Still love my original pioneer roof rack. Yeah its a little noisy, but by far the best addition to the usability of my vehicle.
Good on rhino for reassessing their products strengths and weaknesses in their quest for being the best.
When will the series 6 be available in the US?
Noise is the only thing you should worry about. What's the point in analysing drag when people generally put things on the roof rack which makes the drag studies totally redundant? Also only m6 channel nuts is wild. All old accessories totally useless. Good job 👍
Your previous generation product has excessive wind noise, especially when installed on the Hilux. Just a month after my purchase, a new model was released. Customers are compelled to buy the Rhino-Rack Wind Fairing , adding several hundred dollars to the cost. The ingenious aspect of the product design is that the Rooftop Rack itself feels quite affordable at a few hundred dollars. However, when you consider the cost of accessories and labor for installing it on the roof, these costs far exceed the Rooftop Rack itself. Now, you still can't use it without purchasing a series of additional accessories to secure your gear, and before you know it, Unknowingly, you find yourself having to pay thousands of dollars.
