I was cussing at my truck and everything! All I had to do was turn then 180 and they work now🤣🤣🤣
Lol I was confused one time as well replacing similar t10 bulbs. I was yo wtf? One works and one doesnt
Lmfao 🤣 poor truck
FYI, you can touch light emitting diodes - it isn't going to ruin them. You said in the video not to touch them.
Halogen you are not supposed to touch, because oil on the bulb can cause glass to shatter as it gets super hot. LEDs do not get hot.
John I really appreciate these videos, so helpful
Of course. No worries!
@@TRDJonI’m doing that to my Pontiac G8 can’t wait
I also am running these and absolutley love it. It will hyper flash once you start driving at night or if you use your parking lights during the day. Most noticeably in city driving rather on a highway or freeway. You can just toggle the blinker on and off to try and reset, but within 8 blinks it will continue to hyper flash again.
Is it just from being hot?
@@TRDJon Correct. Now during the day with no lights on and utilizing the blinkers, it's all gtg. Night time, its embarrassing lol
Stephen G well that's disappointing 😞
@@paulf9653 I have been communicating with the supplier about the bulbs for a couple weeks now expressing how I felt about them. From what I'm being told, is that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the bulbs and that maybe it's just the newer model vehicles that experience these problems. Doesnt make sense.. but that's what they are relaying to me..
Likes i said.. Daytime they have never hyperflashed. Night time.. freeway driving is all gtg.. City driving, these things heat up extremely quickly due to multiple signaling at different red lights. When they start hyper flashing I just turn them off. Wrong answer, but that's just how they work.. Honestly, I'm about ready to just reinstall the originals.
Stephen G yeah it's definitely the heat. Those are the only thing left that's not LEDs on my 4runner. I think I'll still skip them for now. Thanks for the info.
I have these Lasfit bulbs in front and rearz they do hyperflash sometimes if it's hot and I run my blinker for several minutes, but it is super rare and you can reset them easily by clicking the turn signal off and back on. Either way I love how bright these bulbs are and no resistors makes them a win
Yep the original ones I had only hyperblinked once the whole time I’ve used them
You just gotta top off your blinker fluid reservoir bro.
They're on sale 10%off plus your coupon code makes these a must buy for me. Thanks again, Jon!
No worries!!!!!
Thank you for that quick video. I had no true clue what switchbacks were about until I actually saw this video.
I went ahead and purchased some Lasfit switchbacks and some regular Lasfit LEDs for the rear turns for my 2025 Camry when it arrives in October.
Did mine this weekend. I really like the look and how much it stands out from other 4runners
Yes, it’s been a year now how did it last you?
@@DemetrioRUclips They still work fine.
@@JohnnyPottsIII thank you so much! Can’t wait to get them!
eBay has bad ass deals on LED's I got my tag lights, reverse, brake, and tail lights from eBay and they're amazing. I got switchback DRLs / turn signals, if you ever get turn signals make sure the bulb has a built in resistor and make sure they're CAN bus error free (hyper blinking)
Nice!!!
😍 Dude your 4 runner looks SWEET!!!!! 😍 👑
Thank you!
Lasfit LED are awesome, John! I installed on my 2016 Quicksand TRD Pro.
I installed a pair of Morimoto turn signal bulbs on my 2016 Tundra, initially I was excited about it that wasn’t hyperflashing. Then when I drove around for a while, then it started hyperflashing. So apparently the built in resistors are not sufficient for those bulbs. It’s hyperflashing for 2 seconds then back to normal blinking mode. I probably need to install the resistors anyway.
Sweet video! Are you going to test out the Morimoto XB LED headlights? I would love a video on that!
I will definitely if they are wanting to work with me. They are very pricey but people seem to be loving them
Reminder: Make sure you dont touch LED or any bulb with bare hands. The oil off your fingers or anything u touch would cause the LED to heat up a lot more and burn out.
that’s not true only applies to halogen lights
It won’t matters on LEDS lol
It's about time you swapped out those 7440 bulbs you had in the front. I have the Amber 7443's of these in the front and they're great, very bright
I know. Took forever man.
I just did mine yesterday absolutely awesome also got some led bulbs for fogs and low beams
Nice 👍
Best led on the market hands down!!
