Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is probably one of the only accurate videos of this type on RUclips. That, and you also preserved the quality too. I can tell for most of these you sought pixel perfect cleaness.
The best thing about this is all of the nostalgia this brings back to me. I actually played on the Wii when I was younger, it brings me a lot of nostalgia to hear the startup! Thanks man! ❤
Best 80s startup: Sega Master System (never played any Sega consoles but wow, those old Sega startups are groovy!) Best 90s startup: PS1 (pure nostalgia and bliss!) Best 2000s startup: GameCube (easily, it's ICONIC) Best modern era startup: Retroid Pocket 2+ (giving me that GBA nostalgia!)
This is a very comprehensive list and I like watching it for the preservative value. It's been in my Liked list for weeks by this point. Only today have I realised that there are subtitles. And the comments that occasionally come up are completely busting me up. The CDi ones are my favourites because there is a lot of time between the two clips in which a very stupid joke was planted and allowed to sprout. We're dealing with an expert.
I guess i will do some talkables 1 0:25 to 2:02 just screens. Nothing special 2 2:02 Who in the RDI team thought that making this expensive was a good idea 3 2:28 to 3:42 the "first" nintendo game product 4 3:44 rainbow 5 3:45 NES M82's lost brother. Here's a little help for you: 27:46 - I'm not sure that it's original startup of Pioneer Laseractive (Sega version), but I hope you'll find out - ruclips.net/video/DNE10910eaE/видео.html 27:50 - Original startup of Pioneer Laseractive (NEC version) - ruclips.net/video/vp_PumOBd7E/видео.html
The Socrates hardware had some FM-ish sound and synthesized speech included. I'm guessing that the footage is from the emulator, the FM and speech cannot be emulated.
@retrojamm07 yeah. mame did say the emulation wasn't accurate, but it was the best i could do. here's hoping for more emulation improvements in the future. ...i say about an educational console lmao
nintendo switch startup is 100% pure awful. just a red screen with fruity lame family music.....PS2 is by far the greatest startup to ever exist = truly out of this world. GameCube 2nd best
well the thing is the lil switch animation only shows up at first boot. the actual startup is 10x worse!!!!! yippeee!!!!!!! i love a plain nintendo logo in a black void with no music whatsoever!!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ even xbox cooked more than nintendo lmaooooo this, the ui, and no web browser are the only 3 things the switch sucks at everything else is peak
@@Vin917 its time for nintendo to go back to the GameCube & Wii U days = two best hard core gaming consoles nintendo even had period. that GameCube was so unreal

Watching This video of the evolution of game console startup Puts me to sleep, such a relaxing video 😌
Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is probably one of the only accurate videos of this type on RUclips. That, and you also preserved the quality too. I can tell for most of these you sought pixel perfect cleaness.

We're just finding a bucketload of new start ups. I didn't even know there was a protorype logo for the Amiga CD32.
The best thing about this is all of the nostalgia this brings back to me. I actually played on the Wii when I was younger, it brings me a lot of nostalgia to hear the startup! Thanks man! ❤
mario kart wii man ❤️❤️❤️
literally every place I went to back then had a wii and mkwii and it was so much fun. god i miss those days
The 90s Sega startups have a lot of charm to them. I miss Sega as a hardware company so much
Excellent work! Probably the best I've seen ever.
Nice! I just watched the old version and now I watch this!
The animation on the famicom disk system startup screen is hilarious!
Best 80s startup: Sega Master System (never played any Sega consoles but wow, those old Sega startups are groovy!)
Best 90s startup: PS1 (pure nostalgia and bliss!)
Best 2000s startup: GameCube (easily, it's ICONIC)
Best modern era startup: Retroid Pocket 2+ (giving me that GBA nostalgia!)
@@Noxedwin ayyy thanks!!! ❤️

Holy hell dude! How long did it take for you to create this masterpiece?
@rocketpunchgo1 this took a while to make trying to perfect the quality of the captures and researching obscure consoles that have a bootscreen.

Hey, i see you used some of my footage in this video. I'm not mad or anything but i'd like credit for all the ones that i recorded
@@Vin917 it happens, nothing is perfect. Im guessing the FM and speech isn't on real hardware for the German version too. 🤷♂️
you might request to macho nacho productions for the pioneer laseractive nec pc-engine startup. he got one and restored it.
1:04:39 STOP CALLING THE WII U BAD! It's actually a great and underrated console, but it has its number of flaws.
Can I add timestamps to this?
Sure! Go ahead!
@@Vin917 Alright. I'm genuinely stumped on some of these, so if I get any of them wrong, PLEASE let me know.
@@Vin917Please add them to timebar when you can.

nintendo switch startup is 100% pure awful. just a red screen with fruity lame family music.....PS2 is by far the greatest startup to ever exist = truly out of this world. GameCube 2nd best
well the thing is
the lil switch animation only shows up at first boot. the actual startup is 10x worse!!!!! yippeee!!!!!!!
i love a plain nintendo logo in a black void with no music whatsoever!!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
even xbox cooked more than nintendo lmaooooo
this, the ui, and no web browser are the only 3 things the switch sucks at
everything else is peak
@@Vin917 its time for nintendo to go back to the GameCube & Wii U days = two best hard core gaming consoles nintendo even had period. that GameCube was so unreal
