I read this book not scene it by tv though.

Michael, you are right. The bird _did_ look like Chirp from Peep in the Big Wide World, but the bird in this animation is yellow, not red.

Spiders have eight legs, not six. Birds don't roll their eggs like balls. Dogs don't honk horns. There wasn't a pig in the song and pigs don't flamenco dance. Cows don't have human feet, cows have hooves, and they don't wear shoes either. That horse has one creepy smile.

i've heard this song before in childhood. But i grew up with Fred penner's version. In fact, it was this song that i was hearing back in the day when i was being transported from victoria hospital in London to sick kids hospital in London. They were wheeling me into the hospital, & one of the paramedics stopped to turn the tape over for me which was nice of them. The reason i was transported was because i had just had a feeding tube put in.
For those who don't know Kaj Pindal actually worked in this as an animator! He also created Peep, Quack and Chirp, though, a prototype of him can be seen on one point.