Wow my 5th gen is craving for those
Nice little touch to do
Such a helpful video, definitely gotta check these out for my 4runner
Of course!
Those look really good I got em for my 2019 nissan altima and just gotta love that look
Definitely buying this pair for my new ram definitely looks nice and not fast blinking awesome thanks bro
Bout time, I showed you these months ago!
Havebthem in for a week or two now. Just so much Toyota news lately
Haha.....I have watched most your videos since I special ordered my 4RUNNER TRD PRO in Lunar Rock on January 8th. I knew you lived in Florida but you got your tint in Fort Walton beach. I used to live in FWB. I lived at the Breakers when my Dad worked at the base. Got oysters at Fudpuckers and was a dishwasher at the Ramada. Shout out from Boston now. My 4RUNNER should be in by April 7th
That is awesome! small world! Congrats!
Why did you go for the marker light being clear? It's amber OEM and Lasfit sells an amber/amber bulb.
Darn I was hoping I got those. I got the ones that don't light up white from watching an older video of yours. I'd imagine the white ones can add to side vision a little? Lots of deer where I'm at good video
They do to an extent but not as much as if you had ditch lights.
@@TRDJon I ordered them already, it just looks too cool on your rig. 😉 It's never bad to have a spare, especially with the shortages and inflation on the horizon. You saved me from removing the front light housing all the way so thanks again bud, I love ur stuff 😊👍
Very good Jon thanks again!!
No worries I hope it helped!
Super nice lights!
Mine are no where near that bright. When theyre blinking, theyre very bright, but when theyre not, the white is more of a bright glow. They dont light up the road at all when driving. I dont mind it too much, but if theyre supposed to be that bright, I want what i paid for.
Great video! Thanks for the demo! Standard socket, right?
Correct! 👍🏼👍🏼
Very nice touch jon 👍
I've always liked the switchbacks will this work for 2001 Lexus LS430?
Yea just make sure you have the right bulb size
Great install video. Thanks
Of course!
I bought the previous version of Lasfit bulbs for my 4Runner and the hyperflashed inmediatly so I installed resistors and now the work just fine. Now I see this 2023 version promising they could fix the mistake without the resistor needed, but I see they measure the time they do keep working as should before heating and presenting the error again. My question to you: Do you think that a resistor would keep my actual bulbs from getting heated better than taking them off and installing the new bulbs, or the new version of the bulbs T3 would protect better than the resistor?
I can't get mine to switch from amber to white. They use to do that, but for some reason, my driver side is the only one that switches to amber and not white. Help!
Those are a good future giveaway awesome and cheap
Nice!! I’m looking for an LED replacement for my Tundra lights
These would be great then!
Blue TRD Jon are these all universal fit? I tried to order but they only had for Camry
I just used your code to order $430 worth of light upgrades winter is coming and got to light up the night.
Yellow/white switchable fogs, ( will be performing mod to keep fogs on with hi beams)
LA plus 72W 7600 LM total for the low beams,
LS 90w 10000LM total for the hibeams
Switch back F. turns
Side Markers
Side mirror puddle lights
Rear Turn
Back up
L.Plate
Damn you’re definitely gonna light up that night! I hope you enjoy their products as much as I have been!
Hi I bought it but the drl white led is not working any idea how to solve this issue?
Same problem with me
Did u try the reverse polarity?
How were the bulbs years later? Did you experience hyper flashing?
Nice ride friend.
Thank you 👍
I dont own a 4runner but have you thought about the morimoto XB headlights for the 4 runner? It also looks nice
Very expensive imo
What leds do you have for your main headlights? Maybe you have said before
I’ve got LASFIT LA series in them currently
Are you still rocking these? Still happy?
Yes and yes 👍🏼
John ,
hello your TRD is fire. Advise please these bulbs also works well with 2019 HIghlander?
There’s an option on the website either standard or ck socket. Which one is it? Thanks
It should be standard
Great video! is your rear turn signal resistor less LED as well?
Yes, it is
Hey John, great video's super helpful! Can I use the same bulb front and rear or do I need the 7440 and 7444 from Lasfit respectively?
I wouldn't use switch backs in the rear. They have blinker bulbs with out the switch backs though.
