Thank you for taking the bullet for us couples James! We’ve been curious about Secrets for a while. We really appreciate your input. It helps us choose where to invest our money when creating new adventures and memories. Funny you mentioned Vegas, we’re heading back to The Cosmo again. It was really awesome during Christmas and they just hooked us up with another three free nights!

My wife and I stayed at the Majestic Mirage in 2021 for 10 days, we had the full two room suite with the large balcony with hot tub. Totally agree with you on this review on the Majestic as it was spot on! Not the party atmosphere of other resorts we have stayed at, but that was not what we were looking for this trip as I needed a mental break from work and Covid life in NYC, wanted a chill vacation with good food, service and relaxation. When their beach and the beaches of the hotels on either side of us would get hit hard with the seaweed, they cleaned them up every few hours but it was a losing cause. Agree with you on the lobby, the Plaza with the Spanish influence and that GEM of a coffee shop. Keep you the good work!

My husband & I booked secrets Royal Beach! We love Punta Cana and love your reviews. We’ve also stayed at Hardrock, Royalton Hideaway, and Secrets Cap Cana. Secrets being our fav, we decided to book SRB! ❤️
How was secrets royal beach??
We are going to Secrets Cap Cana in June '23 for 7 nights. Your videos are one of the main reasons we are choosing to go to Punta Cana. It was difficult to choose between SCC and Excellence Punta Cana. I think the Secrets brand and the beach in Cap Cana sealed the deal for me. I've literally watched your Punta Cana videos 5-6 times trying to decide which resort to visit. Congrats on the success of your channel.
Thank you for this accurate and enlightening video… Heading to Punta Cana next spring was interested in adults only but have no real problem with kids, laughing and frolicking around. I am more interested in dancing may be a show or two and the casino… He is more interested in sports food and Jose Cuevo!
At home he is a couch, potato, and a sports fanatic… How ever this is a mile stone birthday for him and he is young at heart so I don’t want to be secluded and laid-back totally…
My niece stayed at one of the majestic properties over a year ago and she put a video on Facebook and I thought the place was absolutely lovely! But I guess I am trying to fine what will satisfy us both.

I have a mental block when it comes to all-inclusive resorts.
I just can’t trust a place that gives me all the food and liquor I want in a day, plus a place to sleep, for under $200 a night. As my 14 year old would say… “THAT’S SUS” 😭😂😭😂😭

We were after a party resort and an amazing vibe. I want to go somewhere solo in February what country/resort would you think would be your personal favourite. Is there anything you would say is a ‘must go”. Im looking for a fun yet luxurious trip! Hoping to hear some recommendations thank you and travel safe

I don't have a lot of time for activities because im so busy exploring everything on the property. Riu Republica and hard rock had the best nightlife thus far..
You're reviews are amazing! I stayed at the Encore in Vegas because of you. When I go to Punta Cana hopefully this year I will be using your fantastic research. Most likely I'll be traveling solo. Do you think I'll feel out of place being solo at the Mirage Majestic? Or would you suggest another hotel for solo travelers.
I wouldn't recommend the majestic properties for a solo traveler. Riu Republica is the best bet so far. More punta Cana hotels to come 😎

Yes - you have access to colonial and elegance 👍🏼
Adding that you do NOT normally have access to the other two resorts. Each is stand alone. They do have a shared area, Carbbean street. But you normally eat/drink where you sleep.
I have just booked a trip to sandals resort barbados and apparently sandals resorts are the best in the caribbean.

It must suck traveling with the lense of looking for negative things. When I read negative reviews and then go experience it for myself, I often realize some of those negative reviews were written by negative people who are just miserable

It will be our first time in Punta Cana and for a whole week, I just can’t decide which all inclusive we should go to and I finally decided to book with Royalton Bavaro just because I read some reviews that Bavaro beach is one of the best in Punta Cana but what I really wanted was a more laid back couples only resort with nice stretch of white sand beach. Which do you recommend? Thanks again!

Hey James! We are off to Punta Cana in May...with our 18 yr old and 21 yr old. We booked Secrets...are we going to regret it? It there any kind or "party" atmosphere at all? We still like to dance and have a good time.
Vicki! I'm from the mindset that only boring people get bored, and exciting people find excitement everywhere. With that being said, some properties make it easier to find boredom or excitement than others...
Secrets is a tranquil place. Younger adults will definitely find it a little too placid, and regular to older adults with a penchant for "fun" or "action" or "nightlife" are going to find the property tame. It's tame to begin with, and any semblance of nightlife ends at 10pm. Luckily, Dreams, in which you'll have access, is conveniently next door and that property definitely possesses an uptick in energy. There's a nightclub there (hours vary - hopefully it's open) and if your kids want to socialize they will most likely do so over there.
Again love your content top notch. I have a question can you get from Secrets to Hard rock easily? What's the best mode of Transportation?

The Secrets in Cap Cana is extremely couples only. but you really need to check out Hyatt Zilara in Cap Cana before you go
