Love the number plate, nice homage to the first series 1 ‘HUE’ Must surely get top spotter marks for that! 😉 Great work on the vids, I’ve owned countless defenders but my favourite was a TD5 90 county 👍
Great channel and video. Cutting a hole in the roof - madness! The ‘escape hatch’ on my ex-mod 90 has always leaked no matter how many times I’ve replaced the seals and re-bonded, the water then sits in the footwells and we all know how that one ends...!!!
One of the previous owners of my 90 put a sunroof in. I wish they hadn’t - doesn’t improve it imho. Another place for leaks and dripping condensation from the glass
Thanks, great video as always. I had no idea that my sun roof comes out like that. I tried it & broke off a bracket !! :-) - but replaced now. Roll on warmer weather...
Carry on showcasing the excellent care and attention to detail of your builds and quality workmanship, and I’m sure you’ll get your 20000 SqFt unit sooner than you think!
Could you please do a video on timing belt change pleeeeeease your videos are so good and your good at explaining things and make it so easy to follow along
Love the videos, I've got a 110 with factory sunroof (doesn't leak😅) and I didn't even know it was detachable 🤯 every day is a school day. Keep them coming.
Love your vids - keep em coming ! Does make me smile when you spend ages cleaning the Defenders then you have drive them back through a shitty farm yard to get to the workshop lol
It will leak and that's no reflection on your work, which looks excellent, but is more to do with the convex shape of the glass; best remedied by running vaseline around the edges to 'water proof' it. Looking forward to the air suspension...
Great job fitting the sun roof, very precise cutting. Soon Juice will be up there with the bigger names- no doubt. Any reason you don't use a foam pre wash, is it due to the jet wash at the farm not being adaptable?
Great video as usual. Always thought of fitting a sun roof into my 2015 110. Is that fitted as per factory dimensions? If so could you give me a measurement from the roof seam join to the rear of the cut our aperture please. I was always dubious about cutting out centre web support strut but it looks like a doable exercise.
Hi Gin & Juice! Silly question, where are you located? Additionally, where do you call for parts or codes? Like, the best showroom that where gives you a Shop Manual when you buy a brand new model...and haggle for it. Hehe. That’s the shop I would like to talk to. No worries about the country code....I used to work with the gals that run Nuby UK. Thanks bunches!!!!! P.S. I’m going to start saying “SUPER SAVAGE” ...if that’s okay with you?
@@juicemotors i used to rund a straight edge along side the nibbler so it was perfect and free hand in the corners i guess its what your comfortable with then take out the centre rib once hole is cut put lining back in and mark from the top so you cant f it up pmsl
@Rankin Clarkson they are Labrcaft Scenelite SI7. I have a pair on the back of my 110. Great wide throw of light from them. www.labcraft.co.uk/product/scenelite-si7/
I'm always amazed by uselessness of the genuine LR sunroof 😶 it doesn't open, it does slide, etc. None! Perhaps, something like "roof glass" is a better or more appropriate term?
strange - considering non-sunroof Landy's are going for a premium over sunroof equipped models and highly sought out - that you would do a sunroof - think you dropped the value on the Landy a lot by doing this
I would love to own a 110 Defender to tow my little 2 brth caravan, however I can't ever see that happening now, simply because I now live on war disablement pension, after being disabled during my military career
Thanks for making your videos really long, mate! Definitely enjoy grabbing a cup of tea and sitting down for these vids!
Thanks for watching! 💛
She looks decent before you even start so can't wait for the finished article!
I really think that the Defenders are the only vehicle that look good in grey. That 110 in green at the trimmers was the bees knees 👍🏻
Would love to see a key less entry push to start system tutorial on a defender
I was thinking about fitting a sunroof to mine. Now I've seen this I think its a must!!! Great Video Sam
Loving a black and silver Defender But I guess Im bias ! Great video thanks
As much as I love 'modded' LRs it was so nice to see a classic 110 County in factory spec in the Lucari workshop.
Love the number plate, nice homage to the first series 1 ‘HUE’
Must surely get top spotter marks for that! 😉

