@@HeresGoodTravel can't wait your future videos from Romania. You must visit Brașov/Sibiu/Constanta or Oradea/Cluj Napoca..there's so many. Anyways keep it high and enjoy the ride ! Blessing
Welcome to our country! I hope you enjoy, just ask for Romanian traditional food, and just ask for: spicy, sweet, salt or.....ever you want, you will receive.
Thank you so much! The hospitality of the Romanian people blew us away. They were also very to the point and willing to help you. We only got to experience Bucharest but we will return to visit other cities as well. We have a few more videos in Bucharest to share as well!
@@HeresGoodTravelI'll be waiting for you in Corbu, Constanța. A small village near a wild beach. Amazing panoramic views, welcoming people, and great places to see.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We were met with similar hospitality while spending our time in Bucharest. It made us eager to explore this magnificent country further and tell all of our friends to visit. We had a couple Romanian friends in the states that recommended we add Bucharest to our list and we are forever grateful that we did!
If you ever decide to visit Romania again I recommend you trying these other dishes: - Bean soup in a bread bowl: This might sound weird but it does actually exist and it's delicious. Usually it also contains some sort of smoked meat. - Mici: Literally translates in to the ''Little Ones''. Somewhat similar to kebab, mici are a mix of different types of meats (usually pork and beef), lots of seasoning and a plus of bounciness. I've watched a lot of videos of people trying them and they seem to like it a lot. - Sarmale: Cabbage rolls. As the name says, they consist of cabbage rolls filled with a mix of ground meat, rice and tomato paste. With sour cream, sarmale is my personal favourite Romanian food. Usually mămăligă (polenta) is served with it as well. - Papanași: Fried doughnuts with cheese, sour cream and some sort of jam. If you ever have the chance I'll try cozonac too. It's a delicious Christmas sweet bread and usually contains nuts or rahat (Turkish delight). My favourite Romanian sweet food. When it comes to street food I'd recommend plăcintă (a type of ''pancakes'' that can have many fillings, usually potatoes or cheese) and șaormă (shawrma, but adapted to Romanian cuisine). Of course these are the ''essentials'', the Romanian cuisine is much wider than this. I listed you some of the more ''popular'' dishes and the ones foreigners seem to enjoy the most. If you visit again, I'd recommend visiting Brașov (a beautiful medieval mountain city), Sighișoara (one of the best preserved medieval cities in Europe where people still inhabit the place) and Peleș castle is a must, beautiful on the outside and astonishing on the inside. You could visit Bran Castle (also known as Dracula's castle), but people seem to be disappointed by it quite often as it's very tourist oriented and the castle in itself on the inside is meh. For a more ''pure Romanian'' experience you have Maramureș and Bucovina, both situated in the Northern part of the country. Full of picturesque churches, beautiful nature and they're considered to be the places where you can see Romanian culture at it's purest form. Speaking of nature, the whole Carpathian area is heaven if you're in to that. Many places to go for a hike on the mountains. The South-West part of the country near the Serbian border has the Danube boilers (Cazanele Dunării) with breathtaking views, often underrated by even Romanians themselves. And finally, continuing with the nature aspect you have Danube Delta, the best preserved delta in Europe where thousands of species of animals and plants live. Although, quick warning, people there use more boats than they use cars!
Thank you so much! I have saved this information in my notes for a future visit. We were close to taking a day trip as we were in Bucharest for 5 nights. We are planning a return trip as soon as possible. We do enjoy some more delicious Romanian food in our next couple videos and I actually think we try, and love the bean and smoked ham soup! We messed up and didn’t get it in a bread bowl which was our mistake. Thanks again for watching and for all of this great information! Can’t wait to follow your advice. Cheers!
You go to Maramures to see the purest form of Transylvanian culture and Bucovina is kinda a mix between Transylvanian and Moldovan culture, the south and southern Romanians aren’t even remotely similar to those places and cultures.
