- Here's the second lesson for one of those good ol' KISS songs - 100,000 years. This one is from the their first self titled album and a good one, if you ask me!
This video is based on Ace Frehleys guitar parts in the song. There will be one more video lesson for the bass parts. Well, lead is kinda misleading as Ace is playing both rhythm (partly different from Paul) and lead but yeah, I guess you know what I'm talking about!

This solo always reminded me of the solo in Steely Dan's Reelin in the Years.
Never thought about that (gotta listen now) but THAT is a great *BEEP* song!
Another great walkthrough of a KISS classic, well done! „Love her all I can“ is another masterpiece of Ace, IMO.
Thanks, happy to see you like it! Love her all I can is such a good song and Ace's lead is right on it! I have a cover recording of it on the channel, gonna get around to do a lesson on that one too...
Probably the best cover I've heard. Most people don't bother to recreate the two-part lead at the beginning of solo 1. As far as I am concerned, this is a huge mistake. With one guitar this part is pretty dull, but that harmonizing lead (much like it appears in Black Diamond and later, Detroit Rock City) really makes the who thing stand out.
Thanks a bunch, Andy! I'm far from the best guitarist out there but trying my best so very happy to see a comment like your, warms my heart and really makes me inspired to continue my quest to cover all those classics from KISS! :)
Thanks for pulling this video together along with the matching video. You have a good ear in my opinion.
Great job breaking this KISS classic down, thank you sir!
Thank You, happy you like it!
🔥🔥🔥 way to tear it up Magnus!
Thanks!!!
AWERSOME!!!
Thanks! :
This is excellent! Thank you!
Thanks right back, glad you liked it!
"Anyway I hope you like this video, get some use from it and have some kind of interest in it otherwise I don't know why you're watching"
😂😆😄 you crack me up. You always manage to make me laugh in every single video of yours that I've seen.
My all-time favourite Ace Frehley solo, thanks so much for posting this, another great lesson, as always. 🔥🎸🤘
Hehe, glad you like it! :) And I do appreciate your kind words, if you're having a laugh and like the lessons, well, that's just awesome!
Awsome!
Thanks! 😎🤘

Thank you! :)

The subtitles: Teaching how to take a bath in space
Perhaps that's a good way to learn physics 😂
I f... love the subtitles sometimes! I know my english isn't perfect but the result in some videos are hilarious!!
Very good covers, my respects to you, I would like you to cover ALL HELL´S BREAKIN LOOSE by the band KISS
Thanks a bunch! My heart is really with the classic KISS albums but I might very well give that a try...
can you play I´m a legend tonight?
Guess I could, I have not listend to those new tracks since Killers came out. It was at the breaking point when KISS started not sounding like the KISS I loved.
I will do ALL the 70s albums but after that I might do some later songs. Your request is noted, thank You!
