After doing a little research, it's apparently called "morning music" and konami has apparently made references to this song despite the system itself being a commercial flop.
this is pretty fascinating, it's something that you almost never see in an arcade machine, unless you own one of these things or played those namco museum collections with the boot screens intact
15:38 i'd remember that beep sound since childhood days at local bunker laundromat when the owner has four arcade cabinets and one for them are Crusin USA game from nintendo machine. i'd turn off the arcade and turn it back on to gave me goosebumps when booting up with check roms. thank you for the video so i can remember that sound. 👍
Great video. Remarkably comprehensive. Unfortunately, some of the footage was examples of people blowing exorbitant amounts of money on arcade cabs, leaving no money for _a simple tripod for their cameras._ Or, like, a cardboard box and some duct tape. You got these clips of wonderful things that are not intended to be in consumers' hands, and the cameraperson is swaying like they're on a boat, the camera keeps auto-focusing on the wrong thing, and the auto-exposure blows out the entire footage whenever the screen initialises. If this were an archive, I'd request competent video, not taken by some melvin walking around in the background, in full view of the screen's reflection. This is post-2010. We don't have to use a webcam like we're doing an LP for Something Awful. Really interesting watch. My gripe is with, like, 3% of the video.
Thank you so much for this! I’ve been looking for a video like this for so long to binge watch!
It starts out with an ancient tape-driven system & ends with powerful PC processors.
How games have changed. 🕹️
