It's interesting that Kevin uses Vince Lombardi quotes. I too use them, especially for my high school age son. John Wooden has a great one I tell my son often, "Failure to prepare is preparing to fail." Kevin and Pam done a wonderful job with their children, I even heard Jim Ross call Ross and Marshall "impressive human beings." Much love and respect to the entire Adkisson Family.

One of my favorite scenes from Iron Claw was the actor playing David messing with the actor playing Kevin ( Zach Effron ) while he was doing his promo. Was David funny like that in real life...lol 😂

@@thevonerichs while growing up I was in the hospita ALOT . lol.. so I would have the tv on when wrestling was on then when vcr's became a thing I had famly record all they could find for when I went into the hospital again.. while home laid up for months at a time I would watch the tapes over and over even warping a couple lol.. I had my leg amputated about the same time as David passed...I was then put in a full cast for a couple months.. Kerry came to defend the bel in San Antonio t on my 13th birthday May 12th right after he won it he noticed that I was front row and has crutches and a thigh high cast and made a point to come say Hi and then told me happy birthday .. I had been able to see all of the Von Erichs several times except Chris... all through small texas hill country venues.. they kept me sane and gave me something to look forward to every week whil elaid up or in the hospital.... they just make my life more bareable...

As i'm watching this podcast, enjoying kevin von erichs wisdom.. Soaking it in like a sponge..
There’s a lot to soak up for sure. Kevin is a wise man.
I grew up watching the Vonerich’s and it was great. My cousins and I would always end up on the trampoline wrestling after seeing the Vonerich’s on tv, I remember not wearing socks or shoes so I could be just like Kevin. We lived in Oklahoma and the Vonerich’s were kings in this area. We got to see Kerry in Oklahoma City and it was electric, the entire place was going crazy, I was 8 at the time and I remember trying to get to the ring to get his autograph, my older cousin was in front of me and she was plowing through people just to get to Kerry anyways we got to the stage and Kerry’s sweat dripped on her hand and she stopped yelled “Im never washing my hand again” what a fun childhood I had. Today I have a lot of the vonerich DVD’s and when I put them on me and my 3 boys end up on the trampoline wrestling just like it was when I was a kid. Thank you to the Vonerich Family for great memories and also for sharing the word of God.

This video was an absolute treat to watch. I am a long-time, huge fan of the Von Erich wrestling dynasty since the early 1980's. Looking forward to seeing more interviews of Kevin, Ross, and Marshall, and hoping Kevin comes out with his autobiography very soon. I'm also hoping to see more of Ross and Marshall in the AEW and ROH matches. What an incredible tag-team!

I wish I can meet you Kevin. My dad’s passing was back in 2021. Before was my uncle Mike who killed himself back in 1996. I have two/three uncles, the other uncle is a half brother to my uncles. My grandpa and grandma divorced but they were so heavy in my uncle’s and dad’s life. I know my grandpa was the rock because he was in the navy and did the flying around in a plane in the war. So when I heard all these wisdoms from Kevin, Ross, and Marshall. Y’all are wisdomized! Is that a word? 😂 you guys need to come out into this world because at 34, I am seeing how far gone this world is. When you lose a parent, you see how the gap of generations today are so entitled to treat their own parents so rudely! Gosh! Kevin! You are the father of the world with wisdom! I’m jelly of your boys and daughters! I had a good father figure up until my dad killed himself, but he didn’t and struggled to deal with stuff. Like my half sisters passing or my uncle passing by suicide. Then he took his own life. And I just knew, the tragedy. Hearing the words from you guys are so inspirational! I’m a spiritual person, and I believe in angels, and believing in heaven and afterlife after tragedy. I know your brothers/uncles are in the heavens having a beer/chilling/ and when time comes, I hope to be greeted after living life to the fullest, that hugs will be taken! I totally agree with the devil. And sadly my dad’s demons spoke to him. It’s hard because I’m 34, and single and scared to marry because I have no dad to walk me down an aisle! But I can hear all your wisdoms and take it to heart. I live for my angel of my kidney transplant. Giving that life from my two kidney donors, and how life is just living, loving, and having faith to know that I have angels gained up above. That I’m protected by angels and you guys have an army of angels protecting you guys and watching you in proud moments when you speak wisdom today ❤ love you guys! Huuuugs!
kevin reminds me in small ways of my father. that wisdom factor, me and him would spend hours just talking philosophy, and life. love it.

I started laughing when Kevin brought up the way his dad would wrestle. Because in his retirement match there’s a part where you can literally hear Fritz boot hit the top of King Kong bundy’s head. 😂😭 And mind you this is when bundy had a head full of hair

I watched all of the Von Ericks wrestle. I grew up in Dallas just over the bridge in Oak Cliff. My father was a plumber he did some plumbing for Fritz's home in Lake Dallas. I loved wrestling so much that I got into a girls boxing club. Mental illness should be discussed. I will be back to listen to your show. Signed your biggest friend!
