I have a 98 gmc k1500 I always purchase all of my light bulbs from you. I recently put LED running lights and turn signals in my truck, now my turn signals/hazards will not work unless my headlights are off now what do you think happened?
Did you ever find out what the issue was? I have the same problem in my 71 K5. When I hook put the after market LED turn signal lights up to the marker lights on the side I have to have the the parking lights on for everything to work. When I shut them off they won't flash the blinker or the hazards on. When I hook the same lights up to the blinker wiring below the bumper the opposite happens like you're describing. It's the weirdest thing. I don't have an Audi LED flasher in it right now. I want to get one but if it doesn't fix the problem why do it?
Hi. Thank you for this video and the information. I just purchased the 3157 bulbs, installed them today and no more hyper flash. Hopefully they continue to work good. Thanks
Best solution is to modify the flasher relay, safer and cheaper. I can’t imaging having four or more heat creating components that reach engine temperature in seconds. Draw 30-35 watts each resistor.
The most natural way to fix the problem is to find where is the current measuring shunt-resistor ( which usually is in a form of piece of wire , can be also semi clipped on few places for adjusting the resistance ) For cars with flasher relay, it is in the flasher relay body . For incandescent set of flasher bulbs this shunt resistor has a value of 0.03 Ohms . Desolder the shunt- wire- resistor and replace it with SMD 2 Wats 0.3 Ohm ( 10 times bigger resistance)resistor . It is small enough to fit in the flasher relay body without problems . Return the flasher relay back on it place . This way you not only will fix the hyper flashing , but also will save the original ability of the flasher relay to detect burnt( but now led) bulbs . I fixed this way the hyper flashing on my car . For checking the fault bulb detection function of the modified flasher relay you just can remove one of the bigger turn signal led bulbs on the front or on the tail side but not the small ones (repeaters ) on the side of the fenders . If the flasher relay start hyper flash , then your shunt resistor value is chosen correctly and everything will works as supposed to, but just now with led bulbs . It’s like 10-15 minutes job .
Thank you for your comment! Currently, LED bulbs on the market have undergone multiple upgrades and can be compatible with most vehicle models. Could you please tell me your vehicle's make/model/year? We warmly welcome you to try our products!
Replacing the flasher relay is the best option. That was fine for my 2002 Mustang but I just found out that my 2014 Xterra doesn't have a user replaceable flash relay because it's integrated into the BCM. I've heard that the BCM can be reprogrammed but someone else said it isn't possiible. Nissan service couldn't help because this is non-stock. Some say that the CANBUS rated LEDs would be an option since they're suppose to have circuity that pulls enough current to fool the vehicles electronics into thinking that an OEM bulb is being used. Resistors are an option but the only problem with that is that if your LED goes bad the resistors will be telling the electronics that the bulb is good. Anyway, one thing this video didn't state is whether all 4 (or 6) turn LEDs have to be CANBUS rated (Lasfit T series) but I suspect that they do - and they are more expensive. If the T series doesn't fix the problem, can they be returned? And are the T series DOT approved for street use?
Hello, thanks for your feedback. Sure, you can return T-series LED bulbs if they don't fix the problem. How does T-series LED bulb work compare with the regular LED bulbs on the market? T-series LED bulb was designed high power with built-in load resistor, which increases the wattage to close the OEM halogen bulb wattange. If so, the trip-computer inspection system will think it is still the halogen bulb and no error code. But for some vehicles, the trip-computer system is different and still causes the error code as long as changing the stock halogen bulbs to after-market LED bulbs. Such as some models of Kia & Hyundai. In this case, it is better to use the flash relay to fix the issue.
@@lasfitvehiclelife I installed 4 of the T-series LEDs in my 2002 Mustang brake light positions yesterday and that fixed my cruise/speed control issue (the speed control quit working with standard LEDs). I suspect that if I replace the front turn signal LEDs with the T-series LEDs that I could go back to using the OEM flasher relay - but I'm not going to do that since I installed one of those modified electronic flasher relays that fixed the hyperflash issue. Tomorrow, I'll have the T series LEDs for my 2014 Xterra and I expect that'll fix the hyperflash issue on that vehicle. I'll let you know if it does or doesn't.
I replaced the 2 turn signal LEDs (non-CANBUS type) with CANBUS ready LED's in my 2014 Xterra. I already have T series LEDs in the tail light section. I'm getting strange performance. 1. With the engine off I don't have hyperflash when I activate the turn signals. 2. When I start the engine I get hyperflash. 3. The front LEDs will flash but won't turn on with the headlights (but the side markers come on) - they are suppose to turn on with the headlights and flash when the turn signal is activated. 4. If I rotate the front LEDs 180 degrees, they don't flash but will turn on with the headlights. Did I get the wrong LEDs (part #LED-C3157A)? EDIT: It is a CK socket so I'm working with Lasfit to get an exchange.
2006 Ford Escape does not have a relay, instead it has a SJB - smart junction block for Turn Signals. What can you recommend? Also headlight LED's are not that bright, is there a type of amplifier relay so they can light up brighter? ? Thank you...
I'm wondering if your T-series bulbs might work on a 2011 Kia Sorento. I have tried some other LED bulbs from Auxito with built-in resistors, but still had issues. I also was considering replacing a flasher relay, but I think this vehicle integrated the flasher relay into an IPM for the 2011 model year.

