Lacey Von Erich, daughter of "The Texas Tornado" Kerry Von Erich, joins Steve this week at 317 Gimmick Street for a look back at the illustrious yet tragic history of the Von Erich family in World Class Championship Wrestling. Lacey shares stories of growing up in a family synonymous with pro wrestling dominance as well as her own entry into the business including her time in WWE developmental, Wrestlelicious and TNA. Lacey also recalls fond memories of the Dallas Sportatorium, working with Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair in Australia and her relationship with her uncle Kevin Von Erich.

Wow it's amazing how she tries to rationalize her dad's suicide. It can't be an easy thing to deal with at all & maybe doing that has given her comfort over the years. But I'm sorry, Kerry's suicide was completely cowardly. With Mike & Chris they struggled with their own demons as well but they didn't leave little kids behind. Kerry had 2 little girls & needed to take responsibility for his actions & go on living for them. It's not like he was looking at life in prison or anything close to that. Hell jail probably would've been the best thing for him. Get himself straightened out & lift everyday for a couple of years & he's looking at a career rebirth at 35 or 36 years old. I'm glad that both Lacy & her sister still went on to have great lives but their dad was pretty selfish in the end.

@@gravenewworld6521 cool, now go make a clinical observation about Kerry Von Erich taking his own life & abandoning his 2 young girls. The man wasn't looking at life in prison or anything close to that. Even the judge who signed his arrest warrant after he violated his probation was in disbelief that he killed himself over this, that's how minor it truly was. He called him a selfish man who took the coward's way out & many people feel the same way because they're not thinking as fanboys like all of his apologists. His family did him no favors either not really appreciating the seriousness of everything, which is shocking considering they had 2 previous suicides since 87.
