    What I'd like to see in Dragon Quest Builders 3: ruclips.net/video/iAxumUTqAtA/видео.html

    The improvement between dqb1 and 2 was AMAZING and i think a 3rd game would allow them to improve themselves even more

    I still remember when they first announced the game, and I was already super excited! I got the Japanese version and played it for months, even though I didn't understand Japanese. Then I got the English version. The same thing happened when they released the second game, and I absolutely loved it! It was definitely better than the first game. But, you're right, there were too many limits in these games, especially with only 60npcs. I was really hoping they'd make a remaster for PS5 or update, but nothing happened. Now, I'm really hoping they'll make a third game, but we'll just have to wait and see. It's taking forever!

    • @LowestExpectations
      @LowestExpectations  7 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah, and now with Akira Toriyama's passing, it's hard to see it happening any time soon. Who knows? I would prefer they move on from DQB2 rather than update it as well. It would require too much work to make it into something that will keep players interested for a long time.

  • @coreylemme6189

    If they do make a third one I would like to see these things added or change:
    1. Able to have more people than the limit of 60 on each island.
    2. Unlimited rooms.
    3. After you beat the story your hunger meeter goes away.
    4. People on your islands should be to go anywhere on the island not just the area you sign them to.
    5. Slot machine, poker tables and other casino stuff so you can build casinos.
    6. Be able to build your own boat and drive it to all the islands without a showfer.
    7. Have magical spells
    That is what I would like to see.

    I want a DQB3 more than anything. Maybe even a DQB4, and have a different mode where you play as builder Psaro. And then have after builder Psaro story is over, you play as the good builder and revive the places that builder Psaro destroyed.
    But going back to DQB3. What DQB3 need is this: I remember in Chapter 2 in DQB2, the villagers say they hunt rabbit for meat. I would actually like for them to hunt instead of having on rely on just me for them to get the meat. I would like the option of fishing to not be DLC. I would love to see more food. And the biggest thing is that I want to see more options for designs. I am not creative, so I just make things anyone can do, but I have a hard time feeling how I want to make the designs. It was most apparent after Chapter 3, when I hated the basic design of the castle on my island. Also, make ice traps more useful, as I found them useless, unlike the tornado and fire traps.

    • @LowestExpectations
      @LowestExpectations  Год назад +1

      Ah, a Dragon Quest IV fan? I haven't played that one, just 3 and part of 8, but I know who Psaro is, and I can understand why people would want to see him again.
      Those are all good ideas for DQB3. I have a new video about what I'd like to see if they do make DQB3 if you haven't seen it yet, but I do mention how gathering meat is a tedious process, and that applies to some other materials in the game too. My idea was to have a system where NPCs go out and gather pretty much any material for you in exchange for money (which would also be a new system).

    • @joshcoy6748
      @joshcoy6748 Год назад

      One thought for your hunting idea, perhaps there should be villagers that either serve as hunters, or "heroes" that can be sent out into the world to gather items for you, probably for a price.

    • @JustLou08
      @JustLou08 2 месяца назад

      Villager vocations would easily solve your problem. Aside from the iconic ones like Paladin and Thief, villagers could have expanded professions like a hunter or an innkeeper. One of the gripes I have is having a miner (the buff dudes with the mask), actually doesn't do anything iirc. What if we get a prospector to replenish our ores, or a shepherd. There should also be a 'Jack of Alltrades' kinda character that will allow us and our villagers to change vocations.
      Pathing is also a nitpick of mine, since the villagers and monsters consider every block to be walkable... we could get a tool that will allow us to assign placed blocks to become paths that the villagers could walk around on without them ending up on rooftops...
      Unfortunately the director of both games already left, but I agree that this spinoff series has a ton of potential. I do hope Square would consider making a third game.

    Im a huge dragon quest fan, and i often consider builders 2 my favorite in the series despite being a spinoff. It has all the charm of the main series and the characters and story are so endearing. The building is perfect in 2 i think. If anything i feel like they could tweak the combat a bit, obviously its not the focus but its the only thing i can think of thats underwhelming in the game.

    • @LowestExpectations
      @LowestExpectations  10 месяцев назад +1

      As much as I love DQB2, there is a _LOT_ they can improve on, and I've made a video about it if you're interested. You are right about the combat though. That's one area that desperately needs improvement if they decide to make a DQB3.

  • @mattiaskollnitz9794
    @mattiaskollnitz9794 7 месяцев назад +3

    I think DQB3 should try to take inspiration from Builders 1 in terms of atmosphere and survival elements. DQB2 arguably has more boring combat and removes power from the player and instead gives some to Malroth NPC. All building mechanics were better in DQB2 and that together with first person mode was the real improvement. Imo they should also stick to DQ3 story and not make random stuff up like in DQB2. My twenty cents

    • @LowestExpectations
      @LowestExpectations  7 месяцев назад

      It doesn't really matter if they follow the story or not since it's a spin-off imo. I have another video full of the ideas I'd like to see in a DQB3, and most of them build upon stuff from 2 rather than 1. Biggest one for the combat being the introduction of different classes to play as, which would make things a lot more fun and replayable.

    I actually enjoyed the episodic formula of DQB1 better than the interconnected world of 2. Each world was like it's own unique, self-contained sand box. DQB2 was a bit too much. It felt less satisfying to build each world's town.

    As a Vita fan, DQB1 always felt like the Vita's opposite but equal analog to A Link Between Worlds: a sequel to a classic game from the 90s, but where ALBW created a much more non-linear variation on A Link to the Past's formula, DQB1 was a much more linear variation on Minecraft's formula.

    I played through DQB1 3 times, and got the platinum for it. I couldn't even make it past the first world in DQB2 because I was bored out of my skull. The same for FF7 Remake and Rebirth. Both sequels have people saying they're better than the first in every conceivable way, and yet the first in each series were so much more satisfying and complete-feeling to me. More things =\= better game. Keep it simple, we don't need endless complexities.

Minecraft has the 3D buildings but you are alone and often has to use your "imagination" of what that block surpose to look like and often has to rely on glitch, trick.
