  • Here is a video made last year by Kathleen Morrison Youth Inclusion Worker at Leeds Gypsy and Traveller Exchange (GATE). Kathleen talks about how best to engage with young people from this community, example of good and bad practice and the difficulties they face.

    This video left me highly impressed by Ms. Morrison and her work to improve life for the Travellers as well as to improve relations between Travellers and the Settled community.

    I think this program is wonderful. No child should ever left behind. They all should be treated equal just as any other child. God Bless This Program. 🙏🏻❤️❤️

    When I was a little roma boy am 60yrs old my granddaughter doing this for me ,a council worker told my dad we had to go to school so we did we put in separate rooms with picture books a caretaker ,then at playtime we went after the other kids came in same at dinner given left overs found out it was so the school could get money and they still do we never went back
