I initially responded to my back strap video. I apologize. I love this recipe because it works with multiple cuts. My kids can’t get enough of it! Thanks for the comment.
Great minds think alike! I just said to my boys we need to pull some venison steaks and use mom’s stroganoff recipe. Looks like I may need to swap out and try this instead!
Just a lil note...I make venison bone broth from our deer. It really does make things a lil different, but delish, and with our gardening, we know where EVERYTHING comes from.
@@gagemurphy8373 hmmm. I never noticed that. Great catch. The 2 tablespoons for the onions is a great start. Depending on how much onion and mushroom you use, you might want to add more butter. Basically if they are drying out and not caramelizing, add more butter. I should have explained that. Thanks for pointing that out and thanks for watching!
I was a lil mad about the fridge doors being open for the intro...... but I quickly got over it after seeing your cooking skills 😂
Haha. I was trying a new intro. Not sure if I’ll keep doing it. Thanks for watching!!
@geminiridgeoutdoors5354 I'm making some right now, can't wait! Clearing out the freezer to make room for this year's deer
@@nork24 Good Luck!
I love this recipe because you can tweak the flavors how you like it. Doing Uncle Al proud.
Maybe we could have a challenge at deer camp. Call it a Stroganoff off. 🤷🏻♂️
That looks delicious. Thank you
It is! 😃. Hope you give it a try! Thanks for watching and the comment 😁

I doubt this competes with a mothers recipe. Those are hard to beat!
Could you substitute olive oil with pig lard?
@@NineCylinderDiesel omg…I don’t see why not! Sounds amazing! Thanks for watching.
