I'm sure I'll be back in Armagh some time. There is so much history attached to the place. I did a few other videos about the area when I was there that day. I was down to visit the birthplace of the penalty kick by William McCrum. I spotted the museum in the Mall and realized what a treasure. I also filmed W McCrum's grave.
Thanks for your encouragement Christopher, I'm just an old obsessive who wants to point others in the direction of a good thing and I so do my amateur videos. I most certainly will be back but there are so many great places to visit and film! lol

You might regret saying that Christopher lol. So far I have over 2000 RUclips videos up! Most of them relate to the positives about Northern Ireland. Best wishes!

There's a lot more than I put in the video. A lot of weaponry of all sorts but too much for one video so I thought i would concentrate on the local soldiers. And there is another county museum just a few steps away on the same side of the street too, with a lot of military items in it too. Two for free!

The royal Irish fusiliers was originally a Connaught regiment

Hi SHage I didn't know this. I have come across the Connaught Rangers Regiment.

Tom McClean I believe the royal Irish fusiliers was amalgamated with the 88th Connaught rangers in 1881 giving you the modern royal Irish fusiliers in 1881