@@Qwerty1637iDan după cite știu eu Maramureș este regiune n-are nici o legătură cu Transilvania Sint din ferite alte tradiții și alt port popular 😊(scuzați scrisul)

Something to know when ordering in a Romanian restaurant: usually a dish contains only the main ingredient/component, you have to ask for any side dish or sauce that you want. For instance when you ordered the sausages they did not come with anything on the side because you were supposed to ask for whatever you wanted with them (e.g. french fries, polenta, salad, sauce, bread etc.) If a dish includes the side dishes as well, the menu almost always indicates that. Even then, most Romanians eat meat dishes with with a salad of some sort (either made of fresh vegetables or some pickles) - in adfition to the side dish. If you are not sure what goes with what, you may ask the waiter to recommend you something. Otherwise you will most likely end up ordering what we consider an incomplete dish which would seem dry or odd.
Amazing! This would’ve been so helpful to know, as someone else mentioned this advice as well. It was hard on our year of Tera wal because we were only in places for a short time and customs change all the time it was hard to keep up. We also always feel like a bother asking for things as we try to be kind and make it easy on the workers. But now that we know next time we will ask for more accompaniments. Thanks a million for watching our Journey
I totally loved watching this video and I really love you as a couple! You are both so lovely and kind, I just can't stop admiring you two! As a Romanian living in a less cultural city, you've made me wanna visit Bucharest too, you really gave us reasons to apreciate this country more... great video and even greater people!
Thank you so so kindly! We met some incredible people in Bucharest and tasted some really great food. We have a long list of spots to hit and foods to try the next time we visit Romania. Thanks a million for watching, happy adventures!
Thanks a million for taking the time to watch our journey! We have a couple more Bucharest videos still to post. The people, food and architecture were truly world class and we can’t wait to return to Romania!
I will leave here some traditional dishes you might want to try, first is "mici" which is a kind of sausages grilled without the casing, you have to eat them with mustard and a beer. Second dish is "sarmale" which is cabbage rolls filled with rice and meat. A traditional desert you should try is "papanasi" which is a kind of donut that is mixed with sweet cheese before frying and once fried is topped with cherry jam and sourcream. There are some more but I wont make such a long message XD enjoy your stay
We pretty much eat everything with mustard and beer🤣. We never realized how much beer we drink until posting these videos! We were able to try the Mici at a Christmas market and it was a highlight. The Papanasi is the biggest thing we are sad we did not get to try! We will return for the people, beauty and the food! Thanks a million for watching, we have a couple more Bucharest videos we are working on. Have a fantastic day!
Okay, so... not much of the food that you tasted was really Romanian (in the way it is considered in Romania), so I will try to provide some tips and tricks for your next encounter with our cuisine. 1. Streetfood pastries - Luca, Matei (from the apostle Matthew) and Georgi are the most popular pastry shops in Bucharest. The general consensus is that Luca is the better and more popular one. What you should consider when you visit them are the following: - The stuffed pretzels (covrigi umpluți, basically) that you should try: Luca Haiducesc (cream cheese, onions, ham), CovriLuca (the traditional pig in a blanket done Romanian style), Luca Picant (that you tried). There are also sweet stuffed pretzels that are also good. Always go for sour cherries as the stuffing (vișine), as it is the most traditional stuffing that you can get in Eastern Europe. - Pies/Shtrudels - It is available in multiple pastry shops but you must have Merdenea (which is basically filo pastry with multiple layers which is stuffed with cheese - these can be hit or miss, but it is 100% traditional and you must try it) and Plăcintă Dobrogeană (Dobrogean Style Pie - usually served by the slice, they are salty cheese pies made of thin filo dough but, compared to Merdenea, they focus more on the filling, than on the airy texture of the filo pastry) 2. Streetfood and