For those who don't know 💜The Truth Untold - this is how they conceptualised the song: They created a very old and sad story called, 'La Città di Smeraldo' that takes place in a small town in Italy ( in the 16th Century -1500's). The story's about an 'ugly' man who hid in an old castle alone, even though he was a gentle good person, because of his looks he received lots of hate & cruelty while growing up. He never opened his heart to anyone. Eventually if anyone tried to approach him, he covered his deformed face with a mask and hid in fear, ...So he became bitter and angry. His one happiness in life was to plant beautiful flowers in his walled off garden. One night a woman appeared near the man's castle. She jumped over the garden fence and stole a flower. This angered the man at first. So he watched his garden all night. But when he fell asleep, the woman took another flower. This continued for several nights. The man pretended to be asleep and watched the woman steal a flower. He started becoming curious about the woman. He began waiting for her. Without realizing he started waiting for her to come and each day began to seem a little brighter. Following after her one day he realized that she was selling the flowers that she stole from him to try to make a living. The man falling in love so desperately wanted to help the woman. But he was afraid she would be terrified by the way he looks if he approached her. He 'knew' she would never be able love his 'grotesque' appearance. He came to a conclusion that the only way he would be able to help her is to keep himself hidden and let her continue stealing flowers from his garden. The man decided to make a flower that doesn't exist on the planet. So that the woman could sell them at a expensive price. He began to create the flower in his castle. After many unsuccessful attempts, the man created the most beautiful of all flowers (The Smeraldo Flower) and filled his garden with these beautiful flowers. But the woman stopped coming. No matter how long he waited she never came back to his garden. He eventually found out that the woman had starved to death before he could give her the flower that would have saved her. If only he had been brave enough to approach her😭 The smeraldo flower plays a part in the Bangtan Universe storyline, and you will see it in various MVs. The Smeraldo flower symbolizes the sincerity that could not be delivered. The moral of the story, as interpreted by BTS, is that people are entrapped in the depths of misery and darkness due to a lack of self-love and confidence. The protagonist would have probably felt much better, had he talked to her and confronted his fears and insecurities. In addition, another aspect is the way people are affected by childhood trauma and dysfunctional families. The man was highly affected by his childhood trauma caused by nasty comments made by people. 💜💜
At the performance in Brazil in 2019, on the first night Jimin had a sore throat and couldn't sing well, but the Brazilian Army sang his entire part (even though it was in Korean) and Jimin cried, moved by Army's love. In fact, the B-Army sang all their songs the entire time during the show.

Yep, it's a stage mix. That's often done to avoid copyright issues. Sometimes it's done to show how consistent they are with their choreography as the cuts flow seamlessly because of how precise they are (those are INSANE).

Open secret in the USA music industry however people have been caught and it has been in the USA media but no one takes any notice. The USA Radio and media don't want artists who are sign to USA music companies getting ahead as they can't make any money off them. Also USA radio have often said to fans asking for songs to be played 'We only play English music. They said that to fans who asked for Jungkook's 3D with Jack Harlow feature on it to be played on USA radio. errm the songs in English.
I gave up trying to find a favourite song it's impossible as each song has it's merits and depending on what you need to hear at any given moment in time you'll find a BTS song that fits that personal moment in time.

