i have one too man i love it . i have had it for about 8 months now maybe even a year.. ive always used snap on scanners but this is my first new and up to date one. im still learning new things about it! its defenilty well worth the money. thanks for sharing the video my man!
Good video. I'm still using and old SnapOn Modis, with 4 channel scope that is no longer supported, last update was in 2016. I have other scanners I use for newer vehicles in the shop As you stated, the strength is in the guided component test info. Wish SO would include topology in their scanners and I might consider a newer one
I have found that no one scanner will do it all which -like most guys that work on stuff- you end up with 4 or more scan tools. However for someone who is new to diagnostic work the Snap-On tools are superior in ease of use and the support that's offered. there will always be cheaper variants of any tool but la person has to determine what's important to them the most for some people money (the initial cost) is a non issue compared to ease of use and support. Thanks for watching!
Yes, Snapon tools will do a lot But you will find once you get into them there’s a lot of things that will not. they get a little bit fussy about it. They don’t mind charging you for the updates Most of their automotive scan tools won’t let you work on trucks over 4500 series so if you’re doing motorhomes you get a heavy duty for the diesels, which is totally separate like all other tools good luck with the tool wish you all the best. I do believe snap on makes the best fastener removal tools in the market. And naturally, with that said, he will need a lot of.$$$$$
thanks for watching I don't work on chassis for motorhomes anymore after leaving dealership, but if I did (regardless of the OEM of the scanner) I would buy a CV scanner just for that the DLC is different on those trucks/ motorhomes (diesel pushers) I have found that no one scanner will do it all, which like most guys that work on stuff you end up with 4 or more scan tools.
Well correction my man snap-on does not have pinouts for all cars.. in fact it's quite disappointing the amount of vehicles that it does not have pinouts for

Snap on is not where it’s at anymore fr so many cheaper options just as good if not better

Great video do you know if they work great on sprinters??
Not sure
Snapon training videos are not the best that's for sure . The guy they have teaching them puts me to sleep . horrible
thanks for watching
I just traded in my Modis for one
Do you think there Is a big difference between the two?
I’m not sure besides the component data 📈 features
The scan tools and tq wrenches are california products
Sweet
Snap on is ridiculously priced for what they do.
I do not disagree

The scope is pathetic.
