  • Biggie is one of the toughest cases I've had in a very long time. He refused to eat and barely drank, he didn't like people, dogs, he bit me a few times, but we stayed the course and he's doing so much better. There's still more work to do!

    Holy cow what a pro! It’s amazing how that second dog was responding so well to you. And your dog was so funny, just sniffing around after you told him down

    Whining is a symptom of the dominance in anxiety. Anxiety is lack of obedience and inability to be happy go lucky in communication with others and people

    QQ: do you think a golden doodle dog can protect its owner if trained ?

    • @1packatak
      @1packatak 9 месяцев назад +2

      Protection dogs are usually from very selective lines of dogs with exceptional breeding. Their temperament must be rock solid.
      There are breeders who can have a litter where none of the pups makes the cut to be a protection dog.
      And it can take months if not years of training to have a reliable personal protection dog.
      I say all that so you understand the elite type dog needed for that kind of job.
      You would need to find a personal protection trainer willing to do an evaluation.

    Sum ppl think thts bad for hitting or pulling the dog like tht but think in the wild they correct others by biting and fighting a smack makes them understand that what theyre doing is not allowed

    Ok i was really loving your work but why did you hit the dog

    • @mamacass8383
      @mamacass8383 9 месяцев назад +4

      I think it might be because it had bit the other dog three times. When they are with their mother it's how she would have corrected them. I understand that as their human owners we don't want to hurt them but I also think that in certain situations we should do what their mom would do. My dog is really good with other dogs and it is because when she was a puppy I had her hanging with my friends elder dog who put her in her place very quick and swift. So my dog knows how to act around other dogs because of how the older dogs correct. So a smack on the side is not much to a dog but a correction they recognize as a hard no. I've seen owners love tap their dogs butts harder to be honest. There are certain things that just need a hard correction. That is my guess.

    • @1packatak
      @1packatak 9 месяцев назад +3

      First it was his own dog.
      Second she ignored his verbal correction to stop.
      When you are dealing with training at high levels, you really need to maintain a standard. And as Capri is used to work with other dogs, he needs to be very clear in what he allows and does not allow.
      And trust me, in a second or two Capri forgot.

    no,no,no most of what u teach is from 30 / 40 years ago, dog training as evolved since then. And u know it, but u don't want to put the time, in real dog training, u just want the customer money. and YT ads revenue. this is really bad dog training.

      @@drpizzamdHE hit the dog! That is abuse! U never have to hit an animal, I've trained for 40 years and we train by voice and leash control only, this guy is one of the worst trainers I've ever seen!!! I just looked at a video of his where HE KICKED THE DOG!!! So I decided to look at just one more video and here he it hitting a dog, HIS DOG!!! UNACCEPTABLE ON EVERY LEVEL!!! I will NOT look at anymore of his crap!!! He is teaching the subscribers to use corporal punishment!!! Pls ppl, get off this channel, unsubscribe, and find better trainers on line, if ppl follow this guy's directions...there's gonna b ALOT of poor, scared, abused dogs out there!!!!!!!

      @@user-dj7xq1qh9e what is not clear in what i told u... i watched a few of ur vids and i just see real bad dog training. leash and collar work is obsolete especially with a fearful dog. how will he trust u if u use a cord around his neck would u trust someone that put u with a piece of rope around ur neck and tell u what to do? I wouldn't... i would trust someone that treat me as a pair ... u should always ask yourself would i like someone does this to me??

    • @user-dj7xq1qh9e
      @user-dj7xq1qh9e Месяц назад

      @@GLL-Ratnik he does treat them as a pair.. you can watch him train fearful dogs and dogs who have anxiety and all that. And the dogs bond with him as well
