that should I keep increasing the two voltages in order to achieve the 6000mhz speed as the RAM sticks are meant to do or is it not worth it. By the way im using 4x16gb sticks Any help would be appreciated thank you.

I agree, studio form made the big differnce in my case. I went from unconfortable to super confortable playing 3 hours non stop. I could have played longer, should I had more time available

No issues here. I paired the DMAS and I was 3 hours on kayak. I think the visuals here is the minimum I want from now on. For me this is the new standard.

My biggest question. Why is the PSU mounted backwards? Wouldn't you want it to not feed off the GPU, and instead come in from the side panel?

Great stuff 😊👏👏 and sacrifice in terms of it beeing akward around other passengers. If the Quest 3 had a cooler looking front i think it would be alot easier to wear and also people wouldn't be as weirded out or just overly curious about "what that guy is doing"😅 If i ever travel alone at some point i might bring it on the flight. But other than that with the wife and kids it wont work for me on a plane 😅

I got mine a couple days ago and I am sending it back. First of all, after about 10 minutes of use, an entire row of pixels died in the left eye. But worse than that, the lenses have a very bad distortion effect around the inner edges by the nose cutout. It made everything in the bottom center of my view look very off. Instrument panels didn’t appear at the correct distance, and when focusing on a single point in space and moving my head from side to side, there is a very noticeable warbling effect. It is very off putting and immersion breaking. It very much felt like I am looking through a piece of glass (like a coke bottle) and not viewing something naturally as if I were there. I previously owned/own a Rift S and G2 and have never had this issue with fresnel lenses. Despite lots of tweaking with settings and adjusting the headset position and IPD, I could not get rid of the distortion and am convinced it is a design flaw of this lens type. It began to give me headaches and is a deal breaker for me, since viewing airplane cockpits clearly is a must. Had the lens not had this issue, I would send it back for the dead pixels and be satisfied with a replacement.

I sent mine back as well .Far to heavy for me .And it kept steaming up .And unconfutable with glasses .My aero is now back on me face its still a great headset.

The only thing I like from this rig is the controller and buttons. I'd strip them off and install them on my rig. This thing looks like it was a test unit and is not fully developed for the market. Way to shaky. Once you start flying heli's proficiently you will see that your ergonomics could have been better and that you will out grow that rig pretty quickly and want something much better. I fly both fixed and rotary but helicopters are my favorite when it comes to sims. This is a starter rig to give you a taste of flying helicopters. It's a very good starter rig.

anybody who says it needs forcefeedback obviously doesnt fly helis for real. With the frictions set correctly, this thing emulates all helicopters without force trim, up to and including the EC135 that i fly for real. If you are a flight student, using this with Xplane and VR will save you soooo much money learning to hover, thus the 1700 is good value.

I would give you a better advice. 4 memory sticks result in lots of crosstalk. You should play with Skew settings. Ignore the ones that says Group A and Group B, for the rest try to put them somewhere in the middle. 4 memory sticks require higher values to have stronger signal. Stronger signal though may prevent you of getting high speeds, so you may need to lower those values actually. The higher speed you go, the harder is to find the balance.

One thing I really don’t like about this and some other custom keyboards is that they feature RGB lighting without providing useful illumination for the letters. I get that the necessary keycaps for proper lighting may affect the sound and feel, but in that case, why waste money on RGB at all?