Hopefully this’ll work with my 2009 stang
For those who use these bulbs, you have not noticed overheating with this, I want to be sure that my light housing are not at risk to melt.
Are you still running these? If so, are you still liking them?
Love em. No issues or hyperblink yet
Are these all lasfit. What were your costs at the time. I’m in Canada and would love to get these.
Sadly, I installed these lights in my 2022 4Runner, and after about 3 minutes, the signal light hyper-flashes. It's nothing serious, but I thought Lasfit had fixed this.
I installed these Lasfit switchback on my Rav4 Prime. Why does the White not stay on? Only the yellow turn on when I use the blinkers.
Same problem with mine
@@luissrangel390I called Lasfit they said that bulb is not compatible with the car, if you want the white amber to turn on you need to install a third cable wire.
So no error
On the dashboard as well, was thinking about getting these for my 2019 Ram 1500 Classic
They are sweet!
TRD JON 3157 ?
No idea what the size is for the ram
Great video! Do think it would work with 2019-2020 Toyota Rav-4? Original bulb for Rav-4 is 7444NA. Thanks.
Tried these on a 2016 Nissan Quest which Lasfit said they were compatible. They still hyper flashed though and only the white was blinking, not the amber.
Are you still having a trouble free experience with those Lasfit LED turn signals?
Yep! No issues
@@TRDJon Do they act as DRL's when not in blinker mode? Seems like that's what they were doing in the vis.
@@prezzzrock yes. White 6k DRLs. Clink blinker, they turn amber. But yes
Great video very informative
Glad it was helpful!
What about how to get the smaller parking light out to switch them to led? Could not get mine out
Off topic, but where did you get your tint done? What brand? And how much?
I got it done at dans tint shop in Fort Walton beach FL. It’s Lumar ceramic film. I think it was just shy of $300
Blue TRD Jon did you get your front done with 80%?
Does anyone know if these 7443s LEDS will fit in a 7440 housing?
I don't recommend these honestly for the following reasons, my self and other guys have experienced the canbus issue in the 7440 models which are fully amber. the issue is that when you keep them ON for 4 mins and above they will stop syncing together with the factory ones. and the best way to test it is to turn on Hazard, so based on my testing and some research i have done i have concluded that this happens due to the heat, because the load resistor and can-bus system is built it the light, so when it becomes really hot the can-bus stops blinking as it should and you will see a slight faster flash. and when you let them cool down they work back normally, however they are the brightest leds I have tested so far
I just did mines 10 mins ago
I just installed these on my 2020 pro. And it was a bit more of a pain in the butt than I thought. I hope they last because I don't want to go through that again. They do look awesome with the lasfit led lowbeams I also just put in. They were a breeze compared to the turn signals. Jon how are your switchbacks holding up? I do have to use my 4 way flashers every now and then cuz I work in NYC although I live out on long island.
The haven’t hyperblinked once. Love em
Lasfit has a LED similar to this for the same spot but instead of the switchback being a bright white, it goes to a dimmer amber. Its like stock but LED. Any chance you seen these in action or willing to review this LED?
I’ve done one of lasfits amber blinker bulbs in the past like this with no switch back
But not one that goes dimmer
To verify, these are the 7443 switchback LED, right? I installed them and for some reason the DRLs are amber and not white. Any idea?
I bough same ones and didn’t work in my Silverado just turns amber but not white
What about rear LED turn signals? I ran into hyper flash issue after being recommended T10 (not T15) replacements. It flashes immediately.
4Runner question.... I’ve test driven a 2019 TRD Pro & a 2019 TRD Off Road w/KDSS and both times I’ve experienced the same vibration. At approximately 45-50 mph, I felt a vibration in the steering wheel, similar to an “out of balance” tire. Both 4Runners were new. (Less than 10 miles) Is this a common characteristic?
It is for the 4runner. But they can fix it
What are some good roof rail options?
Liking my LFD’s still
Did you ever try these in your 22 sr5 tundra? It seems there are mixed reviews if they hyperflash in the Tundra or not. Thanks!
Can you recommend an led headlight bulb for the stock 4 runner housing?
Thamk John!!!!!
