I have three memories of ProStreet:
1) Driving a fully-upgraded Zonda at 200+ MPH down a straight and being passed by a Lancer Evolution.
2) Being punished for having good cars. Some late-game events are easier to win if you use a lower-class car instead of that supercar you scrimped and saved for.
3) RYAN COOPAH!
the only reason you were passed by a lancer evolution is because you did not upgrade the fucking cam timing in the engine settings on TUNE lmfao

yeah but i not play the story mode of this great game, that are hard, but i playing with a 100% complete savegame, with lamborghinis, ccx, nissan gt-r corvette z06 that the medium difficult car for me, and audi r8 is same of the corvette z06 but much faster, and i win every races

effisjens The first time i played the game i didnt care for hardness i just beat it. But now years later when i played it again with a r34 with only a wing an a stock bodykit. I made it as the famous purple big wing R34 you can find it in google. Anyways i get scared shitless when i play nevada too. But its a fun thrill witch new games lack. The whole game with the drag drift and speed events makes it amazing. Grip not so much.
They were always so long and grueling. They went on for miles and they never had any kind of entertainment factor.
I remember back in the day when all the CPU cars would kill themselves in speed events, but I still drove relatively slow just to avoid dying...

I dont remember this game being that hard. This was however the last NFS from the golden era of NFS games.
The fact I was able to beat these races when I was like 15 years old still astounds me to this day. I can't do it 7 years later today, so the fact I did boggles my mind...

I think it automatically totals it when you're upside down. It's happened to me aswell.
You mustn't hit anything while being upside down. Even a flying car part is enough to kill your car when it's upside down.
What ever you done if the car rolled upside down but rolled back on it’s wheels it’s still totaled don’t expect a miracle (except if you playing on a created race day which your car never totaled but can be damaged which cost damage markers)

An Anonymous Spectator i had trouble on the Ebisu Speed challenges and the Autobahnring speed challenges more then the Nevada ones at first but later when I got to Ryo’s first part of his championship race in Nevada that’s when I started sucking At the Nevada Speed Challenges So I now suck at the Autobahnring and Nevada Speed challenges in the game.

Potato Gamer After completing Dirt 3 on hard i gone into dirt rally. I was like...its gonna be easy,after 5 minutes i rage quited because i hated the game with a controller. Even with slow cars,when you lose control,its over. When i upgraded to a Group B lancia S4 i couldnt even controll its at straits and the AI is very hard too

Ah, the memories. I remember playing this game for hours. It was an amazing game. The sense of speed in this game is the best compared to many other racing games. The control on the keyboard is a nightmare in speed races, but still possible to beat in King difficulty

Btw, no matter what, thats my absolute favourite NFS. Why? Because this one has got a great atmosphere, with remarkable OST. Probably Black Box made the first Forza Horizon earlier than Turn10 did. Just in a very beta version to compare to the real Horizon.

This game was super easy for me because I had the wii version. It used the wii remotes motion like a steering wheel so all my movements were precise as can be.

Now that game is challenging, and no, the physics are not trash. They are not the best, but they are not as bad as everyone says.
Try playing it with a keyboard. It's grueling.
Most racing games are not ment to be played with a keyboard, but that is true. Shift 2 Unleashed is unplayable with a keyboard.
The last drift event on that game before getting the man's Mustang is torture. Still couldn't complete it
GameWolf Well from my experience, it's not unplayable, but it's still pretty hard and is also dependent on what car you drive and what tune you use. For example, the Skyline R32 is really easy for me to use on the keyboard, but the Bugatti Veyron tends to slide, and that's really difficult for me to control.
Oh yes, not all cars are good, thats so true. The first time i got good ammount of money i bought a stock Lamborghini Gallardo and upgraded it and tried to tune it, the understeer on that car was unbelievable, and on top of that i didnt even max out the car.

One of the greatest definetly, proper difficulty and look at that car list, one of the greatest too and the handling model was sublime, arcade but just in realistic enough with proper understeer and oversteer that make you LOSE speed and did I mention the drifting which which you had to properly countersteer and WASNT THE FASTEST WAY, in fact you where really going pretty damn slow than taking racing lines and braking properly just how it should be, this is the handling model I would love to see in a future NFS, and the lack of the autosculp feature in recent games really infuriates me

Cosmin29 well yeah it wasnt perfect but this and the run were my favorite handling models in the saga and I kinda liked the twichiness in Speed it made me feel some fear for crashing my car if I didnt had the "just right" amount of steering input and I think the drifting was really good

Finally, some love for ProStreet.
The GTRs are ridiculously weak in this game for Speed events, even with fine tuned stage 4 parts and manual transmissin + clutch.
The only car that would go fast but still very controllable for Speed events IMO is the Porsche 911 Turbo.

ProStreet is really hard when you go extremely fast. The faster you go, the harder and scary it gets. One small mistake and you’re done for. I love ProStreet so much. I love the game’s athmosphere, the sounds and soundtrack, customization, and RYAN COOPER!!!

My tip on this game: If you upgrade a power component, make sure you upgrade all power components. An Lv2 Engine gets bottlenecked by a Lv1 Drivetrain
The Nevada races are my weakness because I can't control the car's, it's almost impossible. Even though I already defeated the Kings and the game is at 39% 😂

LBPPlayer7 if they still have development files, and initial versions of the textures created in their full resolution before they compressed them for the game then it would be easy :v
most texture artists make the textures at the max resolution they will be displayed at, so a lot of textures will need to be remade
