I don’t have a problem with celebrities endorsing candidates… but it’s INSANE that a billionaire is legally allowed to not only give tens of millions of dollars to his preferred candidate, but also control what information voters get see about that candidate on the enormous social media platform that he OWNS.
Not to mention most of his business is from government contracts. The conflict of interest is glaring. Apparently, he also has some investigations against him, which I’m sure Trump will oblige.

It’s bad enough that one of the wealthiest men on the planet is the world’s biggest “welfare queen” and receives billions of dollars he doesn’t need from hardworking taxpayers. But if Elon finances a presidential campaign and his preferred candidate wins, he’s basically bought himself the most powerful person in the world who will essentially work for him and ensure that he gets whatever he wants. It’s despicable.

Musk is the worst public speaker I've ever heard. Those little giggles he does mid-sentence when nothing is funny.. straight up weird. He rapidly mumbles confusing jumbles of thoughts in short bursts, and then has these strange pauses in between. Its so hard to follow. After a few sentences, I dont even know what hes talking about anymore. Honestly, its so cringy that its painful.

My favorite thing about all of this is that I live in Delco and the only reason I knew Musk was here was because of a spam voting text. No one at my work or in public was talking about it, there was no traffic congestion, nothing. Absolutely amazing the lack of waves this made.

My issue isn’t with A.I. It’s with the people using it. A.I. Could be a wonderful thing, its applications in medicine and research are literally endless and there are some people doing amazing stuff with it already. Unfortunately no one cares about that because people like elon musty musk and his incel followers use it to make child p*rn. A.I. Is just a tool, what scares me is humanities unparalleled tendency to use our tools to poke ourselves in the eye.
I’ll also add that legislation is too slow to catch up. People shouldn’t be able to use A.I. to fake politicians voices and not even have to include a disclaimer. That’s not a ‘parody’. It should be a basic human right that we own our own identities (our face and voice) and people trying to maliciously imitate someone else’s identity should be liable in court.
