Excuse me sir, I was merely pointing out how the newer music of today speaks on behalf of those out here, around the world, finally have artists who can speak and make aware the trials and tribulations we face every day. 29, 30, 40 years ago it was swept under the carpet, left to rot in an isolated room, and some dealt with more horrific means to an end that just wasn't talked about. I know. I lived through those times. I was trying to point out another artist, who I'm sorry-just learned of today, is equal to the artists I mentioned. It wasn't meant to cause harm or disrespect and I think and feel all 3 artists could hear an affirmation that the stories they tell really do make an impact to those of us who suffer with mental illness. Instead of putting a gun to their head, they think twice before pulling the trigger, or the son who committed suicide through an overdose...many other stories fit with these examples and thank God for another artist who brings this to light and makes the awareness a reality. I meant to offend noone....

I apologize. Hearing Anxiety for the first time, I was in awe, for more reasons than one. Maybe I did speak out of turn from one song...no, I didnt...the words hit home just as hard and as deep and I look forward to hearing more. Mental illness took my baby sister 12 years ago. It runs in my family, sometimes like wild fire, and scares me to death. I refuse to see doctors so hearing this song for the first time was a light bulb for me (ironic the sing today is Road Runner) and explained and gave a name to what u feel. I appreciate the candidates of the story in Anxiety. Maybe someday more artists will come out speaking of human issues but until then let's value ALL artists who aren't afraid to speak out...they truly make a difference, sometimes between life and death....

Hey brother..I'm sorry for your loss and the struggles you are going through and I'm gonna pray things get better for you and life blesses you and the family with endless love, happiness and opportunities also for amazing mental and physical health. I just wanted to thank you for this song..it's exactly how I been feeling lately and up 2 about yr and half ago I couldn't understand mental health. I was so naive to the whole thing when I would hear someone say they were depressed I would be the one that said just cheer up. You have so many good things in your life how could you be depressed. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks after losing my sister then my parents, 2 friends and my 2 dog's. But I'm grateful for people like yourself that can put it out to the public..I guess it makes me feel not so weird. Please don't take it like I'm happy you are going through it. If I can take it from everyone I would. But this song hit at the exact moment I needed to hear it and it's basically everything I want to say but don't have the courage to do so. I only recently found you and followed along a little when your brother was released and seen how hard you were working to give him another chance at life. Family doesn't always have to be blood ..and I'm sure he is up there looking down at you with a smile on his face telling everyone "that's my brother right there " you are a good man and amazing friend and just remember it's only you and your immediate family that you need to make up and don't worry about how anyone else looks or thinks about you.