@lasfitvehiclelife It was very warm that afternoon. The next morning it was back to normal and I have not seen a repeat of the hyperflashing since then
DO NOT USE THESE STYLE RESISTORS FOR YOUR VEHICLE!!! READ THE REVIEWS OF THE PRODUCTS YOU'RE BUYING!! These Chinese resistors that you find literally everywhere (local auto parts store, Amazon, eBay, RUclips Links, etc) are 150w 6ohm resistors. LEDs won't EVER call for this much resistance. Because of this, these resistors get SCORCHING HOT (over 250-300 degrees F) in a matter of seconds (around 15-25 seconds of use) due to the resistors insanely high Amp draw. Most 12v resistance situations (CanBus Errors, Hyper Flash, etc.) call for 16-18 ohms of resistance @ around 13-15 watts. Simply buy (2) 25watt 8ohm resistors and wire them both in series (+ to -). That is PLENTY for a 12-16v application without burning up your car or constantly replacing LED lights that should be lasting months if not years longer than what they do.

Hi, please guide me ..I have ev car which has original halogen bulbs of 21w and I wanted to replace it for led bulb which has 6w only for power saving ..I successfully replaced bulbs to led and I have fully savings on my power and I can go extra mile in charge ..now only issue is when I turn on individual turn led it hyperflash ..during parking there is no issue ..so should I leave as it is ? Or should I something about hyperflash thing ?
Hi, as mentioned in the video, you have the option to connect load resistors or change an aftermarket turn signal flasher relay to prevent hyper-flashing, or I can recommend suitable LED bulbs for you. Our newly upgraded T3 series turn signals come with built-in resistors, which can prevent the hyper-flashing issue. However, if resolving the hyper-flashing is a priority, achieving power saving concurrently may not be feasible. The root cause of the hyper-flashing is that the wattage of the LED bulbs you've installed is lower than that of the original OEM halogen bulbs.
Hello, I replaced it to my f250 2002 and the issue is that once the light is off, the sound still there as if was on, but lights not on. Is there a voltage issue? Thanks

@jeanious2009 U have to. It only depends on the vehicles application. If u have an older vehicle, u have 3 options. Get a led turn signal bulbs, and get a load equalizer resistor Get an led flasher relay Or get the most simplest one. Get a led bulb with built in resistors for better plug and play. If it s a modern vehicle, a lot of times u can’t swap a relay with a led flasher because it’s control by the BCM. Which means ur unable to swap a relay. So u would need to add a tap with load equalizer resistor or led bulb with a built-in resistors.

@jeanious2009
U have to. It only depends on the vehicles application.
If u have an older vehicle, u have 3 options.
Get a led turn signal bulbs, and get a load equalizer resistor
Get an led flasher relay
Or get the most simplest one.
Get a led bulb with built in resistors for better plug and play.
If it s a modern vehicle, a lot of times u can’t swap a relay with a led flasher because it’s control by the BCM.
Which means ur unable to swap a relay.