shaorma (kebap meat in pita bread) style food - Here there are 3 styles of traditional Shaorma that can be tried: - Gyros, like you tried at Gyros Thessalonikis, which has a thicker bread and the yoghurt/cheese spread that you talked about; - Lebanese/Oriental style Shaorma which has more veggies and focuses on the fire grilled veg (of course, there are various meats that you can choose). I prefer this style as it is harder to find good restaurants like these in Bucharest. The best place you can find that does this style is Efendi Donner, which, ironically, is just a few steps from the Gyros Thessalonikis from the City Center that you visited; - Romanianized style shaorma - it is usually called "Shaorma cu de toate" and you can choose chicken, beef or mixed meats (but usually, beef for some reason in these joints is not as succulent and is very salty), so you should go for chicken. This shaorma cu de toate basically has tomatoes, onions, cabbage, french fries, pickles etc and comes with mayo, ketchup garlic sauce. 3. Soups - Here, you kinda missed the mark and someone should have guided you towards the traditional dishes and the right way to understand this. So: - Supă is usually sweet/not sour and comes in both creamy consistencies as well as clear (like broth); - Ciorbă is usually sour soup, which is runny (never creamy, but can be clear or opaque - due to the cream). Ciorbă basically can be soured with all kinds of ingredients (usually, this ingredient is called "borș" and is liquid from sour fruit or pickles). What you tried is not quite traditional. Moreover, the Gulaș is neither 100% traditional, nor it is a soup (more of a stew). What I recommend that you try next time are the following items: - Ciorbă de Perișoare (Meatball Soup); - Ciorbă de Burtă (Beeftripe Soup) - if you do not like the idea of tripe, you can always go for Ciorbă Rădăuțeană (replaces tripe with chicken), Ciorbă Ardelenească (replaces tripe with smoked pork) or Ciorbă de Burtă Falsă (False Tripe Soup - which is vegetarian and replaces beef tripe with strips of pleurotus mushrooms); - Ciorbă de Fasole cu Afumătură (Bean Soup with Smoked Pork); - Storceag (not a lot of restaurants have it, but it is basically Sturgeon Soup); Note: If you want soup (or basically any meal) to be spicy, the traditional way to rectify that is that you order a Green Chilly Pepper with all your meals. 4. Starters - always try aubergine salad (Salată de vinete), fish egg salad (Salată de icre). 5. Main courses and sides - Like someone said, if the meal does not specify that it comes with a side, you should always order one (Mămăligă (Polenta, but Romanians prefer it to be a bit harder), Cartofi prăjiți (French Fries), Cartofi natur (Oven/Boiled potatoes), Piure de cartofi (Mashed potatoes), Varză călită (Cooked cabbage) Salată de varză (Cabbage Salad), Murături (Pickles) etc. With regards to main courses, you have so many options and it is hard to name them all. Some dishes that come to mind are as follows: - Mixed grill - Basically a platter of barbequed meats - Mici (you can also try Mici at specialised street food vendors), Ceafă de porc (the neck part of the pork), Cotlet de porc (Porkchop), chicken breast, legs, sausages etc. - Ciulama de pui/ciuperci - Basically a dish with a flower based sauce that pairs perfectly with Mămăligă and has a primary protein either Chicken or Mushrooms. - Sarmale (can be either rolled in cabbage, which is the classic way, or in vine leafs which is less common, but still traditional); So yeah, these are just some of the main courses that you should try. 6. Desserts. The main suggestions are basically Papanași (Doughnuts with sour cream and jam) or Clătite (basically Crepes, stuffed with various options of jams - usually the ones in season are ideal). The jams that you should try are: Sour cherry (Vișine), Quince (Gutui), Apricots (Caise), Black Currant (Coacăze Negre), Green Walnuts (Nuci Verzi), Plums (Gem de Prune sau Magiun de Prune). So, there you have it.. Took a while to write this down, but you seemed to need a bit of advice on the matter..
This is INCREDIBLE! We can’t thank you enough for your time. We wish there was a better resource for information out there to make it easier when traveling. We will save it in our notes that we have saved for our travel bucket list. We can’t wait to return to Romania to explore outside of Bucharest and we are always hungry! What a thoughtful and well put together list, can’t thank you enough CHEERS!
