      Glad it was helpful!
      Do you already have a platform or looking to get one?
      Also what vehicle do you have?

    What I see is now all my old fitting can’t be fitted because it’s been made to take only the new twist and turn system . Not very good that people have to buy all new fittings to use with the rack

    if there's no gaps on the top rails how do you slide eyelets in etc?

    • @roofracksgaloremedia
      @roofracksgaloremedia  Год назад +1

      Hey @Azazel518, we actually covered that at 2:15 in the video ;). Rhino have new mounting hardware they call Zwift Locs.

      Money, spend more money on zwif or you're SOL with older hardware.

    Hey, how do the rx100 legs fit this? Do you need to drill a hole to tighten them? I can't access the Allen head.

      They sure do! yes drilling is required. You can find the fitting instructions on the Rhino-Racks website. Just enter in your car details, select the fit. Click Instructions then click "View Pioneer Fitting chat" That PDF will tell you where and what size hole to drill :D. Hope this helps

    Can you remove the wind deflectors? Wanting to remove two of them

    • @roofracksgaloremedia
      @roofracksgaloremedia  Месяц назад

      The 6 series only has a single wind deflector and it clips into the front under cross bar, so very easy to add and remove the wind deflector.

    Can you use the old fittings on the outside channels if you take the corner caps off?

    • @roofracksgaloremedia
      @roofracksgaloremedia  6 месяцев назад

      Yes, you can still the old T-bolt mountind hardware on the outter slats if you remove the corner piece.

    Saw a 6 series today on a car today,is the back bone on the 6 different because it seemed to sit higher then the 5 I have on mine. Looked like you could fit a double row light bar under it, where mine sits flush with my rack.

      They use the same Backbone, But the 6 series is slimmer at the front than the 5 series. What car is your setup on?

      @roofracksgaloremedia have the 5 on a 2017 amarok, saw the 6 on a maybe 2020+ bt50 the guy let me have a look around it and it just seem to sit higher looked like it had plenty of room for double row light bar to sit under there easier.

      They use the same Spine, It probably looked like it sat higher because the front of the 6 series is much slimmer than the 5 series.
