Airport 1:400 Scale International with Cargo Terminal - Model

- This will more than likely be the final video of my international airport as these video creations are extremely time consuming and I just do not have the time anymore. It was nearly impossible to get this one completed. As the title indicates the video is time specific and is designed to show glimpses of a typical day of operations at my airport. If you get through the entire video you are nearly as crazy as I am for making it! Alertness is required as this is very fast pace and you must pay attention to keep track of the continual arrivals and departures. Due to my commitment to not exceed 15 minutes at any cost, some of the morning arrivals towed to the remote who have scheduled late night departure times do not depart within the time frame of this video. There are also some carriers missing such as AZ, TG, AB, AV ect that operate restricted day service and or are charter flights not arriving this day. New in this video is an updated/redesigned Cargo ramp to accommodate more cargo and planes and features a new larger building as well. The remote parking/ stands are not as remote as they used to be as there is a new main terminal segment that has added a number of new gates at the main terminal. There is also the creation of a narrow body holding pad for four aircraft maximum. As is obvious there are some new carriers, equipment changes and increased frequencies since the last video. Many thanks to my buddy Ruben who shares the same passion and collecting theme. It is unusual to find someone else so similarly minded and passionate. A good number of the flights seen in this video were diverted temporarily to KBCW as his own very large international airport was under construction at the time of this video adding nearly 15 gates at the main terminal! The V Australia is a big give away of the planes being based around KLAX. Awesome mate, a friend at school is making one, but it wont be anything like this. WONDERFUL JOB !!!

My main role with Qantas is resourcing and scheduling so I keep myself updated with most major airport timetables.
My airport construction has been somewhat delayed and have opted to wait until I get the 2nd Gemini Jets terminal which is going to be my Qantas domestic terminal. I actually may have to get 2 of these terminals as the Australian domestic sector has grown significantly

Really nice airport good sir!!! I like all your current Gemini and Phoenix Models and well put together video!!! Your airport def has an LAX feel to it even though I know it is your own creation. I too have a model airport and would like it if you would check it out. I need to make a better ground foil for it, but it is still a work in progress. Many years put into it and I went the Herpa route for my terminals. Take care good sir and it's nice to see someone with a Allegiant Mad Dog!!!

Or rather not on the terminal side but they do pivot on the side that attaches to the planes themselves.

great airport! i was wondering how much for the gate with the american 777 at 3:18? the one that is used for the 2nd floor of the a380. and how much for the American 737 or 767, or the southwest 737 with winglets? if you could reply that would be great!

You add them slowly and make gradual changes it is not a big deal when dne this way.

i don't like gemini jets. the wheels dont move up or down like a real plane and the wheel doors arnt even shown. the wheels are also crooked. dragon wings is the best. the only thing gemini jets is best at is airports.