Don't know why but your video made me miss Romania so much. The scenes when it was raining I could smell the rain in Bucuresti in October on a clean street. And the food looked amazing. While it looked like parmesan, Romanian hard/yellow cheese is so much different flavor-wise and I love the Romanian spin on all the dishes (even if people say aren't authentic). I also love Bucuresti and enjoy seeing people loving it
Thanks for watching! We didn’t know what to expect but Bucharest was amazing! The buildings and architecture were beautiful, the people were SO friendly and the food was incredible, we loved it. Thanks for the kind words, we can’t wait to go back and see the rest of Romania.

Lovely video guys but when was it filmed, it looks like Jan time? Bucharest really comes alive in may with tons of festivals, food trucks, and lots and lots things to do.
So we couldn’t keep up editing videos while we were traveling full time and ended up recording more than we were capable of putting out. We are trying to make 2 per week now that we have more time and a desk. We were in Bucharest in late November 2022 so we have a lot of work to do. We are planning on a return trip to Romania potentially in April and we will visit other cities outside of Bucharest. Although we may return there because we enjoyed it so much it would be cool to see some festivals.
Thank you so much for watching. We have added these dishes to our list for when we come back to Romania. We fell in love with Bucharest and met the best people! Can’t wait to see other cities as well. Cheers!
Hi everyone, I hope you enjoyed your stay in our city. Also, if you ever decide to return to Romania I also recommend Brasov, near Bran. There you will find some great traditional restaurants like La Ceasu Rău and Casa Avram Iancu (they also deliver to your hotel room) that serve some great Romanian traditional dishes like Ciorbă de perișoare (Meatball soup) - I recommend serving it with bread croutons and Mămăligă cu brânză, smântână și ou (Polenta with Cream, cheese and egg). Very high in calories types of food but incredibly tasty.
Amazing. We’ve been given so many great recommendations. We have made a list and added it to our future travel destinations and will be sure to save these restaurants and ideas. Thanks a million for watching and commenting, cheers!
I'm not 100% sure, but I think I bumped into you (literally) near the city center, when walking down the street with my wife through the crown. It was really hectic in that moment and I couldn't bring myself to say anything, but I do want to apologize now, for the accident... My mind was drifting and I didn't pay enough attention. I hope that didn't upset you... cheers!
That would never upset us! That’s amazing and cool! Thanks a million for watching our journey through Bucharest! We were probably lost ad taking in the beauty.
We were in Bucharest in November. We traveled for an entire year and found that we recorded more than we were able to keep up with editing while traveling every couple days. We were on a budget so we were on busses and trains and budget airlines so editing while moving wasn’t an option. Thank you so much for watching. Not in this video but we needed up having it at a Christmas market, phenomenal! We did not get to try the cabbage rolls while we were there but cannot wait to return. Romania was so beautiful we want to explore much further.
I would love to see a video with some differences between America and Romania after your experiences. Also yes you did try Romanian food but traditional not so much. You need to try some "sarmale", "mici", "ciulama", "piftie", "ciorba radauteana", "ciorba de burta". For desserts "papanasi", "placinta cu branza", "savarina". Drinks are also necessary "palinca", "visinata", "tuica". You should also visit more places in Romania like Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Brasov, Iasi and many more since they put a twist on traditional cuisine and the architecture and style are unique to each one.
Amazing! Thank you for these great recommendations. We were able to try Palinka but didn’t record it. We have a long list of foods to try the next time we visit. Technically speaking, none of those foods are 100% Romanian. If you want the real Romanian food experience, you should try the following: 1. Mici - You can find them at the Obor market 2. Sarmale 3. Papanasi - It's a desert, but order them when you order the main dish because they're always made fresh and it takes around 20-30 minutes for the waiter to bring them to you. :)
We got to try Mici at a Christmas market and it was delicious. But weren’t able to have the other two while visiting. Romania was so beautiful we can’t wait to return to explore more of it and eat more delicious food!

