Good question. I'm currently working on bone nut and saddle replacement. I put the bottom 4 strings on and need to lower everything but am unsure on neck bow first or after
Low tack painter's tape will pull off cleanly, leaving no tape residue that needs to be removed. I have never seen anyone use mineral spirits/paint thinner to clean a fretboard. Everyone that I know uses naptha or ronsonol. Both leave no greasy feeling like paint thinner, and no nasty smell either like paint thinner does.
great video, where do you get the tool to hold the feeler gauge
Excellent tutorial! Clearly stated and thorough.
Id use blue painter's tape. Much less aggressive adhesive on it minimizing left over tack and risk of lifting varnish or lacquer
should the slight concave neck bow be set before you set the nut and saddle height or does the bow be checked after full sting tension? Thanks

After setting the proper nut slot height, why didn’t you check the neck relief and set that correctly prior to checking the action at the 12 fret?
Well said kid common sense
Great video. Do all these measurements work for nylon string classical guitar?
Why no comments? Very nice work.