Always excellent quality. Thank you so much for sharing.
Glad to have you and the crew back, looking forward to following another Juice classic
Love, love, love the D90's! Keep em coming

Thank you! Working towards it! 😎
Love that candy green 4 door ! How much they go for with fully restoration and bring it to California? Let me know thanks
Careful with the black and silver plate, pretty sure you can be done for that now in the UK...
Love your channel man! Very nice to watch. Keep up!
hey hey! it's 1 am here, but I clicked as fast as I could, love the channel!
Yes!!!! Thanks for your support! 💛
Hi guys where you get the sunroof from, mine is same, need new rubber seals or new unit ? Cheers Brian
Another quality video! Ready for this new series 🔥

What brand and part number was sunroof- think i could fit it on 1975 series three pickup?
Hi, firstly these vids are great - keep them coming please! Secondly, what products did you use for sound proofing the cabin? Cheers 👍
great looking defender very nice will be great to watch what you do with it :-)
been watching you for a year now love what you do great watch
What would you call that sticker around the side indicator at the start of the video
May I request next project is Discovery 2 300Tdi ?
Brilliant work!!
What’s the tow hitch? Looks like a combination between a nato and standard ball hitch.
nice job, but in front of the sunroof there is a huge gap, it may pour into the car
May I ask IF all DEFENDERs with glass sunroof could be took off with the same easy way?
Excellent 👍
12:00 Mr.Bean at the kitchen. 😂👌🏻

They could’ve made the latch easier 😂
@@juicemotors you know you're talking about Land Rover right? 😂🤣
😂 fair point
I’ve a factory sunroof in my 2015 90 (Aussie spec). How do you unlatch it at the winder? Seems solidly fixed. Thanks
Flick the silver latch (has a slot in it)

Where can I buy that sunroof ? Nice video
I cannot believe that roof takes your weight. I thought only the earlier ribbed roofs were that tough?
I really want to fit one of these but been scared off due to all the negative things iv read. I might just do it anyway...
hello juice motors,,,how much is to import a defender 90 to kenya

Hi,
I'm looking for the seal between the sunroof glas and the chassi.
Can somebody may help out with the article number or a link?
Hahahahaha. This is like watching Harry Potter and his red headed mate running a chop shop at the back of Hogwarts. 😂😂😂😂😂. Great video.
Great job fitting the sun roof, very precise cutting.
Soon Juice will be up there with the bigger names- no doubt.
Any reason you don't use a foam pre wash, is it due to the jet wash at the farm not being adaptable?
Thanks for the support! I’m no detailer but there must be a Lance that fits this pressure washer! I’ll have a look

I wouldn’t like to give you the measurement as Defenders factory tolerances are non existent! It might work for this car but not the next!
6:58 little series there? Future project ?
Certainly is!
Is that Nardo gray?
can i ask about sunroof part number and price
What year is it?
Great video!!! I was wondering how to do this to my 110, but where can I find it in Kenya?
Hmmm I wonder a main dealer?
Great vid Where did you get your brakes from ????

Can you please do something different, a disco 3 or 3, or a RR?
have you not got a nibbler meant for the job cheap air one from machine mart ?

👍👍
What make and model are the work lights on the rear?

Hi I’ve watched all of your videos on RUclips and I’m looking for some help on a 110 Defender that’s been sitting for to long
Start with the rust and axles 😁
The 90 is much more visually appealing than the 110
strange - considering non-sunroof Landy's are going for a premium over sunroof equipped models and highly sought out - that you would do a sunroof - think you dropped the value on the Landy a lot by doing this

Nice numberplate that
Sunroof on a Defender? Something else to leak or condense onto. Great looking vehicle though

That 5.7L V8 in the background 😰
Can any one tell me which type of shock absorbers are used in audi Q7, Mercedes G class and land rover defenders?
Nice mods,
Nice number plate HUE......
fckn sunroof, how very 70s, super motor though.
Less of talking, chasing birds & more of works would get you more likes 👍I guess.
What year was this vehicle?
