Is there a limit to how long of animations you can create? Procreate in limited in length because it is limited in layers. The app developer for RoughAnimator says it has unlimited layers, which should mean that the videos can be unlimited in length orrr?
Layers don’t translate to length in Rough Animator, since it’s an actual animation program. Procreate isn’t, it’s a drawing program with some super basic animation functionality tacked on by using layers as frames. I don’t think there’s a frame limit in Rough Animator, though.
In case anyone was wondering about that cycle tool, what you do is extend one frame out for as long as you want a previous amount of frames looped. Let’s say you have this ball animation that’s 8 frames long. If you wanted to loop it more than once, you’d put a blank frame at the end of the animation, lengthen it out for 8 frames, and set it to the last 8 frames forward. If you stretched it out to 16, it’s loop it twice, and so on.

chilly featherss there is something in the settings that allows you to turn off the stylus mode. I’m not sure if you’ve tried this but it may help bc the default with the app is for people that usually have styluses. Hope this helps

Definitely make sure you check your DPI for the canvas. If you can see the pixels when you draw increase the file size
