Words of wisdom Brian. I am your age, 3 young daughters and finally got the boy who is 2. I haven’t properly rode on a track in 25 years - but am so tempted to get back into it with my son. Nothing compares to those memories of my dad taking me to Milford riders circa 1990s. Injuries be damned!
I would say do it . Riding with my dad are some of my favorite memories. He bought me a ttr 50 at the age of 2 and I learned to ride a dirt bike without training wheels before I learned how to ride a bicycle. My dad raced when I was younger because he was still in his early 20s . We stopped riding all the time when all of our family sold their stuff because it was starting to get too expensive to go riding because we barely went. Around the age of 15 my dad got me a wr250f . We started riding again and I was so excited to start riding again. As of now I’m 20 years old and have sold my bike and now live 1,000 miles away from my parents. Those memories are still precious to me.
Yea. That’s a great father right there, I grew up in Connecticut trail riding. My father was always working bringing the money home and got me and my bro a garage full of bikes. My mom would take us every weekend on Sunday and rip bike with the boys.
@@scottdeleo sounds like you have a great dad . I’ve always wanted to visit Connecticut. I have not been to any of the states on the east coast above Tennessee.
Brian your sense of humour is hilarious. Having a really respectful talk about what is good parenting,, while Huckson i s just wide open and sending it in the background every 5 seconds. That was gold. Thanks for making us smile. Love ya work
Hudson spending time with his father at the training facility is definitely fun to watch, no doubt. I absolutely agree with everything Brian had to say in this video, especially regarding how broken bones do heal, while there’s other body parts that wouldn’t heal in the case of injuries. Brian knows what he’s talking about, which is why I like saying he’s “preaching to the choir.” Us fans can never get enough of Brian’s powerful words in every video, along with the strong work ethic that all Deegan family members show. 💪✊🔥
As a 27 year old man with no kids, i appreciate when you break down what it takes to not only be a man but a family man. I feel like it doesn’t get talked about enough.
As a 60 year old man with no kids, I wish I would have "met with the minds" with a gal and started a good family around the age of 27. I never made much money in non union manufacturing with 3 college related degrees because of the outsourcing to communism that started when I did in the 80's. By the time I started my own business (because of MX), that finally took off after a few years still working full time, I was then too old to start a family. Now, I am a bit of a lonely bitter man, with only my business. But it is still better than being employed and marrying the wrong person, (which happens a to because we don't meet with the minds. We have to have one that works well enough ourselves, to recognize what we fall in love with. Humans can think, and it is the values and virtues of the other that we fall in love with. Good values and virtues are evaporating from our society. Be smarter than I was. It sucks knowing your family line ends with you.
Great comment on Dads, Brian. My wife knows exactly what you are talking about too. Today I took my son to Academy to look at guns. Then we changed out a brake caliper and bled the brakes on my old car. He’s 22 and still loves hanging out with Dad. Great times. And, as you said, today is gone so quickly. You are doing a good job with Huck
Brian, my man! You look like you're really feeling the bike these days and having fun. I'm close to 30 years as being a fan, and I truly appreciate all the knowledge and experience you share with us. Much respect to the whole Deegan family. 👊
Wow, thank you for those amazing words of wisdom. My son follows you & we homeschool. I recently had surgery so we are having really slow mornings. Part of me is struggling with this but I need the rest. As I’m drinking my coffee giggling about how we are watching dirt biking videos to start our day, you start talking about the importance of being a man ❤ these are extremely important lessons for men of all ages! My son has been dirtbiking since he was 3. He really looks up to you! His dad takes him out whenever he can. I just want to say THANK YOU! Your words carry so much weight and you are inspiring young minds! I’m happy we woke up and decided to start our day with a dirtbike video together 😅😂❤
Being 28 now, my best childhood memories were riding with my dad. Nothing beats it, so much freedom and pure fun Props and respect to what you’re doing Brian!
That was an awesome little segment at the end about fatherhood and just hearing that from someone was cool because no one is saying that kind of stuff especially anyone with a platform. So thank you for that, being a father and especially a good one is kind of a lonely role anymore, so as a new father I really appreciate hearing that.👌 And it's so awesome to see you making the one on one time with Huck to just go have some fun.
brian, youve inspired me to love my parents even more and see the hard worker they are. im only still in highschool now, but sooner than later i will be gone to college. haiden and hudson have inspired me to spend more time with my younger brother no matter how annoying he can get sometimes😂. but anyways thank you for being one of the greatest role models to me. im a first generation dirt bike racer (i race more xc but have a moto track in the backyard) so i think its neat to see where you came from being a first gen moto lover in your house hold. so, thanks man.
Honestly one of my favorite videos from the channel. I remember the vid of Haiden taking Brian’s 450 for a few laps. Great words of wisdom at the end. Dad goals 💪
I'm sure when you were a kid Brian you wished you had a sick tricked out super mini! The boys are lucky that they have been taught to work hard to get nice things. Well said, brother. I think with the way the motocross business has gotten so intense and so results oriented, kids are forgetting why we all started riding the first place. It's the fun, the friendships, the camaraderie. Great lesson to remember, Brian. Hopefully some dads see this and pass it on to the little ones.
Grew up watching you huge fan of you and metal mulisha and to see you raising your family with love and integrity its truly inspiring and i love to see it! What a proud dad you are!!