😂 It is hard eating all the food when traveling. We definitely put some weight on during our trip. We were able to walk a ton exploring cities we love exploring on foot because you can run into cool things you never knew existed.
We thought the same thing. Americans (we think) don’t travel international quite as much and when they do they go for beach holliday locations. We will promote Romania to our friends so much, we had the BEST time there. We can’t wait to return and visit some more cities. Thank you for watching🙌🙌
There are different words for soup in Romanian. Ciorba means a sour soup, soup means a more liquidy soup usually with some sort of pasta or vegetables.
Ahhh we did think that was the name for just soup in general! Thanks so much. We want to go back and try the sour soup with chicken, we could see why it’s such a hit.
We actually have something called cornbread in America, sometimes they add cheese and peppers too it, it’s tasty. And we found the polenta to be different in Romania vs the bit we tried in Italy. It was more dense and had smaller grains. It was such a good accompaniment to our dishes. Wish we had more of it here in America.
If you really want to try traditional food in Romania, go to Different regions like Bucovina, Oltenia, Dobrogea... Choose villages and spend time with locals and eat at their homes. That would really bring you into the real Romanian authentic meals.
Without a doubt! We saved up money to travel for one year which is how we ended up in Bucharest. We will return to Romania to explore smaller towns. The people were so kind to us, the food was delicious and it was beautiful! Have a fantastic day!

FYI...You will never find hot sauce, or hot spices in any REAL gyros, or any greek food for that matter...or any mediteranean food. Thank you so much! You’re the first person who tell us how it’s pronounced! We were just talking about this place a couple days ago. Can’t wait to return to Romania and see other cities!
ciorba is not exactly soup. Soup in Romania is "supa". The difference between the two is that ciorba has a lot of vegetables in it while soups are very light, many times as a thin cream, sometimes almost watery with "galusti". What you ate, Alyssa, is not ciorba, is soup. What Brandon had looks closer to ciorba but still is not the most traditional kind.
Nope. Ciorba is sour/salty and comes in both a creamy and clear consistencies, while Supă/Soup is most of the times sweet/not sour and can come in both consistencies.
Amazing. We cannot wait to return to Romania to eat our way around your beautiful country! We had such an amazing time and we’re met with patience and kindness everywhere we went. Can’t wait to go back😍
@@ReaperChi3f that can be a difference but its not always true. Many "ciorba"'s have indeed something sour, but not all, for example everything what's considered "a la grec' ". Moreover, the sour in most cases is optional, depending on your taste. Regarding salt, this is really not true, salt is present always in ciorba and soups as well. As for consistency I never heard of creamy ciorba, unless you add a lot of bread in eat just before you eat it. That doesn't mean it is cooked with bread. If it's creamy when cooked, it's not ciorba anymore, is tocana or something else.

Thank you so much! The hospitality of the Romanian people blew us away. They were also very to the point and willing to help you. We only got to experience Bucharest but we will return to visit other cities as well. We have a few more videos in Bucharest to share as well!
@@HeresGoodTravel GOD bless us, all!
Thankyou for your videos I'm going to Bucharest soon and I now cannot wait! I've subscribed 😊
@@HeresGoodTravelI'll be waiting for you in Corbu, Constanța. A small village near a wild beach. Amazing panoramic views, welcoming people, and great places to see.
what a lovely couple x thank you for showing us romania x
yall are so adorable x
Thank you so much for your kind words! We were met with similar hospitality while spending our time in Bucharest. It made us eager to explore this magnificent country further and tell all of our friends to visit. We had a couple Romanian friends in the states that recommended we add Bucharest to our list and we are forever grateful that we did!
If you ever decide to visit Romania again I recommend you trying these other dishes:
- Bean soup in a bread bowl: This might sound weird but it does actually exist and it's delicious.

