    I've been running a Triran D10 on subscription. Love subscription. It does save about 20% on yearly updates.

    I dont think you give your self enough credit, for what your really capable of.... You humble yourself at that, and make no claims of being the best. Those are true signs of a real leader.

    Great video. I'm a diy family mechanic. I fix my family's 30+ fleet. Time to get a scan tool, what would you recommend? Mostly Acuras and Lexus with a few Germans. It must have bidirectional control and higher end features. OBD2 only

      Autel is probably your best bet 909 is good. Or topdon Phoenix plus is good as well but pretty sure they are out of stock now. Make sure if you buy an autel it’s an US version if you are in USA or you won’t get any help or support from autel.

    Is there one that can program modules and keys?

    • @Enrightauto
      @Enrightauto  9 месяцев назад

      Yes but it’s going to depend on the vehicle. The im608 is the best for keys and has built in diagnostic capabilities

    Might be a stupid question, but is there a scanner manufacturer that offers free updates? I'd like to own a nice scanner but the yearly subscription costs to keep your scanner updated seems to be a bit ridiculous. I guess if you're running a busy shop and you have lots of money coming in, it would seem worthwhile. I'm just running a RUclips channel where I'd need the ability of a scan tool every so often.

    • @Enrightauto
      @Enrightauto  2 года назад +1

      No unfortunately. Topdon gives you the first 2 years free. A lot of the features on specific scan tools still work even if not updated especially if you aren’t working on new vehicles

    • @Enrightauto
      @Enrightauto  2 года назад

      Yes you lose some functions. I’ve found that out on all higher end scan tools thus far. Such as autel snap on Matco, mac they all limit you slightly if not updated. It’s sucks

    • @Enrightauto

    Not watching , no one gives a damn about how you like to pay and not pay very frustrating listening how you go on and on about payments instead of what the video is to be about. Ill keep on my search if i stay with snap on software or buy Autel!
