    Best 90s startup: PS1 (pure nostalgia and bliss!)
    Best 2000s startup: GameCube (easily, it's ICONIC)
    Best modern era startup: Retroid Pocket 2+ (giving me that GBA nostalgia!)

    This is a very comprehensive list and I like watching it for the preservative value. It's been in my Liked list for weeks by this point.
    Only today have I realised that there are subtitles. And the comments that occasionally come up are completely busting me up. The CDi ones are my favourites because there is a lot of time between the two clips in which a very stupid joke was planted and allowed to sprout.

    The Socrates hardware had some FM-ish sound and synthesized speech included. I'm guessing that the footage is from the emulator, the FM and speech cannot be emulated.