No problem
found the vid, thanks! big help!
No worries!!
@@TRDJon made the mistake of buying switchbacks before doing all my research. ended up buying resistors, but the area is way too small to do anything. these LASFIT leds are perfect!
They are for sure
what head lights are you running at this time?
have you also noticed that having the switchback increases brightness at night and decreases fading from city lights?
Ehhh not to much. And I’m actually running lasfit la series still
So these will hyper blink? According to a viewer below?
If they get extremely hot. But they haven’t for me yet
Do they offer non switch back led for the rear that don’t require resistors? If you do the front you might as well do the back
The rears are a single filament 7440 and will not use the white light
They are the 7440 no switch backs. The ones I have in front will work in the back like I said
I had this and after a year they started to hyper flash
Dang sorry to hear that!
Purchased these for a 2018 Toyota 4Runner. They did not work, they hyper flashed. Got no help from Lasfit
I bought these for my 2017 Mercedes CLA 250, the white led’s don’t turn on only the orange lights :/
Hey dude you might have already said this somewhere? I already have these in the back turn signals If i replace the front with these LEDs will it make it hyper flash?
So is there a link for the daytime running lights use I really want to get the ones you have
Those are from Auxbeam. They are the f16 series. 9005 size
Hello, I installed this 7443 LED bulbs on my 4Runner 2019 and it hyperflashes, what module or antiflasher resistor do I have to install to correct the issue?
Holy tint
Love it man ha
Blue TRD Jon I got my 2015 used and had 20% on it, got pulled over and a ticketed within 2 weeks!
Wish they fitted in my car headlight housing, they are too long :/
I have lastfit in my 2015 4runner highs and lows and I have a flickering during day time running. Please help
Does Rear signal lights led too? And no hyper flashing? I
It says no resister needed, I ordered from their site and installed in 2018 Tacoma 4x4 trd off-road. Letting truck runs 10 minutes my blinker went crazy hyper flashing, bulb got really really hot.
Why would you have a blinker on for ten minutes?
@@TRDJon
Just wanted how long it takes for bulb to fail. I’ve done same to ALLA light front turn with CAN BUS free, no issue. Not saying Lasfit is bad, I do have H11 in my Tacoma , it’s bright, for turning signal, I’ll stick with ALLA lightning error free for front and rear.
I have a 2020 Tacoma, if I got these would the DRLs turn these on with white then blink amber when signaling?
How have they been holding up so far? I really want to order these
Awesome!!!!
Blue TRD Jon nice man. Thanks for the reply 👍
Hey john, quick questions about your 4runner is it equipped with CK socket or Standard socket type for signal lights?
I’ll be replacing mine as well
Standard will work
Got any updates on the hyper flashing?
It's the only reason why I'm holding off from getting them for my 2020 Camry
None thus far
I installed mine today. So these are not actually DRL, correct? When my lights are in DRL mode, just the high beam/DRL are on.
Correct
Can you install these lights at rear sinal ligjts for RAM 2021?
How about the durability .. it still works fine after a year ?!
Stick kicken!!
Did you have to swtich out the flasher relay to a LED flasher relay?
I recently got these Tseries bulbs but not the switchbacks, and when i hit the hazard lights, the light are out of sync with the LED flasher relay installed. So i has wondering if you kept your OEM flasher relay in order for the hazards to blink in sync. lmk thanks.
Bro, just reach down from the top. Zero screws needed to remove.
Cool!!
Thanks man
These lights suck, I had them and they only last about 1-2 minutes before they start hyper flashing and then you need to let it rest for a whole minute so it can cool down
Why do you have your blinker on for 2 mins?
@@TRDJon emergency lights…maybe you stay stranded or need to pull over, hauling something…traffic lights on red for a few minutes…waiting on your turn on make a turn left or right…these lights suck and aren’t for street use…the ones with resistors are better and don’t overheat and some come with a case for much less money
@ufcchamp2647 sorry you had that issue man.
@@TRDJonit says on their description that it happens and you need to leave them a minute to cool down
Standard or CK socket? I screwed this up before
For the fenders? 10mm
@@TheJam313 thanks
So these will hyperflash at night due to the lights being on for awhile?
Mine haven't yet.
