I don't care what ANYONE says: This is straight up one of the best and iconic guitar riffs of the past 25 years. This whole album was an instant classic the minute it dropped and I'm happy that people still love this record even 10 years later! Certified hood classic lmfao
Great Reaction! I'm glad you enjoyed listening to Artic Monkeys. Here's another song by them, if interested. "Artic Monkey - R U Mine? (Live)" (by the channel: Rowdy) --This song along with the particular album is a stand-alone. The album is called "AM" and it's their fifth studio album. This remarkable album diverges from their usual sound, in several ways. It draws inspiration from a wide range of genres/styles such as, psychedelic rock, blues & hard rock of course. But they even incorporate elements of R&B, funk, and soul throughout. And this electric mix sets it apart from the rest of their stuff. (IMhO) also, "AM" marks the Artic Monkeys first venture into the "hip hop sound". The Artic Monkey is an English rock band from Sheffield, England and was formed in 2002. The group consists of Alex Turner (lead singer), Matt Helders (drums), Jamie Cook (guitar), Nick O'Malley (bassist). And as always, I enjoyed rocking with you, Shon. Thanks for sharing.
Fun workout song! I’ve heard it so many times, and I’m not tired of it yet! RU Mine and Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High? are two other fantastic songs of theirs.
R U Mine, Arabella, Knee Socks, I wanna be yours from the same album as this are well worth listening to. Going back to the beginning, I bet you look good on the dance floor and When the sun goes down. Moving on to Brianstorm, Teddy Picker, Fluorescent Adolescent, Old Yellow Bricks & 505. My Propeller, Crying Lightning and Four out of Five 👌🏻bhf
Such a great song!! This was one of my son’s favorite bands when in high school, he used to play them in the car. He had the Alex Turner haircut, looked pretty sharp, got a little extra attention from the ladies! Lol. You’re right, the cadence is awesome!! It makes you feel kinda funny, like climbing the rope in gym class.
This song is freaking excellent bro! Heavy and precise. This is a good starter band to let your friends get into to soften them into metal music, cause it's got the same energy. The video and song is freaking trippy as hell too... like an acid trip! Bro, that feeling of darkness in this song is on point!
wtf are you talking about... this is as far from metal as miley cyrus... also, its far far from what arctic monkeys can do, its the popiest album they ever made, definitely not their best.
Amigo, try these: When The Sun Goes Down (Live HD Concert) I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor (Glastonbury 2013) There’d Better Be A Mirrorball (Later with Jools Holland) R U Mine (Glastonbury 2023)
Shon since you enjoy lyricist, you should check out "Pete & Bas Mr. Worldwide", "Sindhu Sesh", or "Stepped into the Building". All these titles are songs from Pete & Bas, who are two elderly rappers who write their own music.
'R U Mine' is the next one to go to after this. It's from the same album and has the same type of heavy beats. Same with 'Why Do You Only Call Me When You're High' but if you do that song just do a lyric video as the actual video I think will be too distracting. Their newest album the Car is more like a 60s surround sound experience that's like an old Beatles album. Anything off of 'AM' is going to be fire. Their older stuff is more fast and punk which is also good
Great reaction. Seriously. I’ve watched a few Americans react to Artic Monkeys and honestly most don’t really get them. But over here in the UK we reacted like you. The best thing about the band is they have another 30 tunes as good as this one.
Hey Shon 😊 ❤ your reaction channel. Arctic Monkeys ROCK! You should check out a super band from Scotland: Franz Ferdinand. Their self titled album is great, I ❤ the album Always Ascending. They are so versatile & creative.
Thanks for another great reaction! I'd love to see your reaction to the Broken Bells "Holding on for Life". Such an original song from an awesome black & white duo ❤😊
Arctic Monkeys are great, but Josh Homme had a big hand in this era of Arctic Monkey's direction. I would say some of his stuff from Queens of the Stone Age lands much closer to this track than most AC tracks. Make it Wit Chu in particular.
Hey just subscribed! See you haven’t reacted to more from Arctic Monkeys. I suggest you check out these songs/videos from them I highly recommend- When the sun goes down (Official Music Video) Arabella (Official Music Video) R U Mine (Official Music Video) Would love to see you react to these! 🤞💚
Now for the sequel to this song, Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High…🙂
Not the video though. Just do the audio
@@jeremylockner5680 yes, I was speaking of the actual music, hence my use of the word song and not video.
Yes man. A modern masterpiece, no doubt.
Love me some Arctic Monkeys

Another good one of theirs is Why You Only Call Me When You’re High ?
I heard it for the first time 2 years ago. One of those songs that burrows deep into your soul.

This song is epic.

Perhaps the best rock band in the entire world in this era
I think it’s the most seductive song to ever exist 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

@@Balaboshka Arctic Monkeys are VERY metal, as is Bach!

Every now and then you hear a pure original that sticks with you forever.
The insane part is that the lead singer plays that goated riff while singing🤯
My first time to this ! Thanks for sharing this. ❤️🙏