As of now I’m raising my nephew as his father bc my older brother/ his dad passed away from a wheeler accident in 2018 and showing him how to ride and be safe means so much to me. I agree with every single word u said at the end Brian.
I look forward to Someday my family meeting your family brother. I've never been into racing bikes but I've been a true fan of yours from the rip so thanks for being so public and letting us see what a great family looks like

I so enjoy your words of wisdom, I raced motocross in the 80s, nowadays, at my age I enjoy just ridning narrow country roads on my MT09, but as you say, you don't have to compete to have fun on a motorbike. Just ridning is fun. I couldn't agree more.

After his last big crash I don’t think Brian really has that in the cards for Hudson. I see Hudson taking over the business’s for his dad more than racing or fmx could be wrong tho he is still a ripper on the bike.

Brian and Marissa are such amazing parents. Hudson is only 12 years old and he can drive a truck, a backhoe, dirtbikes, fish, knows business branding and cook his own meals. He comes from money and grew up wealthy, but Brian and Marissa did a wonderful job raising them into down to earth and self sufficient citizens. We most definitely need a parenting book and podcast from both of them. The world needs parenting advice from them.
U Guys R A God example about what a familys should be There are so many bad things on media those days, but you guys will stay forever as something good
I haven't ridden in 20 years, but my 12yo and 8yo boys finally showed some interest in bikes. My wife wasn't happy, but I picked up bikes for the boys and got myself a bike. Just puttin around right now with them as they learn but I can't wait to go exploring with them on the bikes (rather than the can am), and take them to the track eventually.
Nice hand start lol. Yes riding is super fun, motocross racing is dangerous and breaks bones. Motocross is definitely my favorite sport "to watch" lol, mainly because I know how insane it is when you're the one on the bike facing a "little" jump... looks like a mountain. Glad you were able to get out and have fun with your kid on the track, reminds me of my younger years with dad. Nice double on the 450 also!
Love the dad talk!! I have a 8 yr old daughter and 6 yr old son. Sometimes I feel lost and that I’m not good enough. However, I try everyday to give my kids the life they deserve over mine. Some days are just really hard.
Seeing this family go full circle is pretty sik. I use to watch Brian at all the X games just sending it. Seeing his kids have no fear and hear his fatherly advice is pretty dope.

I’ll quit today and come work 3-14’s drive back to Atlanta and I’m a jack of all trades. Shryock knows me. Fixed his boat and filmed at a tournament for him on final day last year. And the all around knowledge I can learn from you would be priceless
Brian, you’re a great awesome dad!!! I love my dad & all, I’m just imagining if I had you as a dad teaching me how to fix a bike & how to ride it. My dad was in the service & was hardly home due to those tours over seas.

I’m 54 and we had a daughter when we were about 25. One thing she’ll tell you without hesitation is, that she’s a DG. If you’re not familiar with this, it stands for Daddy’s Gift or Girl. I like gift because girl sounds a little creepy. Anyway, she would talk to me about things that she wouldn’t never talk to her mother about. I guess it’s because I’m more laid back and more open minded towards things. I’m more of a analytical thinker when it comes to things and I try to see things from both perspectives or sides if you will. Now I have a grandson that loves me as much as my Daughter does and he always wanting to hang out with me. I guess I’m the cool grandfather with all the airplanes and heavy equipment is why.😅😅😂😂
I respect dude!! the Father speech got me lol... im in Temecula , hopefully see ya around thanks for the upload and God bless America and no place else hahahahah

