    Probably 1 on the best videos on YT. U have made such an easy link, comparison between appendicitis and peritonitis as well as discussing the key signs about both conditions. U have definitely made learning fun. I wish I had a teacher like u in med school. This is honestly one of the best brief/concise lectures ever and great quiz at the end for active recall. Wish u all the success in all your future endeavors. I am now definitely your life long fan from Pakistan.

      Thank you for taking the time to write this incredibly kind comment! We work super hard to make comprehensive but short videos that help everyone understand the key nursing concepts. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you so much for watching!! 😍 -Cathy

    I suffered from spontaneous peritonitis caused by a typhoid infection which punctured my small intestine and led to fluid buildup in my abdominal cavity. I was very close to death. I underwent two painful surgeries and endured enormous pain and suffering but thanks to my parents and the efforts of the doctors they saved my life

    These cards are helpful. I'm a visual learner. So, a card with a picture of McBurney's point would've helped as well. Thank you 😊

    Can a person live with appendix for up to 10 yrs? Without treatment??

    Can appendicitis also happen as the result of sudden impact trauma, in this case from getting a swift kick in the groin?

    • @LevelUpRN
      @LevelUpRN  Год назад

      Yes, trauma can lead to appendicitis… although it is not very common.
