My theory was that each SCP-001 came from different Realities. And knowing that each reality has its own 001, and when an XK-Class end if the world scenario happens, the 001 of that reality heads towards a different on (kinda like how the foundation transfers the important scps to different realities during a XK-Class scenario)
I stand by my theory that every SCP-001 is true, just not within the same universe. Most are either The Beginning, The End, or The Enemy. Since the Foundation can contact iterations of itself in different realitues, it would make sense that each 001 exists or existed in some other reality.
@@Garygary426 I'd like to propose SCP-001: The Friends we've Made. An Anomolous force that takes on the form of average humans that amplify human emotion while numbing logical thinking. The effect stacks as you make more cognitive connections with these entities. And the more _friends_ one has, the more physical the alterations become as muscular structures become enhanced. Perception sharpens. And aggression towards those outside of your friend group increases. These entities are lonely, and incredibly jealous. Wars will be fought between humans just so they can collect as many of these entities within their circle of friends as possible. The fighting will not stop until only one remains, but the most important thing is the bloodshed wasn't the true goal of this entity, it was the friends we made and lost along the way.

I think Dr Wondertainment must be the purest, or among the purest 001 entries. The anomolies that are branded with his mark exist as their own numbered entries in various places on the list. So the creator they have in common must also exist in some way
Likewise, the various scps with connections to the Broken God and his cult (which actually had possession of one of Wondertainments Mr. Misters), the scarlet king (even Mondack 110 mentioned in the video is to counter one of his scps), and the gate guardian (which has been used in various cross tests and interacted with 343 AKA God), this iteration of 001 oddly feels the most… unlikely, unless we have to take half or so of the wiki’s information as misinformation
@@thomaskrchmar8228 Honestly, I'd be truly shocked if even 10% of the wiki wasn't pure and utter misinformation. The SCP Foundation is totally the kind of organization to lie about the overwhelming vast majority of the things they contain.
My theory of 001 is a computer-generated "thing" which lives in it, trapped in there. There is a document for that with a white page, and there are white letters at the end of the discussion about that SCP, which read some truth about it.
When you devote your entire life to discovering SCP-001 and then it turns out it doesn’t even exist in the first place. *”Years of Academy training wasted!”*
I like the theory that the first SCP was simply a collection of oddities that the foundation found in it’s heyday before creating a numerical system for the SCPs after finding out that there are actually thousands of other abnormalities in the world.
I'm new to the channel. I knew of SCP stuff before but never delved into them. This is fantastic! I can't stop watching! Is there a particular order I should watch these in?

Yet that what it means have a seat at the council. What about you, 13? O5-13: I was a random bum on the street when the administrator ask if I wanted a job.
I like to think of it as them being "The Negative SCPS" which were found before the SCP fountdaintion was made (except the SPC-001 that is the foundatintion. I think that one has to do with SPC-1307). (Also I am not sure if tha is the correct SPC so it is the hole to another world SPC).
I would never think this to be the real scp 001 but after seeing this, I kind of want this to be the true scp 001 proposal. I am so happy for you that your dad is this scp 001 proposal, must be an achievement of sorts.
Plot twist: SCP-001 is just a bunch of unsorted anomalies. example: A: "we just found this new Anomaly where should we put the data about this?" B: "just put it in the SCP-001 folder"
being a senior security guard then becoming a scientist means you'd have almost as much trouble dying in a containment breach as 682 hell you'd end up being the last O5 alive if anything happened
The scarlet king: Oh no Imma disappear- AAAAAAAAAA The broken god: Why are we still here… just to suffer? When day breaks: NO WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!? LIGHTS ON!! LIGHTS ON!! The gate guardian: 🎶When you try your best but you don’t succeed~~🎶 The prototype: Mr. Stark, I don’t feel so good The black moon: WHAT… WHAT THE F**K
I was just thinking of this solution to the 001 conundrum earlier. So many articles are 001, which one do we pick. How about none lol. No need to pick a favorite. I would have said “reclassify everything that is 001 with a different number” and give SCP-001 no solution. There is no SCP-001. SCP-001 does not exist. No one is allowed to write SCP-001 anymore. But “all submissions to 001 are just smoke and mirrors” sounds like an even better proposal.
SCP-001 does actually exist in their files however they have given it the best secrecy possible, NOT LABELING IT SCP-001. Not joking, it is in one of the addendum files for the SCP that I am referencing. Haven't watched all the videos they have put out so they might have covered it already but it IS there in the official info.
Or, the foundation found out after a long time that you work for Chaos Insurguncy, and what better way to defeat your strongest opponent than giving him a sit on the big boys table and feed him with lies? By that way, they can counter spy their enemies for centuries
A Korean SCP? Excellent. It has so much build up and anticipation, but then stops it with the idea that knowing 001 is a fruitless endeavor. But it does emphasize the core aspect of the Foundation: The best kept secrets are the ones that keep you guessing. On it's own, it is actually pretty well done. But in universe, It could be just another smokescreen to keep us guessing just like those on the lowest tiers of the Foundation. It also begs a couple questions: If 001 Truly doesn't exist, then was it really worth it to go through all the trouble of making it to the top of the chain of command? If no, then would you leave the foundation out of disappointment? If Yes, then are you actually prepared to have an expanded lifetime perpetuating a lie?
But you get to know all secrets, have shared ultimate power with only 12 others, and you get to live a very, very long time and have access to groovy anomalous objects so long as, on average, they don't need containing and securing.
I always thought that some SCP 001s existed in alternate realities, the black moon and the spiral path, a good boy, and when day breaks cant exist in the same universe. but others can the prototype, the gate guardian, etc
For me, 001 is... Just it. In other words, every, some of the and none of theories in all combinations. It shifts with whatever someone wants. It's complicated. But I think that this is also accurate, as in my theory it both exists and doesn't exist.
So if SCP 001 is just a proposal to pretend there is an SCP 001 then what are the Scarlett king, when day breaks, gate guardian and etc actual SCP numbers?
@@Glub_glurb Well, IMO they exist, but each own to their own universe, like, every "scp-001" actually exists within a reality, but "our" reality is the main one (since, you know, we're living here), and every 001 has a number, but is actually scrabbled within all the other scps as "just another one"
@@tjrex9458I'm going to be honest. I've gotten real fucking sick of multiple universes. To say that they're all real just seems like a huge cop out At least them not existing at all is a bit more original

