      Back in the 1980s when I was finishing up my undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins I witnessed this happening with our student body and their disgust with all the financial investments with the apartheid government in South Africa. After about a year of protest and demonstrations Hopkins finally divested their investments in South Africa until the apartheid ended. Hopefully the military support by the United States for any country openly violating multiple articles of the Geneva Convention will end. This widespread disregard for international law needs to stop. Countries like the United States and the United Kingdom also need to stop doing it as well.

    Bari Weiss was also responsible for the targeted murder of university professor and poet Refaat Alareer and members of his family. He’s the guy that ridiculed the IDFs claims about cooking and beheading babies.
    He was right, turns out. But he’s dead.
    He wrote that poem about flying a kite in memory of all the lost mums and dads of Gaza; a few days before he was murdered.
    The IDF made certain we knew it was a targeted attack, because it’s one of the few occasions they demonstrated the ability to surgically strike if they so wished. They targeted a single floor of a building, leaving it standing and mostly intact.
    They could have been doing this all along if they were actually interested in targeting Hamas.

    • @YTsupportsZionaziGenocide
      @YTsupportsZionaziGenocide 8 месяцев назад

      @@Sernival and to many people that might be a decent point. however there are two caveats
      1, china isn't anti-religion, they are against the public spreading OF religion as they see it as undermining their social cohesion (and they're not wrong, in general, religion, has always done exactly that), and while christianity is an "approved religion" (to my understand approved religions can be publicly spread [namely having public gathering and dedicated buildings], which is hypocrital, either ban religion or don't, spirtuality and religion aren't the same thing anyways, religion is spirituality turned into faith based community conformity) islam, is not an approved religion, hence the uyghers issue, christian missionaries used to face similar treatment, before christianity became as socially accepted.
      2, i'm not just an atheist, i'm anti-religious, i view all theistic religious to be silly and something to be grown out of, like santa claus and the easter bunny or unicorns and ghosts, so making a religious argument to me is like trying to insist any other work of fiction is our shared reality, ergo even if china was antireligious that would be among the least of my concerns with china, how they crack down on dissent is a much greater concern, though they have gotten much better in that regard in each passing decade.

    I first have to say the title of this video is a little click baitish since I thought the police were the ones using chemical weapons. For someone who has lived thru the civil rights and Vietnam protest on college campuses in the 60's yes I'm old but can tell you I don't think much has changed when it comes to sliencing one group or the other.
    Today it is done through cyber bullying which is a lot less dangerous for the person they want to silence then being stalked and getting the shit beat out of you like it was done in the 60's. The ROTC were much larger back then talking about the right trying to silence people. For those who are too young to know what the ROTC is it an acronym for Reserve Officers' Training Corps which gives college students training to become officers in the US military usually above the rank of Sergeant usually being a Lieutenant. So with that force against those "hippies" as anyone who was against vietnam or were white and were for civil rights were labeled being silenced was very real. The states were calling up the National Guards of their states to suppress the protests so this isn't a new thing for our country.
    If you listen to Elise Stefanik it's the Jewish students that are being harassed and the pro palestine students are the aggressors I knew that wasn't true but neither side is innocent either. Infiltration of one side or the other was done back then as we see is still being done today so again nothing new. Back then it was more for information than attacks to the other side though.
    Last thought when it comes to Apartheid or Tibet world wide those issues were not as big as the Vietnam War or Civil Rights in the US like today the Israel /Palestine conflict is a worldwide issue and the more people are paying attention the more the movement has.
    Just in case Americans think we live in a bubble we don't every country in the world looks to the US for direction as they perceive us as the beacon on the hill since the end of WW2. That is why we lost a lot of faith and became the laughing stock of the world when we elected Trump into office let's not make that mistake again so whatever your beef is with the current administration it will be a lot worse if he gets in again and don't take it lightly when people say it will be the end of our democracy and I can't believe I'm saying this but listen to Liz Cheney she is absolutely right. If you think that can't happen look up Project 2025 by the Heritage Foundation it will dismantle the way our government has worked for over 200 years and gives all the power to the president if Trump gets in again.