The vocal line here in this song,have created many favorites. Then,there's Ddaeng,from the rap line ...it has its own explanation video its so complicated to follow. I love being able to be involved in the lyrics that these boys have penned,mostly,and the music, to fully understand their story. It's a whole new world to me. I'm learning the language too,5 months of it now. This rabbit hole runs deep... There is a storyline that runs through their music videos,called the BU[ BTS Universe]. You'll know it when you see it because it will throw you for a loop! Oh believe me, ARMY wants the whole world to experience and enjoy BTS. But as you yourself start to become part of ARMY, you will understand exactly why it is not as easy for it to happen. It is the most unfortunate thing. For some reason there is such a big resistance to it. It's really too bad. I feel like these boys are too good for this world. It is easily one of ARMY's biggest frustrations. We want to share BTS but people don't want it. Oh well...
Bascially the song is story to show you we need to accept and love ourselves and not be afraid but to step out go after what we need/want. The story is about a noble but disfigured man who hides away in his mansion/castle and only goes out wearing a mask. He see's a young girl stealing flowers from his garden he's cross but falls in love with her and we works one creativing a flower the 'Blue Smeraldo' so she can sell it in the market. He wants to see her he follows her in the shadows with his mask on so he know's what she's doing with his flowers. Then she stops coming and he he plucks up courage again to go look for her only to find she's died of starvation, he's lost his chance because of his fear.
As you noticed, when you see "stage mix" on a fan made video, they usually take the audio from one of their live performances ("stage" is the word the kpop industry uses for performance) and mix up the video from several ones. It's specially interesting on the songs with a hard choreography, because sometimes you can see how precise they're. And this kind of video edits are also great for reactions because as they take only seconds from each performance, it's harder for YT to dectect copyrighted material from a TV show or a concert DVD Edited to add: I keep a "top ten BTS songs - no order" so I have a way to let people know about my taste but I change at least a song each month.... And sometimes I change it back later on
This song is an ARMY favorite. Actually, this song was written and produced by Steve Aoki. They write the majority of their songs, but they also have songs that are written for them. This was the only one on the album Love Yourself: TEAR that was written by another artist. Jungkook wrote and produced Magic Shop on this album, which if you haven't heard or watched the live performance yet, it's a must. He wrote it for ARMY, and it's my favorite song on the album.

I am from México and I also think that radio stations think that we do not appreciate all their excelent songs because they are not in English. Good music is always a pleasure to hear no matter the language, but I guess they only think in numbers and what is comercial. They do not understand that we first loved them singing in korean. I have not heard a bad song from BTS. I've heard musical genres I wasn't familiar with, but the song was so good.
Oh believe me, ARMY wants the whole world to experience and enjoy BTS. But as you yourself start to become part of ARMY, you will understand exactly why it is not as easy for it to happen. It is the most unfortunate thing. For some reason there is such a big resistance to it. It's really too bad. I feel like these boys are too good for this world. It is easily one of ARMY's biggest frustrations. We want to share BTS but people don't want it. Oh well...
Bascially the song is story to show you we need to accept and love ourselves and not be afraid but to step out go after what we need/want. The story is about a noble but disfigured man who hides away in his mansion/castle and only goes out wearing a mask. He see's a young girl stealing flowers from his garden he's cross but falls in love with her and we works one creativing a flower the 'Blue Smeraldo' so she can sell it in the market. He wants to see her he follows her in the shadows with his mask on so he know's what she's doing with his flowers.
Then she stops coming and he he plucks up courage again to go look for her only to find she's died of starvation, he's lost his chance because of his fear.
As you noticed, when you see "stage mix" on a fan made video, they usually take the audio from one of their live performances ("stage" is the word the kpop industry uses for performance) and mix up the video from several ones. It's specially interesting on the songs with a hard choreography, because sometimes you can see how precise they're. And this kind of video edits are also great for reactions because as they take only seconds from each performance, it's harder for YT to dectect copyrighted material from a TV show or a concert DVD
Edited to add: I keep a "top ten BTS songs - no order" so I have a way to let people know about my taste but I change at least a song each month.... And sometimes I change it back later on

This song is an ARMY favorite. Actually, this song was written and produced by Steve Aoki. They write the majority of their songs, but they also have songs that are written for them. This was the only one on the album Love Yourself: TEAR that was written by another artist. Jungkook wrote and produced Magic Shop on this album, which if you haven't heard or watched the live performance yet, it's a must. He wrote it for ARMY, and it's my favorite song on the album.

I am from México and I also think that radio stations think that we do not appreciate all their excelent songs because they are not in English. Good music is always a pleasure to hear no matter the language, but I guess they only think in numbers and what is comercial. They do not understand that we first loved them singing in korean. Too bad!
