I would have removed the whole top contraption and saved the pieces in the junk for future projects. Lengthened the legs a bit. It’s nice though. You do great work.
hi again, I would like to give you some advice on gluing. when you glue two boards you will need to use a lot more glue and atleast 3 clamps, yes there will be glue squezz out but a wet cloth will fix that, you will have more sucess this way. there are many youtubers who teach this, good luck, keep doing what you do, ill keep watching

@06:14: That was paint stripper, not thinner.
Hold your hammer nearer to the end of the shaft, let your wrist swivel, the hammer will do the work for you.