For instance when you ordered the sausages they did not come with anything on the side because you were supposed to ask for whatever you wanted with them (e.g. french fries, polenta, salad, sauce, bread etc.)
If a dish includes the side dishes as well, the menu almost always indicates that.
This is awesome! You guys have been opening my eyes to a lot of destinations I didn’t know I needed on my bucket list.

Thanks a million for watching, happy adventures!
welcome and hope u enjoy it here! glad u visiting
What you should consider when you visit them are the following:
- The stuffed pretzels (covrigi umpluți, basically) that you should try: Luca Haiducesc (cream cheese, onions, ham), CovriLuca (the traditional pig in a blanket done Romanian style), Luca Picant (that you tried). There are also sweet stuffed pretzels that are also good. Always go for sour cherries as the stuffing (vișine), as it is the most traditional stuffing that you can get in Eastern Europe.
- Pies/Shtrudels - It is available in multiple pastry shops but you must have Merdenea (which is basically filo pastry with multiple layers which is stuffed with cheese - these can be hit or miss, but it is 100% traditional and you must try it) and Plăcintă Dobrogeană (Dobrogean Style Pie - usually served by the slice, they are salty cheese pies made of thin filo dough but, compared to Merdenea, they focus more on the filling, than on the airy texture of the filo pastry)
2. Streetfood and shaorma (kebap meat in pita bread) style food - Here there are 3 styles of traditional Shaorma that can be tried:
- Gyros, like you tried at Gyros Thessalonikis, which has a thicker bread and the yoghurt/cheese spread that you talked about;
- Lebanese/Oriental style Shaorma which has more veggies and focuses on the fire grilled veg (of course, there are various meats that you can choose). I prefer this style as it is harder to find good restaurants like these in Bucharest. The best place you can find that does this style is Efendi Donner, which, ironically, is just a few steps from the Gyros Thessalonikis from the City Center that you visited;
- Romanianized style shaorma - it is usually called "Shaorma cu de toate" and you can choose chicken, beef or mixed meats (but usually, beef for some reason in these joints is not as succulent and is very salty), so you should go for chicken.
So:
- Supă is usually sweet/not sour and comes in both creamy consistencies as well as clear (like broth);
- Ciorbă is usually sour soup, which is runny (never creamy, but can be clear or opaque - due to the cream).
What I recommend that you try next time are the following items:
- Ciorbă de Perișoare (Meatball Soup);
- Ciorbă de Burtă (Beeftripe Soup) - if you do not like the idea of tripe, you can always go for Ciorbă Rădăuțeană (replaces tripe with chicken), Ciorbă Ardelenească (replaces tripe with smoked pork) or Ciorbă de Burtă Falsă (False Tripe Soup - which is vegetarian and replaces beef tripe with strips of pleurotus mushrooms);
- Ciorbă de Fasole cu Afumătură (Bean Soup with Smoked Pork);
- Storceag (not a lot of restaurants have it, but it is basically Sturgeon Soup);
Note: If you want soup (or basically any meal) to be spicy, the traditional way to rectify that is that you order a Green Chilly Pepper with all your meals.
Some dishes that come to mind are as follows:
- Mixed grill - Basically a platter of barbequed meats - Mici (you can also try Mici at specialised street food vendors), Ceafă de porc (the neck part of the pork), Cotlet de porc (Porkchop), chicken breast, legs, sausages etc.
- Ciulama de pui/ciuperci - Basically a dish with a flower based sauce that pairs perfectly with Mămăligă and has a primary protein either Chicken or Mushrooms.
- Sarmale (can be either rolled in cabbage, which is the classic way, or in vine leafs which is less common, but still traditional);
So yeah, these are just some of the main courses that you should try.

Technically speaking, none of those foods are 100% Romanian.
