    his throwing motion is probably 20% less accurate than regular throwing motion, but his arm power is ridiculously strong

      your right, thats why most of the time people prove sprortsscience wrong. Like how they said Kaepernick's accuracy was 92%...yeah 92% chance of being intercepted 3 times in NFC championships..

    (1) I did a 7 page report on why Tebow is a winner. Out of all the qbs in the league, minimum of 14 games, he had the lowest passing attempts (271). The next lowest was 413 attempts by rookie qb from Jacksonville. "Well he runs the ball." Cam Newton had more rushing attempts and rushing yards than Tebow, and attempted 517 passes. The Broncos just ran the ball and tried to keep the ball out of Tebow's hands, unless they needed a comeback, which everyone knows about "Tebow Time."

  • @gatorsclue
    @gatorsclue 11 лет назад

    His deep ball has always been good. In college, he threw ducks, thow it always made it to his deep threats - Percy Harvin, Louis Murphy, and Riley Cooper. Any objective fan of the game will admit that. He has improved greatly in how he throws the ball, he even throw's spirals now! His weakness is his intermediate passing game. Even in his best comeback (vs Jets as a Bronco) he threw passes into the ground or made receivers dive for the ball. He does that routinely. He needs to get better at that

  • @DP3mo24hofosho

    TEBOW! TEBOW! The jets should give him a legitimate chance. if he failes, then so be it. what he did in denver last year was incredible, and it would be a shame if he never becomes a starting quarterback in the nfl again.

    To put it into perspective. If you are a gamer and play MW3 or COD do you play inverted or regular. Lets say you play regular and have for years. Well all of a sudden new team captain says you have to switch it up because that's how he rolls. Of course you can play inverted but it's just gonna take some time to adjust and get used to the swing of things.

    (2) In one game Tebow only had 8 passing attempts. You can't leave your shooting guard on the bench for a whole game, then ask him to come out and knock down 5 3-Pointers in less than 2 minutes. He's going to not have a groove or be warmed up to perform to everyone's pleasure. Look at what he did against the Steelers when they let him air it out. 316 yards passing. I'm happy he's going to the Jets were Rex will use him and give him the tools to be successful, unlike at Denver.

  • @gatorsclue
    @gatorsclue 11 лет назад

    Jay Cutler routinely holds the ball low, and has a huge elbow flare when he winds up to throw. Rivers' mechanics do not even need to be discussed. They both can gun it, therefore are excused.

    Why the hate for Tebow? Isnt that basically what Russel and RG3 do? Yeah, theyre better at throwing, but Tebow did the read option as well. Give the guy a chance. Let him play a couple of seasons and then form an opinion.

  • @Renix360
    @Renix360 12 лет назад

    For those who are still doubting Tim Tebow: You have to remember that Tebow has only been in the NFL for two seasons and of those two season he has only started in enough games to amount to a full season, so he basically just got out of his rookie season in his second year. Also, the lock out prevented anyone from having an offseason trainging camp, so once he actually gets one he should be golden. Also, it wouldn't hurt for them to build the team around him as well.

    Being left handed has nothing to do with the throwing motion. Ken Stabler, Boomer Esiason and Steve young were all left-handed and they threw just as well, if not better than their right handed counterparts. Also, there's a few lefties. Matt Leinart, Vick, Tebow, Kellen Moore, and Pat White to name a few.

    Let's be perfectly fair here - what he did in college with his slower-release has NOTHING to do with how it will/does affect his NFL play. For a show based on science, I find it a little sad they make a blanket statement like that without acknowledging or exploring the variables.

    @7RaPeKiNg7 Tebow had a string of luck against bad teams barely squeaking them out. That caught up the last five games where he went 1-4. Eerily similar to Orton. Vince Young already did this. He started off 8-0. It was impressive. He was supposed to be the next big thing. The problem is though, luck caught up with him and now he is riding the pine, something Tebow will soon be doing next year.

    I dont think he sucks when he helps lead a poor team like the Denver Broncos to a playoff win over the " Steal Curtan". Remember, the Broncos were 1-4 when he took over. And it's sad that people would call him gay because he lives a well rounded Christan life as a servant of God. Just because he doesnt sag, call women un-kind names, do drugs, or get drunk with his buddies doesnt mean he is gay. It means he is a well rounded Godly man who trys to do the right thing.

    Vick ran a 40 time of 4.35 while RG3 ran a 4.41, he had one of the most impressive seasons of any quarterback in the nfl in 2010, right behind aaron rodgers. I like RG3 and think he will be great but Vick in my opinion is a better rusher, RG3 wont have very good receivers with Washington so i think vick will have a better season. he has only made one bad decision in my opinion and that was dog figting.

    Hmmmm, Redskins tightened up its recieving corps during the free agency. RG3 has a better football IQ as a rookie then Vick did. It's all going to boil down on Shanahan. If he revolves the offense and playbook around RG3's skills he'll be up there with Cam as far as rookie seasons go. But if Shanahan gives him a old playbook with personal likes and schemes he wants RG3 to fall in on, RG3 will need more time to learn.

      its a shame that noone wanted to work with him on his throwing motion. i thought when he went to the Pats, bill O'brian (OC) wouldve helped him. after all hes a QB coach. then they cut him, smh

    • @shottahboyslim
      @shottahboyslim 9 лет назад

      Evets Zerimar they cut him because he didnt want to make the switch to TE , he could never become an NFL QB

    • @EvetsZerimar23
      @EvetsZerimar23 9 лет назад +1

      shottahboyslim
      its harder to adapt to a different position, especially since he hasnt played the position. Switching to TE in the pros wouldve been disastrous. Does he have a long and slow release? YES! To assume that Tebow would never get it right is too soon to tell. Terry Bradshaw was no good for the longest time bc his football IQ was low. It took several horrible years before he caught on. Brett Favre was viewed that way too. An ambitious gun slinger with low IQ and even he got a ring. ROMO was a walk on, moved up to practice team, then 3rd string, 2nd and finally first. Tebow has a competitive nature unmatched by many. Its his determination to be better and the faith in himself which gives me confidence.

    • @shottahboyslim
      @shottahboyslim 9 лет назад

      thats very true, but a receiving TE would have been his best bet , look at Denard Robinson and Ryan Tannehill they completely changed their positions and are doing pretty well

    • @EvetsZerimar23
      @EvetsZerimar23 9 лет назад

      shottahboyslim Tannehill changed in college. Robinson has insane speed. Tebow can break tackles, but blocking assignments and running routes are far more difficult, the learning curve wwould've been greater than the others had to adjust to. Tebow just has to learn to throw more efficiently. If he switched, he'd have routes, concepts, blocking assignments, timing, catching; a much longer list for a coach to deal with. If they dont have the patience to deal with one problem (throwing motion), what kind of patience would they have for his new learning curve? Not much i say. It wouldve been the true end of Tebow
