I bought a flight to cancun to $150
$15 bus to playa del carmen
$18 ferry over to cozumel
stayed in studio apartment airbnb for $35 a night
rented a moped for $20 a day (have motorcycle experience)
for dinners I got off the tourist past and ate at local taquerias. $7 for a big dinner.
Doesnt have to be an expensive place if you wanna be a little adventurous!
and thennnn i would spend $1500 on scuba diving for the week lmao

And now he moves on to Jamaica!!! WOO HOO!!!! BTW one of my main rules about picking an All Inclusive resort is NEVER, EVER pick one anywhere near a cruise port. I learned that in Paradise Island. You have to compete with all those people and you may be staring at ships gliding across the water right off the shore constantly.

Hotel Xcaret Arte is a resort you should review. Some say the best all inclusive in Mexico. It is very expensive. Also Secrets Moche.
Secrets Moxche is soo fireee I just got back from being there for 7 days. Amazing resort pretty good food and a lot of different options, drinks were pretty decent and amazingggg service
Thank you for the insight. I was never interested in Cancún or Playa del Carmen because of the nightlife atmosphere. The closest we've been was to a super quiet and private spot 15k from Tulum. I'm glad I watched this video, I always wondered about Cozumel, its crowd and everything else you comment on, and assumed it was as loud as Cancún or Playa with too many spring breakers.

23 - Beach Bars! Places like Skyreef are great to spend a day just relaxing, having food brought to your beach chair, and cooling off with a snorkel or swim. Oh - I’m one of those older scuba divers you mention! 😂😂

If you live by the south Texas border fly from Reynosa to Cancun via vivaerobus and it’s very cheap. Beach wise. The beaches are nice on the west side of conzumel.

I did a catamaran excursion in Cozumel last summer when we stayed in Akumal area. It was okay nothing special and very busy with taking ferry all that we didn’t like that part too close to the locals and all that did not feel the most comfortable walking around the area. Preferred Isla Murejes it was much nicer and beautiful the beach areas are nicer. I did a video of our trip to Cozumel we did El Cielo its on my channel.
Travelling with a partner is great ,but Cozumel seems like it could be a personal retreat
brother. you forgot one key point when speaking about cozumel and that is Duty Free Shoping!!!!, with the exeption of (maybe) st martin - no other location in the caribbean has so many shops (especially with regards to jewelry and high end watches)

Cancun to playa del Carmen $250 pesos ($15 USD)
Ferry from playa del Carmen to Cozumel one way $ 290 ($17.50 USD) I'm not sure how it will cost a couple of hundred dollars like you mentioned. If you fly into Cancun and you got this route it will only cost you roughly around $35 USD.

Cozumel is a snooze fest and an absolute skip. Unless you come on a cruise, but I don't do those.

Nah Cozumel got way better beaches then Cancun and Playa del Carmen. You probably didn’t go to any beach clubs that where they have the nice beaches