If you want the real Romanian food experience, you should try the following:
1. Mici - You can find them at the Obor market
2. Sarmale
3. Papanasi - It's a desert, but order them when you order the main dish because they're always made fresh and it takes around 20-30 minutes for the waiter to bring them to you. :)

Oh wow these look delicious
Thanks! Bucharest was an incredible vibrant city. So much good food to eat in the Old Town area alone. Thanks for taking the time to watch🤙
That corn bread is called Mamaliga.
Not Polenta..
It's called polenta in english actually.
That makes sense, thanks for the clarification
Oh, I didn't knew it is called like that in English so thank you for the clarification 😊.

Thanks a million for watching! We truly e joyed our time in Bucharest and can’t wait to return to visit more of this beautiful country! We have at least one more video coming from there before going to Poland.
Bucharest. Who knew? Love a good gyro.
The food was great, the people were awesome and the old town was stunning!
I love Bucharest 👍👍
Such a beautiful place, one of the most beautiful old town districts on earth. We met amazing people, tasted delicious food and can’t wait to go back!
Luca is the BEST❤
We grabbed a snack from there almost every morning! Thanks for watching!
Have you try Papanasi? Its no1 romanian desert!! If you didnt, try it!!
Holy cow!!! We just googled this dish and are devastated we didn’t get to give this a try!! It looks absolutely incredible, when we return to Romania to explore other cities we will put this dessert at the very top of our list. Thanks for the tasty recommendation and for taking the time to watch our video!
@@HeresGoodTravel do so!! Also, I ve seen you like soups aaaaaalot!:)) Have you tried: Rădăuțeană Soup?:)
So we have some more Bucharest videos to post and we tried this sour creamy soup with tripe in it and did not care for it. I think I would’ve liked it if I had gotten just the chicken version I would’ve enjoyed it but with the intestine it was intense! Don’t hate us when we post the video . We tried to be adventurous but the texture of the tripe was too much. We have had tripe in Mexican food and in hungry and keep giving it a chance, maybe one day we will come around to it! Stay tuned for that video soon!
@@HeresGoodTravel I get You...me as a fellow Romanian I cant eat that intestine soup...but Rădăuțeană Soup I LOVE and I highly recommend if you didnt taste it already.
The employee at the counter was like “are you sure you want this”. And then he laughed at me when I only got through half of the bowl🤣
bucatarul cel dibaci... the best cheff😄
🤣amazing! We shouldn’t have even tried to pronounce it. Delicious though
I hope you enjoyed you're time in Our Country and I hope you liked our Tradicional foods :D
We had an incredible time! And tasted some delicious foods. We have a long list of foods to try the next time we visit!
Welcome
Thank you so much! What a magnificent place to visit. We can’t wait to return to Romania and explore some other cities.
Should try papanași bro🎉🎉❤😂
Dude, we looked this up🤯. We totally blew it missing out on it. We are going to return to visit other Romanian cities and eat all the things we missed. We have such a long list but this is number 1!
welcome to Europe, greetings from Sweden
Thank you so much! We visit Stockholm in one of our next videos! We had an incredible time there and spend American Thanksgiving eating a smorgasbord! Sweden was lovely, pricy so we couldn’t stay as long as we would’ve liked on such a small budget.
@@HeresGoodTravel wow!! That's awesome! Glad you were able to visit Stockholm for a bit, I'm from there actually ! :DDD
And yeah compared to Romania for example, I think it's quite expensive xD
@@HeresGoodTravel The food you tried out in Romania looked delicious, I hope I can try it someday! People seem to be friendly there too
This is where your Great Grandpa Silzer was born.
Incredible I didn’t know! Bucharest had one of the most beautiful old town’s of anywhere we visit. The people were hospitable, funny and didn’t take any shit! We fell in love with Romania
How much is the ticket to go to romania ????
Our flights were on Ryanair from Malta for less than $30 US! It was really affordable and just an incredible place! We can’t wait to go back and visit different Romanian cities!
