I wonder how would this perform vs the acebeam l35 2.0. I have the L35 2.0, have basically the same throw distance. I was considering this light but if that charging time is for all the released L16 2.0. i might just stay with my L35 2.0
L35 V2.0 even with the same throw distance gas much higher output (5,000 lm vs 2,000 lm on L16) with less tight hotspot and dimmer spill as it uses TIR optics instead of the reflector. Both lights are great, charging time is not an issue If an external charger can be used.
Yes, it was painfully slow, I would expect 2A charging at this point. Not sure if it was a technical aspect of the charging port supporting the pressure switch or just the cost cutting measure ..
Light seems great, but I've gotten used to TIR optics beams. It's hard to use a reflector light anymore. TIR kind of gives you both, a nice spill to walk with and a nice throwy hotspot.
But what makes you say that? The Acebeam has over twice the candela, is slightly larger but built better, has a real moonlight mode (1 lumen vs 50 lumens). It's max lumens isn't as high but it maintains its brightness for much longer due to additional mass and it way out throws the Nitecore. Plus it offers you a choice of emitter temps.
Yeah, but only at turn on I suppose ;) as the linear driver will shortly lower the output. Nevertheless, Wurkkos is a great budget option with great design as well
Acebeam, for all the amazing build quality you put into your lights this unanodized thread gig your using is pathetic!! How much more would it cost you to anodize the rear threads?? You do it on your headlamps but not your torches!?? WHY?? This is getting real old and lacking quality in my humble opinion...
@@forbiddenkalamari I think he's referring to, with anodized tailcap threads you can slightly unscrew the tailcap to lock the light out and prevent accidental activation in your pocket or backpack etc. You can't lock out the flashlight with unanodized tailcap threads.
I have an original L16 with a XHP35 Hi LED, time for an upgrade? Maybe next month, I just ordered a L35 V2
Unanodized rear threads needs to stop now!! They make these great built lights then leave the threads bare!! Not cool!!

That built in charging is unusually slow. I saw 5V and 0.2A = 1W. Even the most basic chargers today provide at least 1A. Good review though!

Rubber Button Cap not included?
🙏😊
How is this compared to the Fenix Tk22 TAC?

Try the nightcore i23!! Game changer!! 🌟 🔦

My Wurkkos TS11 has 616 meters of throw. And pretty lights...lol 😮

What do unanodized threads do vs anodized? I am not familiar