@@RealEnerjak but if ya label it 001 then sooner or later some idjit will find it and ya have a nice comfy chair reverting to "Oh My god nooooo!"...so ya give the really bad stuff number that doesn't indicate its actually the biggest threat to consensual reality out there..
Well, they all may be, in their own alternate reality, like that one kid scp who travels through the multiverse, maybe all the SCP-001's we "know" are the tale he has been told by the foundation
My three personal visions of SCP001: • Dr Bright himself • Massachusetts • SCP2952’s true form What, nobody ever said they had to be _deadly,_ because the numerical classification of an anomaly is just that: a number. There is no rule that says SCP001 has to be an XK Class event, or a being that can cause it! It’s just the number given based off of when it was found. And given how easy CORGI was to find, it makes sense that it was the first! Or “This Is How The World Ends.” That’s my personal favorite XK class event.
Really, you should've seen it coming. You are well aware of the Foundation's capacity and willingness to lie, deceive, and distort the truth or even other lies.
I like the idea that SCP-001 isn’t one specific thing. It’s a title given to many different anomaly’s for different reasons. There is no true SCP-001 because that label isn’t there to tell us what the first anomaly the foundation catalogued was. But it’s there to not only (as the video said ) keep everyone going in the same direction. But it’s also a label for important or special SCPs that the foundation has some special connections to. And, at least for me. The mystery of SCP-001 is one of the more interesting things about the SCP universe.
So quick question: why cant you counter 173 by alternatively closing our eyes? ( i mean yes there is a chance that your mess up but it still sounds better than trying to keep both eyes open at once which will just get you killed after a bit of time
I read from another comment that one of the doctors in the foundation did this, but 173 thought it was "unfair" and "cheating" so it moved even when being looked at and killed them anyway. This implies that 173 just has this rule applied by itself like it was a game and there is really nothing stopping it from simply killing you straight ahead. But I thought 173 wasn't intelligent? Idk. Another one says that blinking your eyes one at a time creates a blind spot in your vision to which 173 can move to and then kill you.
have you ever tried to blink one eye at a time for an extendedperiod? it doesnt properly moisterize yor eyes and you end up feeling the need to blink far more often. Sure it can greatly extendthe time you can last but it by no means is sustainable forever

@@spoodybo that’s wrong. @IndigoTeddy13 is correct, but half correct as it is only one of the MANY entities called “pattern screamers” that figuratively exist only to not exist. My theory was that each SCP-001 came from different Realities. I stand by my theory that every SCP-001 is true, just not within the same universe. Most are either The Beginning, The End, or The Enemy. Since the Foundation can contact iterations of itself in different realitues, it would make sense that each 001 exists or existed in some other reality.

Wait friends you have more than 3? That have not been killed by anomilies HOW!

My headcanon for 001 is that its just a really boring entity with the power to edit documents remotely trying to see all cool and threatening, so it writes fake entry's to trick people into thinking its scary.
The quest for the truth about SCP-001 is ultimately a cruel shaggy dog story.

My theory of 001 is a computer-generated "thing" which lives in it, trapped in there. There is a document for that with a white page, and there are white letters at the end of the discussion about that SCP, which read some truth about it.
I always thought of it as a slot left open for the theoretical cause of all anomalous activity
When you devote your entire life to discovering SCP-001 and then it turns out it doesn’t even exist in the first place.
*”Years of Academy training wasted!”*
SCP 001 is just like #1 FBI most wanted... it's reserved for the inevitable world ending SCP for that dimension.
I like the theory that the first SCP was simply a collection of oddities that the foundation found in it’s heyday before creating a numerical system for the SCPs after finding out that there are actually thousands of other abnormalities in the world.
I liked the idea of "when day breaks" as SCP001.

Dang, an O5 must have been so drunk or high that he must have wrote that 001 story, huh?
I've been thinking about the one eye open technique for 173 for a while glad it actually works, love this dude

I find it strange that one eye blinking isn’t standard protocol at this point for scp-173.

My three personal visions of SCP001:
• Dr Bright himself
• Massachusetts
• SCP2952’s true form
What, nobody ever said they had to be _deadly,_ because the numerical classification of an anomaly is just that: a number. There is no rule that says SCP001 has to be an XK Class event, or a being that can cause it! It’s just the number given based off of when it was found. And given how easy CORGI was to find, it makes sense that it was the first!
Or “This Is How The World Ends.”
That’s my personal favorite XK class event.
What are you gonna tell us next? That the SCP Foundation is not real?
To me this is now the Headcannon SCP-001 no other thing fits so perfectly
Would love to see a lucky charm scp.
There's not a 001....

Someone in The comments said this does work and a scientist tried it and didn't die
have you ever tried to blink one eye at a time for an extendedperiod? it doesnt properly moisterize yor eyes and you end up feeling the need to blink far more often. Sure it can greatly extendthe time you can last but it by no means is sustainable forever
Funny how the public knows more about the scp foundation than the actual people who work there.