I’m so confused how people rate the spice from peppers, we just look at their color and we know if is ok or not 😂 ❤️🇷🇴 happy you loved our food
Thank you so much! Does that pepper have a name? It was different than ones we’ve tried before. It was a good compliment to that rich broth. We can’t wait to return to Romania to visit other cities and try some of the foods we missed. The people were amazing, the food was terrific and the architecture was beautiful! Thanks a million for watching, have a great day!
@@HeresGoodTravel I don’t really know the names of them, they are red, yellow, green, violet, dark red, half green half yellow. Depending on the color and form we know if they are very spicy or moderate. Also the most spicy pepper in the world was created in Romanian 2 years ago but I don’t know the name of it. You can try to cook your favorite foods let us know if you need recipes and we will help ❤️
Welcome!🎉
Thanks a million we had such a fun experience in Bucharest!
You are invited to..... Brașov !!! You will not regret it !!!
We have heard so many great things about it. We are mapping out our next travel adventure and are dying to see more of beautiful Romania! Cheers!
Looks like Brandon Burke, guy who closed out the college world series.
Had to google…. Spitting image
Very nice video
Thank you for your kind words! We are working hard to get better at story telling! It’s been a fantastic ride!
Pofta buna 💕
Thank you so much! Can’t wait to see more of Romania!
We put love in our shawarmas
They were really amazing! We love trying foods we love back home to see what’s similar or different from the US. Romania does it right💪
bucatarasul cel dibaci means the skillful little chef/cook
Amazing! Thank you. They truly were! What a fantastic place.
Welcome in Romania! 😍
Thank you so much, we were greeted with open arms. It was beautiful, the people were amazing and the food was delicious! Thanks a million for watching
@@HeresGoodTravel This is the spirit of Romania! All the best for you!
FYI...You will never find hot sauce, or hot spices in any REAL gyros, or any greek food for that matter...or any mediteranean food. Usually their foods are light, with lean meat and packed with veggies that are supposed to hydrate you, since the area is too hot especially in the summer and, go figure, if they ate hot spices, it would make them sweat even more. I know, I know...Mexico is doing it wrong...but then again, wtf do they know about healthy food? Anyway, I hope u enjoyed, despite the crappy weather.
🤣 we actually enjoyed the rain and really had an amazingly memorable time in Bucharest. Can’t wait to return to Romania and explore even more cities! Thanks a million for watching.
Guys go to see how they leave and try the food cooked in the house not for the restaurant, then you will understand the Romanian food !
That would be a dream come true! The people we met were so eager to share with us. We are forever grateful for our time in Bucharest
@@HeresGoodTravel I will like you guys to go and explore more and it will be great if someone traditional people will invite you in and Cooke food you the real Romanian food . I wish a great trip wherever you will go guys ♥️
We call that polenta, Măliga :=))) Ciorba or borsh :=))
Thanks for the information. We were able to try that at a Romanian restaurant we went to the previous day and quite liked it. It was thicker than the polenta that we had in Italy, really tasty with the rest of our food. The food we had in Bucharest was really amazing.
OK.😜
Thanks for watching! So many more delicious Romanian dishes to try!
Buchares looks like a beautiful rabbit hole 😂😂😂🕳️🐰😂😂😂with unique people 😂😂😂freeks of nature 😂😂😂
Our favorite part of any big city is the people watching for sure!
you had to try mici and sarmale😅😅😅😅
We almost had Mici but they were sold out. We have a ton of things to try that we’ve added to our list. We promise to film them all next time we visit Romania. Cheers!
Bucătărasul cel dibaci, is pronounced "Boo-cuh-tuh-rashwool thchel dibatch". It means "The skilled little cook".
I didn't learn much about Bucharest from you. The main idea that I conveyed is how you can live with a hedgehog in your pocket.
Thanks! Glad you could get something out of it!
👍
Thanks a million for watching! We were blown away by the hospitality and humor of the Romanian people! We can’t wait to explore more Rolf Romania our next visit and eat so much more food!
If you want to try Romanian food, go to Sibiu or Timisoara
Thank you kindly for the recommendations, we will be sure to add them to our list.
