I strongly agree with those who suggested watching Dimple and Pied Piper live. It’s absolutely fantastic. I love Pied Piper and this fan made video is good but once you watch the combo you will understand why we are encouraging you to watch as well. That said, RM wrote this song to ARMY when he learned that armies were spending too much time watching BTS contents and kind of neglecting their studies or work. He is encouraging them to do your work or studies first and after that you can find some time for BTS because we don’t want your parents, teachers, and bosses to hate us. BTS have ruined you for other artists? That’s how I feel too. BTS were the first Korean artists I saw. At some point I was ready to add other K-pop acts but couldn’t find any I liked anywhere near as much. In fact, most I can’t even make it through one whole song. It’s just hard to waste my time that way when I know there’s plenty of BTS content out there to enjoy.

Besides group projects with all 7 members, they have a lot of solo & sub unit projects etc. Lots of songs from the rap line, vocal line, etc. UGH is just one of many. You'll discover more I'm sure. Their discography I'd massive since they debuted in 2013. Music is just ONE of the many layers that's BTS, which says a lot.

If you check out their discography and journey from the beginning, you'll understand their growth as Artists and as individuals. They write from personal experience as they were growing up, which you'll notice through the albums they produce plus intertwine that experience with the world around them and also bringing awareness to social issues etc. Their songs can be very catchy on the surface (for new or casual listeners) but there's so many layers to the music they produce. Pied Piper is just one example of that. Not only do they reference an old fairy tale, but they use a lot of metaphors to incorporate the imagery through the lyrics and making that connection for us to understand and relate to plus making it pleasing to our ears. Think of Pied Piper as BTS gently roasting ARMYs in the best way ever. Yes, they're our guilty pleasure, a distraction in a way, etc that a year or 2 would easily pass by because they're so intriguing...they command our utmost attention.
