I think Mr. X pursuing the player is a great mechanic that maybe doesn’t translate as well to backseat gaming. I like that you’ll kind of forget about him when you get later in the game with long stretches without him, then he’ll just come up suddenly again to remind you that he’s still endlessly chasing you. It’s definitely some of the most heart-pounding moments of gameplay.

I know this is gonna get a bit of hate, but I kinda like that you dont play video games. I like how you have a spectator perspective. Its super refreshing and kinda nice to watch each video. There are so many game review channels out there but yours stands out because of this. I think it adds this extra layer of humor due to you being someone who is watching rather than taking part. Realizing you don't know RE2 made me get a stupid smile on my face, ngl. COUPLE THINGS THOUGH!
Mr. X's design is initially meant so he can catch people off guard. Since his whole purpose in Raccoon City is to eliminate any and all witnesses to Umbrella's shady shenanigans, most people would end up running from him if he looked like a stereotypical zombie. So instead, at first, he looks like a man--and by the time he gets close enough for someone to tell the difference, he can usually make short work of them.
Regarding Ada's dress--yeah okay, pretty ridiculous, but I *suspect* (and people will correct me if I'm somehow wrong) that Ada didn't initially realize she'd be heading into Raccoon City on this kind of mission. If she had--well, she did her best to cover up with the trench coat. Additionally, her chemistry with Leon here is *WAY* more believable than it was in the original.
Okay, last thing--the spray and the herbs. The herbs are specific to the region of Raccoon City, and are said to have had mysterious healing properties in the past, properties that can be amplified if the herbs are distilled into an aerosol form--the First Aid Spray.
Okay, that's all I got. Just a few RE fun facts that I found interesting while looking into this remake! I deeply enjoyed the video, and I *cannot* wait to see you two enjoy KH3. There will be tears!
Oh, P.S.; You want to talk about weird? How come the police station is set up like a friggin Zelda Dungeon?! Yeah yeah "converted museum" but that doesn't give any excuse for the weird keys and the new doors and the *everything else.*

As for Ada she was a spy we later in RE4 find out was working for Wesker. Between files and what is said to be cannon by Capcom we never really got an explanation for the red dress though the 90s mind set was typically the more fan service the better. I miss that. Anyways it's just part of her character nothing wrong with that though why they changed her look in RE6 is still a mystery. After all don't fix what's not broken.
And there is never morphine in a police station. Just saying. At least its not there long before moves.
About Ada, it only works if the explanation was in the game. Telling us that she didn't knew she was gonna be in a operation doesn't fix it. Same goes for Mr. X.

Understandable, if your like me, started at the beginning in '95. I love the series and don't see many probs with re2 remake. I just wish they didn't remove the ability kick/stomp downed zombies.
I feel like you would've enjoyed Claire's story more than Leon's. Instead of "First day on the force ft lingerie asian spy" it's "Big sister orphan maker saves the children". Also has less Buff Inspector Gadget sections in it.

Is that true? Cuz I'm playing Claire side B after Leon's campaign and if you go to a certain place in the wrong order you end up up being chased by Mr X for most of the station sigh*
you NEED to play claire's story from pt2 to get the true ending and fully understand everything in your stream. Don't leave it at the first playthrough there's so much more
Till you get the speed loader and the hi powered ammo upgrades then it's a pretty good gun.
Only problem I have with the quick draw army is how fast you can go through ammo but it was the same in the original.

Nintendo seal of quality. It's a good thing the game's pushed back. Better have it in a year or two and enjoy an instant classic than an okay experience in 6 months. We have all the Ubis, Activisions, EAs and all if we want to throw away money on expensive bullcrap.

If you ever get the chance, there's one review I'd really really suggest: Myst (along with its sequels). It's an old graphic adventure game that I can guarantee is really enjoyable to both play and watch someone else play (having done both), if you like that kind of stuff.
Okay i think this should be said. You grew pretty fast and are still new to all this stuff so i think its a fair share if you guys dont pressure yourself to do anything just because you feel like you need to do it because people expect you to. I´ve heard several stories of several youtubers who always had smth in mind like "i need to do this, even though i dont want to, because people are expecting a video or expecting such and such" anything like that wont be the right way. They all had lost their fun in doing so for a while and changed things as it sometimes was 2 late and they started getting unhappy with everything they made so far, because they pushed themselves to hard to do smth they dont want to, just because people they dont really know expect them to. Yes they all did it, because they loved it in the beginning, but as they grew big and had a weekly upload plan with things that didnt nearly took as much time as yours does (even though it still surely did take quite some time ^^). Before this gets to long and everybody tl:drs
You shouldnt push yourself to do anything for anybody here and everyone will be happy to see your stuff even on a 2 week or 1 month basis. Dont stress yourselfes 2 much because you want to fullfill some "expectations" people have. This will only mostly ruin your fun on doing such videos or even worse on playing video games and i dont think that this should happen. :)

Yeah. The likes of Doug Walker can make do on a tight schedule like this because they have their own studios and crews and most notably, YT is their full time job. Just one week per video of this high quality (rather than, just sitting back in a chair and talking without even a script) is *extremely* little time. Two weeks would be more like it or even three with some minor and less edit-demanding videos in between, a mini-series perhaps (maybe with the Boyfriend commenting on the last game or something?)?
What a useless rant. They're pumping out these videos because it generates money for them, not because they give a shit about pleasing you. Not a difficult concept to understand.

People still enjoy their content, its not like they do some mindless reaction stuff just to generate money with little to no effort!! They have effort, they are creative, do their own thing, and are funny and entertaining, they EARN it. I have actually never commented on a video on RUclips before, but I wanted to tell you just how much I enjoy yours. My girlfriend is not a big video game player, and she just started to enjoy it, when I recently played through God of War. From that moment on, I had to wait for her to be with me to play it, as she did not want to miss anything. But it’s not always easy to find games that she’ll enjoy, and we don’t have that much time to play. And then I discovered your channel (3 weeks ago), and I can’t help but laugh at your every comment and reaction, simply because they’re exactly the same as my girlfriend’s. And so, I wanted to thank you for the content, as you’re now helping us choose the games we play as a couple.

Zombies are the only classic monster that I'm still afraid of. Zombie apocalypse stories don't really get the fear of zombies right because the fear of that comes from a zombie apocalypse is the fear of having to change the way you live. The fear of a zombie is the fear of death and the fear of the unnatural. You're literally coming face-to-face with a dead person. 2 zombies or even a single zombie in a dark hallway will always be more terrifying than a horde of them wandering through the streets.

The cover mechanics was broken, the over the top action alienated the core fan base, the mechanics for cutting off limbs was broken, etc...
That’s not even covering the fact that the real ending to the game is locked behind a paywall!
Only people who care about mindless action liked that game.

DS3 is no DS1 or DS2.

drumrocka I disagree. It was advertised as being a horror game just like the first two were, yet it wasn’t scary, it was clearly all action.
Also the real ending was locked behind a pay wall as DLC!
Add to that the face that the strategic dismemberment mechanic was broken to the point that it no longer made a difference, and that when firing from behind cover you were more likely to hit the thing you were hiding behind then what you were aiming at.
After all that, the story itself sucked! Too much emphasis on the stupid love triangle and very little on how the out break was affecting humanity.
Remember they implied that this new out break was taking place in *every* colony AND on *Earth* at the same time.
So basically all of humanity is extinct by the end of the game.
No one should put money on EA.

I won't mind if you make 1 video every month or every 2 month. This gives you and your bf time to play the games thoroughly and with passion, and to edit the videos like you did before. Maybe with some songs, again. I love music.
