I’ve got to be honest I was a bit disappointed when you said it wasn’t just his fault but her fault too because she didn’t leave. It’s harder than you can ever imagine to leave an abusive relationship. There’s manipulation, emotional control, the fear of what they can do if you try to end it and also the factor that they still probably have hope and love for that person. I get what you were trying to say but it’s 100% the abusers fault and the person on the receiving end is the victim.
It's very easy to cast judgement on others if you haven't been in their shoes, people don't always have the upbringing, education or means to escape such situations. One of the first things that happen in an abusive relationship is that the abuser will try to separate you from all lines of support, friends, family, it can happen very subtly over time many wouldn't notice. Before you know it your utterly reliant on him/her, and given the utter lack of support abuse victims they just tolerate it out of fear of ending up on the streets or worse. Empathy is key to understanding others :D). Dave is awesome. And for the record, there is help out there please seek it if your in anything like this situation.
From Wikipedia: A concept album, Psychodrama follows the narrative of a therapy session, primarily detailing the impact of Dave's elder brothers' prison convictions, along with his struggles with mental health, strained relationships, and the tough social conditions that confront poor black youths.
This song and many others on the album illustrates what an amazing job Dave’s mum did raising him. Quite a contrast to the stereotypes it would be easy to make considering his brother’s path in life.
You should react to shiros story part 1,2&3 by rapper rapman . It was a popular kinda “series“ in the uk and taught the whole uk you can’t trust anyone . This 3 part series reflects how the uk is like in general however this focuses on this one man called shiro and how his life kinda went down hill but I’m not going to spoil it . Definitely recommend.
Dope reaction. The story is fictional but created through Daves experiences and witnessing the experiences of the women in his life. Side not " How I Met My Ex" is from and older mixtape
If you like storytelling I would suggest reacting to cadet, he was definitely one of the best but he sadly passed away last year😔 some good ones are sl*t-freestyle (it’s not what you think), closure and stereotype!
It's easy for us to judge but when you're in that situation it doesn't seem like you have a choice. Your comment showed your age/experience, I wouldn't say you are insensitive
WILD!! 😭🤯 make sure to like the video!!
Btw Phycodrama is supposed to be listened in order🔥🙌🏾
React to Drama, it’s the final track on the album & sums up the album and mentions Lesley and the context of her to his life

Same
exactly what i was thinking
Domestic Violence is a real problem. Victim blaming is enabling it. Credit to Dave for highlighting it.
You missed the whole last verse. The Ruelle bit... also has his therapist talking.
I’m mad that you didn’t finish it the ending credit also the best part of the song🥺
Dave said this was based on his relatives. You should listen to all of Psycodrama- the last song explains the album in detail. Love the reactions
“I was thinking about those hospital bills, but then I remembered she’s British, must be nice”
YES, IT IS. That’s why we love our NHS.

What path did his brother take in life?
@@carysbleep8957 died
@@lucacoppola1719 nah swear he ended up in prison not dead
He kind of says in ‘drama’ (the final track) that Lesley is based on one of his relatives, but you’d assume he used different names to tell the story
YES this makes me so happy that you’ve reacted to this!
