I recently got some switch backs , I installed them and it’s white when the truck isn’t on but when I turn on the truck instead of it being white running lights it’s amber running lights , any clue what it could be ?
@@BenignoBoyz same 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 I have the same issue as the comment above , I put my originals back on and now they don’t even work only works when I signal to go left or right but when head lights are on they don’t even turn on as well. It happened after installing switchbacks not sure what to do.
beautiful tbss you got man. how were you able to get the bumper that close to the fender since the stock bumper mounts on trailblazers usually make the bumper sag a little
it sadly is 😂😅. when you take off the bumper or crash the trucks front end. the bumper is veryyy hard to bring back to stock clean placement due to very little adjustment you get stock. im thinking of using rivnuts on the fender and installing the bumper straight onto the fender
I bought switch back turn signals, works fine parking light is white, lights on its white and turn signal flashes amber but here’s my problem: When I set my DRL up in the computer as turn signal location my turn signal comes on as DRL but lights up yellow. Is this because I can’t make DRL location as turn signal and get the white color of the switch back? Or do I need to wire in another wire somewhere? How can I resolve this to get white turn signal on as DRL like when in park or lights are on
Not too familiar with computer programming on these. But.. most issues are solved with simply switching the polarity of the bulb. Fold the 2 little metal contacts on the bulb in the opposite direction that they are in and the light color will be opposite of what it is now. Hope this helps
J owens yea that's where I would start, it's either the relay (if you don't hear a click) or the fuse for parking lights also under the seat too. Let me know
No. The only thing you may have to do is flip the polarity. Meaning bend the prongs on the plug side of the light the oppisite way to get them to work correctly.
Setup at 2:32 work on my 2005 Yukon denali

reverse the polarity on the bulb, that should solve your issue.

So no resistors for the side lamp led?
No sir, just for the running light !

Thanks man. And really? Didnt know that was a common problem. Guess I've just been lucky so far.

That's what I was thinking, just fabricate a bracket to support it where you want it to stay

Looks clean my DRLs dont work i have too turn my highbeams on at night
J owens did you kill the drl's manually or are you not sure why they don't work?

@@BenignoBoyz ok ya i gotta take a look an check the fuses hopefully i can fix it
J owens ya let me know, I can walk you thru what to do if it's not either of those.
This doesn’t have to be a 3157ck?

So this is why my light stay orange and not white i do have the resistors on mine already
You could have just upgrade your turn signal relay to an led relay and no need for the resistors
Ive found if you buy the 'canbus' version a load resistor is not needed. Had good luck so far.
Weird "truck" you got... nice suv tho
Its a trailblazer, it's barely an SUV, let alone a truck. But, ya know. Call it what you want lol.
Funny...
Wow sound like a hater on the ss haha is a bad truck
Stfu with your clapped out slowrado lmao
