Black Bean, Chestnut and Pigtail Soup

  • [Ingredients]
    Black Beans 20g
    Euryale Ferox 20g
    Chestnut 3pcs
    Red Dates few pcs
    Sweet Date 1pc
    Ginger few slices
    Tangerine Peel 1pc
    Pig Tails 300g
    Carrot
    Wolfberry
    [Steps]
    Soak black beans in water for one hour, put them in a wok and fry them until the skin cracks open.
    Soak the tangerine peel with some water, and scrape away its sacs (lining) after it turns soft
    Blanch the pig tail with ginger, spring onions, rice wine, then rinse in running water
    Put all the ingredients into the stewing pot
    Add water until all the ingredients are submerged
    Double boil in medium heat for two hours
    Sprinkle some salt and a little wolfberry to taste
    Done
