This guy is great at teaching: the right camera position, the right speed, the right sequence of sections. I thank you in behalf of all the KISS fans who were ever inspired by KISS to pick up a guitar.
You're very welcome; It's nice to hear I helped - Ace inspired me and I know he continues to inspire.I appreciate you time & kind comment ~ My Best ~ Joe
Thank you so much for taking the time to post this. This is always been my favorite Ace guitar work and one of my favorite Kiss songs. It was one of them I always kind of thought was untouchable for me to learn until seeing your video. Thanks again
I know what you mean; I feel the same about Let Me Go Rock and Roll - but I haven't attempted that in years, it's a mental think from trying so many time before without the skills I've acquired through these years. It's on the to do list. Thanks for the note and I am glad to know I helped ~ My Best ~ Joe
That is one fine lesson my friend! Has always been one of my favorite tunes. You did a fabulous job.
+MrOldnslofly How about that!! Too cool, I worked pretty hard on getting the parts/sound right. I've loved KISS from day one - so I'm really glad you liked. ~ My Best ~ Joe
Awesome! Thank you kindly sir

Great lesson - and you're right Great Tone!
+Andrew Parfitt Thank you Andrew - it's as much fun to "find the tone" as it is to do the lesson. I hope your doing well and appreciate your kind note ~ My Very Best ~ Joe
Thank you! For some reason I could never get "the lick we all know". Now I get it.
Great video. That rig sounds great
Thanks - I can tell you - that Les Paul came with custombuckers, and I don't know if all of them sound alike, but they had a string clarity that was pronounced. It's evident here for sure. My Best ~ Joe
gtrjoe1901 I have the SD Whole lotta humbuckers in my LP. Yours sound brighter with a crisp bite
Excellent instruction, note for note
You're very welcome, I'm glad to help and appreciate the kind comment ~ My Best ~ Joe
I don't think Ace ever got the due respect he deserves for his creative and tasteful solos.
For sure, he's why I started playing and still enjoy discovering his work! My Best ~ Joe
GREAT LESSON. That is all.
Joe this is exactly the lesson I've been looking for on Let Me Go Rock n Roll- the Alive version. Parts divided and thoroughly explained. Maybe if you decide to use your valuable time on another lesson you would consider that song. Thanks for ALL of your vids- much appreciated.
Glad to help! ~ Let Me Go Rock n Roll- the Alive version is on my list to do; it's one I've always wanted to learn, but never put in the time - so, it's "time"! My very first LP was KISS Alive! and that was the spark that got me playing oh so long ago, although it seems like yesterday. I really appreciate the time and kind note ~ All My Best ~ Joe
What is that Amp???
It's a THD Flexi 50 - great amp if you like to try different tubes/tones - very flexible. My Best ~ Joe