He comes from money and grew up wealthy, but Brian and Marissa did a wonderful job raising them into down to earth and self sufficient citizens. We most definitely need a parenting book and podcast from both of them. The world needs parenting advice from them.
Crazy to see Hudson on the 450. I remember Haidan riding the 450, "13 year old rips on dad's 450!" 😂
Very respectful of Hutson slowing down for that little slower kid great parenting
We need more of Hudson races, I'm excited to see how he does for 2024 and another 450 got stolen by Deegan Kid Vol 2 😂 love it!
U Guys R A God example about what a familys should be
There are so many bad things on media those days, but you guys will stay forever as something good
Probably one of the best uploads💯
I haven't ridden in 20 years, but my 12yo and 8yo boys finally showed some interest in bikes. My wife wasn't happy, but I picked up bikes for the boys and got myself a bike. Just puttin around right now with them as they learn but I can't wait to go exploring with them on the bikes (rather than the can am), and take them to the track eventually.
Good job dad. Take it easy. Just be present. Nothing to prove.
That’s the safest I’ve witnessed Huck on a bike lol. Was ready for him to just send it 🤣🤣
Haha
Love the dad talk!! I have a 8 yr old daughter and 6 yr old son. Sometimes I feel lost and that I’m not good enough. However, I try everyday to give my kids the life they deserve over mine. Some days are just really hard.
That’s ace love watching you both just having fun doing what lads love to do together acting daft 👍🏻
Mad respect Brian 🤘🏼 your family values are what it’s all about. Always been real
Much respect to you Brian!! You're doing a great job with your family!!
Seeing this family go full circle is pretty sik. I use to watch Brian at all the X games just sending it. Seeing his kids have no fear and hear his fatherly advice is pretty dope.
Great vid Deegans! Thanks so much for the words of wisdom at the end also, good advice for a 17 year old boy like me
To be taught by the legend such an awesome opportunity, I met you guys at the freedom factory two years ago Hudson was half the size throwing the football around, crazy to see how far he has come
Growing up fast!
@@Deegan38 it was an honor to meet your family, growing up watching you evolve and become a great father and inspiration for everyone
Dad I’ve been watching for years! All of you! Huckson needs a 250. Natural.
Thank you for sharing this video and awesome to see you working with HUDSON like you did with Haiden and love all that you do and all the videos thank you and I hope that I get to see you again this year at NASHVILLE Tennessee #TheDeegans #BrianDeegan
Awesome just in the last couple weeks of riding more, how comfortable and better you look throwing whips. Love the life lessons from Brian. Can’t wait for Daytona supercross and hopefully get to meet you guys again. Upset they aren’t at Tampa this year
2 stroke sounds sick!!! Love seeing good dads in the world
I’ll quit today and come work 3-14’s drive back to Atlanta and I’m a jack of all trades.
Brian you are a good MAN AND A GOOD DAD!!!
GOD BLESS
The speech with Hudson ripping around in the background was awesome
Brian speaks facts ppl be in ur kids life it goes by crazy fast believe me I have 2 beautiful daughters 15 and 17 feels like just yesterday I was bringing them home from the hospital don't say u don't have time for ur kids YOU MAKE THE TIME
Amen to the speech at the end👍🏻
Need more men to speak up.
BEST STANDUP TRAINING EVER! GET HIM A BIG BIKE!!!
Epic! Remember when Haiden said "Dad, can i ride your dirtbike?" "I guess, if you can start it you can ride it" 7 years later Hudson ripping on a 450. 🙏
10:38 Legendary dad man just had my first daughter and i hope to be as good as a man/dad as you man big salute 🫡
Your an awesome father brother, your videos always inspire me to be the best father possible and just work harder to give my son a great life.
Glad I can help.
IM 30 years old and the only time I seem to be extremely happy and enjoying my time is when im at the race track with my old man doing what we love to do. Its a exteremly expensive hobby but thats why I bust my ass every day at work..
do what you love and what your good at and enjoy it with the ones you love...
How does anyone have anything negative to say about the deegans man, Real values and Real Family sharing the love of moto
Remember negative talk comes from hurt people . Negative comments do not describe who they’re talking about. It actually describes who saying it.
And yet another great day bc the Deegans posted a video 😁, keep up the good work
Love the videos Hayden amazing job winning super Ross in your biggest fan amazing racing good good job huck keep on trucken I’m only 12 I’ve been watched the videos since I was 5 I can’t say how much I love the videos

killing it dude we all came so far and still here and Dad life and God first we fukken pulled it
I’m 54 and we had a daughter when we were about 25.
Sick video, Brian and Hudson! Hudsons tearing it up!!!
This family is one of the most stable families out there. ❤
Damn dude thanks for lookin out for the fella’s! That was awesome hearing you address such an ignored issue in the world
I respect dude!! the Father speech got me lol... im in Temecula , hopefully see ya around thanks for the upload and God bless America and no place else hahahahah
This is awesome! Remembering the first video of haiden riding around on a 450 haha
When he dumped the throttle and buried the rear end I almost lost it. Then I saw Brian’s expression for confirmation 😮😂 holy ish
Brian and Huck, y'all rock! Peace
Brian a fan since the crusty's . Some of us spend 12-14 hours a day tryin to provide . We have lost the time to enjoy what you have and we wish we could . It is hard .
