What would we ideally put in an Assets folder? Right now I have things separated into categories like "photoshop files' "Video Files" "Stingers" etc. Would Assets just be a parent directory for all that stuff?
Yes. The idea is to take the OBS studio folder and have everything your setup uses within that folder in some way. This way, if you put OBS in portable mode, you can backup everything in one package. Then if you install a plugin or update that breaks your setup, you can simply delete the bad OBS folder and use your backup in it's place. This was something I learned the hard way from testing plugins and losing entire setups because of broken plugins.

Record in MKV then Remux the file to MP4. Remux under File Menu.
