That's exactly what I thought when I saw the video. I've been struggling with making rap music for a long time. I did a lot of freestyle rap as a teenager and young adult. But circumstances just didn't let me do anything serious with it. Just yesterday I thought to myself again how much I just want to rap. I just want to express myself and give love back to the community. And then I thought again, who wants to listen to me old man? Then I see the video and BOOM! The man has skills, flow and something to say. And he's at least as old as me or maybe older. That gives me courage and awakens my own hunger. That's why age shouldn't matter. Only the passion and the will count! 💪🏽

For me, the line "Been through hell and I'll be damned if I climbed out just so I can jump back in." is exactly how I feel about my addiction to alcohol. When people question me, as you might imagine happens quite often, if I can and will stay sober for the long run, this line is my answer to that question.

This gives me inspiration foreal. I used to rap, ever since 6th grade. I stopped because I just felt like it wasn't gonna go anywhere and being a single Dad to, 2 lil girls, I needed something thst paid the bills. I'll be 36 in March and I can tell this guy is older than I am. So if he's doing his thing at his age.. I can too 💯💯
That's exactly what I thought when I saw the video. I've been struggling with making rap music for a long time. I did a lot of freestyle rap as a teenager and young adult. But circumstances just didn't let me do anything serious with it. Just yesterday I thought to myself again how much I just want to rap. I just want to express myself and give love back to the community. And then I thought again, who wants to listen to me old man? Then I see the video and BOOM! The man has skills, flow and something to say. And he's at least as old as me or maybe older. That gives me courage and awakens my own hunger. That's why age shouldn't matter. Only the passion and the will count! 💪🏽

Great music is usually great because it's relatable. I think. But even if you don't relate exactly to someone else's story, the lyrics can still have just as much meaning to your own situation, struggles, and triumphs. For me, the line "Been through hell and I'll be damned if I climbed out just so I can jump back in." is exactly how I feel about my addiction to alcohol. When people question me, as you might imagine happens quite often, if I can and will stay sober for the long run, this line is my answer to that question.
