Same here. I was super disappointed watching the live reveal last September, so I did a custom order on my '23 HPP/HP, eruption green, A10. Traded my '21 for it. The ipod screens and that hideous rear end on the '24 turned me off, and after over a year and seeing them now in person, I still don't like the refresh.

Ford fan or not (I am) this is the best Mustang to come out of the Ford stable. I bought 4 new mustangs from 2000 to 2003 and love them all but especially the 03 Terminator anniv.edition. very powerful car but the 24 is more powerful without a supercharger, wow. The only reason I don't get one now at age 74 is my ss check won't allow me to pay for one. But oh how I would love to have a red get with performance package! Thanks Ford and don't stop bringing cars like this.
The Premium Pack vs the Performance Pack or both is better I guess?? But I have a 17 Base GT with a Performance Pack and love it. I could careless for all the other stuff. I listen to my car way more than the radio or leather seats.. A lot of people confuse the Performance Pack for the Premium too.. And other's think the Performance Pack is a waste of money but they couldn't be more wrong.. The 24 PP's come with oil and trans coolers', on top of the better rear, front springs are better, plus more bracing which helps with handling big time. Those screens inside mean nothing to older people who don't want them. Finally after a year of having powered cloth seats in my GT and leather heated in my Nissan, I found I like the softness of the cloth over the leather.. IDK they are very comfortable.. The gas mileage in local city driving is only 9.5 mpg. Thats horrible........The seats are 6 way maual and not very comfortable as im 6 ft 210 lbs solid.. So i paid 52 k for this car and im not sure how long ill keep it as the mileage sucks and the comfort level is dismal.........The verdict is still out if i would keep this car long term. Also i have the brembo brakes and parelli tires.........The high tech is excellent......
Just looked at the prices for the 2024 GT here in Australia- for the price of a base GT with the Recaros you can get a 2019 GT R-Spec or a 2022 Mach 1 with barely break in miles. Ford really shit the bed with the pricing on this gen, at least down here.
I researched the 2024 Mustang being sold in Australia. Due to noise and emissions regulations. The Australian Mustangs unlike the US versions uses recalibrated exhaust and exhaust manifolds to meet the Australian requirements along with less horsepower than the US models especially the Dark Horse. These changes also apply to the Australian Corvette Z06. Australian examples of the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 will be less powerful than their American counterparts, federal government documents show. It appears these changes resulted in higher prices
So ... my 2024 performance package premium, he mentioned ac control, I personally don't care for the ac ( seats) are always on high when I enter the car in the morning, maybe I'm old school, but I feel if I turn something off, it should stay in status you put it into, hopefully it's just a setting I haven't found yet
Dude, the difference between that and my base model with quad exhaust taking off is noticeable. im sure that car has the better suspension, though, just not worth the extra weight here.
The MT82 is not a problem. I have 60,000+ real world “enthusiast” driving miles on my 2018 GT Premium w/PP1. I've seen Mach 1 550s for sale near me for a similar price to a 650, and I've been very tempted to get it instead. but I'm being pulled more toward a 650 because of the technology in the interior, like wireless charging, wireless android auto, and the large screens. those things aren't in a 550, and it makes me want to get a 650 more than a 550. I also really like the way the 650 sounds with active exhaust, I think it's way better than the 550 v8.
