In Canada, I have never seen asymmetrical rear doors on a van. Cool idea though! GM did sell their Astro and Safari minivans, a while back now, with an option for three rear doors. The top half opened vertically as liftback, and the two bottom doors opened to the sides, dutch doors as it were.

After driving Kangoo in harsh conditions I know why Mercedes Benz chose Renault for cooperation. Very dependable vehicle you can rely on.
Mercedes just stopped their cooperation with Renault. So the new Mercedes a class , b class , cla , gla , glb will finally get Mercedes engine when they get their facelift
@@JimmyVelentzas Nobody ever noticed Renault engines in MB cars or PSA engines in Jaguar or Volvo. If they stopped cooperation that is because of completely different reasons. That is how industry works.
That's a shame. Nowadays Renault engines are more reliable than any german engine.

I want to buy this car right now from Germany😍
Been searching the internet for over a year to get info on this. Saw some spy shots and now we can actually see the van. At least the inside is better than the last one - it could not have been worse lol. I hoped it would be a more stylish to be honest. Perhaps some body kit and exterior styling will help.
I enjoyed watching the Video Preview. I prefer Models that feature full body colour and the MBUX Infotainment System
sort of looks like the windscreen and upper door/window surrounds of the Seat Altea ?
Please Mercedes, for the LWB version, offer 2+2+2 version! I want two comfy captain seats for 2nd row instead of three bench seats!
Hopefully they haven’t built it from toilet roll paper this time. Our works Mercedes van was horrific and just dissolved in the rain. Rust absolutely everywhere.

@@Fekillix i wish. Im a independent Mb specialist and we drive a Berlingo service van. For towing we have a sprinter but im again disappointed in the Citan. Looks like the Berlingo will be replaced again by another Berlingo and not the citan.

Hi Thomas, at 6:20 you talk about the 7-speed DCT. When I am trying to spec out a car I can not choose it. And I was unable to find any information about it. Do you know anything about it?

Beautiful Small Van! So Premium looking! Like a Proper Mercedes with actual Build Quality! The last one so soo plasticy, you could mistake it for a toy car! This one looks so good. Can it come with a digital drivers display like the A Class? I think this is the S Class of Small Vans!😂

Kind of. The upcoming T-Class and EQT are Kangoo, this is Renault Express, the cheaper version of the Kangoo.
They gave it the face of the S class! Makes the already conservative S look more generic.
All new Mercedes have that face. It's just the new design of the generation.

I knew Mercedes had dropped their design department all together but this... Oh man... Fiat Multipla all over again 🤢 I just can not understand why Mercedes suddenly makes such bitterly ugly cars. And that people actually buy them. If I had Mercedes as company cars this new Citan would really make me switch brands. You can't pull up at a customer and expect them to take you serious when you show up in such a disgusting looking car.
